The integration of operational research techniques in the professional life has proved to be indispensable to accomplish delicate tasks in global companies, especially with the complications encountered in various disciplines. Such complications are mainly related to the links between physical and human resources in a management system at the operational level. In this paper, a new integer programming formulation of the booking stays problematic at summer resorts for a foundation members is proposed. The model was treated as a constrained assignmentproblem that provides many constraints related to the foundations' rules and requirements. The objective of this model is to maximize a linear function and therefore satisfy the expressed choices of the majority of the foundation members concerning the period and residence in a particular center. The strength of our model lies in its ability to manage a large number of booking requests in the presence of very limited resources. This model is solvable by powerful existing software tools with IP solvers. Our new model was adopted by the Moroccan Mohammedia Foundation for Social Works of Judges and Justice Officials (MFSWJJO), and the obtained results were applied during the summer of 2018. The obtained results of experiments with real-data from MFSWJJO are reported.

The biofilm ubiquitously exists on most wet surfaces. It is a protective shield of the bacteria and causes the difficulty in the disinfection. The irrigation of the biofilm by the specific swimmer bacteria can exacerbate killing of biofilm bacteria. Therefore, we precisely investigate the tunneling of swimmers bacteria within biofilms. These bacterial stealth swimmers create transient opened spaces in the biofilm. We found that these opened spaced in the biofilm is the obvious indication of the motion of the swimmers. We exploit both detected swimmer in one swimmer channel and the opened space in the other biofilm channel of confocal microscope video, in order to interactively improve the tracking of the swimmer's motion in the biofilm, which is implemented by improving a successful algorithm of single particle tracking. Moreover, we quantitatively study the swimmer trajectory, the opened space and their relation in the large-scale microscope video when the biofilm is separately irrigated by many different species of bacteria. We try to discover the influence of the irrigated bacteria on the biofilm.

IRA is a Fortran library that solves the shape matching problem for atomic structures, stored as sets of points representing the atomic positions. In the case of exact- and near-congruence, IRA provides the optimal rigid transformation between the structures, given by the atomic assignments, the rotation/reflection matrix, and the translation vector. IRA is also able to operate on structures containing a non-equal number of atoms, i.e. matching a structure to any of its fragments. Any application that requires the solution of a shape matching problem could benefit from IRA.
