Considering that the Arrhenius equation between stress condition and lifetime is valid and that the proportional lifespan at an excessive pressure reflects some reliable statistical properties. It is essential to demonstrate the highest diagnostic strategy from the perspective of effectiveness under such living scenarios. Knowing the semi-optimal test plan, where effectiveness is similar to that of the maximum one and test conditions are straightforward, is additionally helpful. The goal of minimization is to determine the ideal amount of test subjects with each test stressors, and we assume that there are three sample stress levels. The root-average-squared error for the duration in use circumstance serves as the benchmark for optimization problems. We were using the hyperparameters in an actual trial situation to adjust for realism. If predictability of the Characteristic curve is necessary, we have ended up finding that there is just a subtle distinction between both the optimal results obtained and the mainstream test result when making comparisons it to the data achieved that use the mainstream tester, in which test samples are equitably represented to each experiment anxiety levels. The traditional testing phase is one of the partially ideal test plans, in our opinion. The agreement between the theory and computer findings has been examined. © 2023 IEEE.

Service outage or downtime is a growing challenge to the service providers and end users. The major cause for the unavailability firstly is failure of equipments and applications at various places and secondly failure for proactive diagnosis and rectification. The system activities that are logged and the response of customers and providers in the form of trouble tickets could be studied for minimizing network faults. The downtime can be reduced when the failures are predicted well in time and proactively corrected. Accurate prediction of faults helps in responding to downtime even before the customer tickets are raised or network trouble is encountered. Most of the research focuses on trouble shooting through forecasting the quantity of trouble tickets using the historical ones. If these tickets can be supported with the warning in the form of Syslogs and the technical support of network tickets the predictive models would be more efficient and accurate. Dynamic and truly adaptive machine learning algorithms are essentially required for processing the torrent of data and formulating predictions based on the trends and the patterns existing in it. The work refers to i) identifying number of trouble tickets that are related to the device a few days before the network component fails, ii) predicting fault will occur in broadband networks. Lasso and Ridge regression are used for the first and Bayesian structural time series analysis and prophet are used for the latter.

Containerization technology helps achieving not only better portability and interoperability but also better performance and efficiency on various cloud computing arrangements. Such technology is expected to empower cloud federations by enhancing portability and scalability across the federation. In this paper, we propose an architecture by adding two subcomponents to the NIST reference architecture for identifying resources and managing container orchestration in cloud federation environments. The architecture adds two subcomponents to the NIST reference architecture. The proposed two new sub-components enable resource identification and container orchestration across cloud federation members. These names of the two subcomponents are the Resource Identifier and the Container Orchestrator, respectively. The Resource Identifier component identifies the appropriate federated member for allocating tasks based on previous experience and current status. The Container Orchestrator facilitates the management and orchestration of containers at the federation level. We also identified several techniques, which can be used for resource identification. Among those, linear regression technique is selected for resource provisioning and identification of federation members. Further, these techniques are also expected to learn from log files from previous executions and prioritize resources based on the current resource status and previous experience.

Past earthquake damages to road and highway structures such as bridges and tunnels demonstrate that it can severely disrupt network performance. These types of lifeline damages negatively impact the economy of the region, as well as post-earthquake emergency response and recovery. The seismic performance of these structures is almost difficult to model, because performance is a function of design, age, and local geotechnical conditions. In addition, earthquake intensity is also highly uncertain. Since the vulnerability of transportation network is not a rapidly quantifiable concept, and road networks are vulnerable to many events, many of researchers tried to find acceptable definitions in this regard. This pilot study presents a Seismic Vulnerability Score Assignment Model (SVSA) applying linear regression technique for two types of road structures;namely bridges and tunnels as samples. This model helps the project managers and decision makers rank the road structures based on seismic vulnerability scores easily.

Electrical energy enriches today's world and so the forecast of its consumption aids energy industries, governments, as well as investors in making informed decisions at any point in time. It is on this background that this paper engaged regression analysis techniques to forecast on medium-term basis the electric power consumption within the region of Abeokuta in Ogun State of Nigeria. Three different regression techniques: linear, compound-growth and quadratic; were employed to forecast the energy demand based on previous load consumption of the study area. The performance evaluation metrics employed to measure the accuracy of the forecast are the Mean Average Percentage Error (MAPE) and the Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). Of the three techniques, linear regression recorded the least values of MAPE and RMSE. Therefore, with the employment of the linear regression technique, the load demand for July to December in 2018 was forecasted and the percentage load growth achieved for each of the months. The results obtained from this analysis could assist the management of the Regional Headquarters of the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company on the need to make adequate planning that would facilitate efficient management of energy supply within the region.

Simple and accurate extraction methodology for RF MOSFET valid up to 20 GHz

An accurate and simple parameter extraction technique for deep submicron MOSFETs using a conventional MOSFET model with three terminal resistances for the gate, source and drain, as well as a simple substrate coupling network and a non-reciprocal capacitor is proposed. This extraction technique utilises both Z and Y parameter analysis on the proposed small-signal equivalent circuit. RF simulation is carried out using the BSIM4 DC core model with the extracted extrinsic components. Analytical equations are derived for all the RF parameters and a linear regression technique is used to extract the parameters. Transcapacitance is utilised in the model to ensure charge conservation and good fitting of the Y-21 and Y-12 parameters. The extracted and optimised RF parameter values are in close agreement, which implies that little or no optimisation is required using this technique. Hence, this extraction methodology can be implemented easily for RF MOSFET modelling. Excellent agreement has been obtained between the simulated and measured results up to 20GHz.

In Britain POCL, which runs the nationwide network of post offices, uses a risk index to identify which of its offices are most at risk and thereby warrant priority for security upgrading. Der Mikrozensus 1970 ergab, daß von 60,4 Millionen der damaligen Wohnbevölkerung 2,22 Millionen Personen an Beschwerden im Bereiche der Atmungsorgane litten. Bei 552 000 Personen bestanden die Krankheitserscheinungen seit länger als einem Jahr. Welcher Prozentsatz der Erkrankten an Folgen von Inhalationsschäden litt, ist schwierig abzuschätzen. Sicherlich spielen unfallsartige Einwirkungen von Reizgasen eine geringe Rolle. Dies ergibt sich aus den Unfallstatistiken eines chemischen Großbetriebes und der österreichischen Unfallversicherungsanstalt. Mit Ausnahme der Staublungenerkrankung kommen Inhalationsschäden auch bei den entschädigungspflichtigen Berufskrankheiten selten vor. Bei Arbeitsunfällen und Berufskrankheiten erfolgt in jedem Einzelfall eine strenge kausale Beurteilung. Bei epidemiologischen Untersuchungen über die Verbreitung von Inhalationsschäden in Risikogruppen oder in der Gesamtbevölkerung ist auf eine Reihe von methodologischen Problemen zu achten. 1. Auswirkungen unterschiedlicher Zuweisungsraten zu Stichproben (Berkson's fallacy); 2. die Herabsetzung der Effizienz von Reihenuntersuchungen durch „falsch-positive“ Untersuchungsergebnisse; 3. Schwierigkeiten bei der Anwendung der multivariaten linearen regressionstechnik beim Aufstellen von Beziehungen zwischen Lungenfunktionsparameter und Konzentrationen von Schadstoffen in der Atemluft. Durch Einbeziehung neuer Auswertungstechniken wird die Analyse komplexerer Fragestellungen möglich sein. Als Beispiele für moderne biometrische Modelle werden angeführt: 1. „Computer simulation of industrial hazards“ nach Knox. Die jährlichen Erkrankungsraten gefährdeter Dienstnehmer werden unter Berücksichtigung des Altersaufbaues, der Fluktuation in den Betrieben, der Dosis-Wirkungsbeziehung zwischen Noxe und Organismus und des Pensionsalters abgeschätzt; 2. das polychotome linear logistische Modell nach Rasch. Dieses Modell zeichnet sich vor allem durch „Stichprobenunabhängigkeit“ aus.
