A survey of 400 college students in Sichuan Province shows that the proportion of college students participating in community volunteer service is relatively *** logistic regression model analysis,the main factors influencing college students' willingness to participate in community volunteer service are gender,household registration type,whether or not the only child,the number of previous participating times,activity organization form and evaluation of community volunteer ***,formulating appropriate incentives can effectively strengthen the willingness of college students to participate in community volunteer service.

We examine the issue of student dropout rates by developing a method to classify students as being in either a "preliminary dropout" state or a "normal" state based on the student's learning data (student history, GPA, etc.). A preliminary dropout state is a state in which it is likely that the student will drop out but has not yet done so;a normal state is a state in which the student is not likely to drop out. Although dropout commonly results once a student is in the preliminary dropout state, there are cases where making an effective qualitative change can produce a return to the normal state. We define this as a good state change and analyze its distinguishing features.

It is important to ensure the infrared detectors will work properly in practical application,so a series of tests must be carried out before putting them into application. In order to reduce test cost, this paper proposed a two-stage failure prediction model for infrared detectors during tests based on the logistic regression model. The solution has shown significant business values. With only the first three test stages' data, under the condition that 99% of the normal detectors are classified as normal products, we can screen out 54.55% of the detectors which will fail before the last vacuum test. Furthermore, in the second stage prediction, we can screen out 80% of the final failure detectors.

Advanced statistical models and data analytic tools to enhance football performance have not been utilized to their full potential. The University of Virginia Football program has begun to build analytics into their program;however, we believe that robust data analytics can continue to be added to further improve the decisionmaking process. This effort is supported by the belief of the coaching staff in analytic-based strategies. This paper outlines tools that we have built to enhance data analytics for ***. football. One of the tools outlined was built with the goal of removing the guess work out of play calling and providing the coaches with specific probabilities of potential outcomes of each play they could run. These probabilities are provided by statistical models, and a simulation tool has been built for the use by coaches and players. Two of the tools outlined will provide the coaches with analytics that enhance their scouting of opponents. One of these tools has been built to ensure that the coaches can quickly create powerful visualizations of their opponents play calling, while the other is to provide the coaches with critical statistics that they should focus on when game planning for an opponent. This paper also outlines how we have advised the coaches on their current data collection and how they can improve the way that they record data to suit their analytical needs. Providing the coaches with analysis that will improve on field performance requires providing them with intuitive tools that can be used without a data scientist present, while still ensuring that they understand how the analysis is conducted.

The performance of many parallel applications depends on loop-level parallelism. However, manually parallelizing all loops may result in degrading parallel performance, as some of them cannot scale desirably to a large number of threads. In addition, the overheads of manually tuning loop parameters might prevent an application from reaching its maximum parallel performance. We illustrate how machine learning techniques can be applied to address these challenges. In this research, we develop a framework that is able to automatically capture the static and dynamic information of a loop. Moreover, we advocate a novel method by introducing HPX smart executors for determining the execution policy, chunk size, and prefetching distance of an HPX loop to achieve higher possible performance by feeding static information captured during compilation and runtime-based dynamic information to our learning model. Our evaluated execution results show that using these smart executors can speed up the HPX execution process by around 12% - 35% for the Matrix Multiplication, Stream and 2D Stencil benchmarks compared to setting their HPX loop's execution policy/parameters manually or using HPX auto-parallelization techniques.

The global growth in the incidence of Type 2 Diabetes (T2D) has become a major international health concern. As such, understanding the etiology of Type 2 Diabetes is vital. This paper investigates a variety of statistical methodologies at various level of complexity to analyze genotype data and identify biomarkers that show evidence of increased susceptibility to T2D and related traits. A critical overview of several selected statistical methods for population-based association mapping particularly case-control genetic association analysis is presented. A discussion on a dataset accessed in this paper that includes 3435 female subjects for cases and controls with genotype information across 879071 Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNPs) is presented. Quality control steps into the dataset through pre-processing phase are performed to remove samples and markers that failed the quality control test. Association analysis is discussed to address which statistical method is appropriate for the dataset. Our genetic association analysis produced promising results and indicated that Allelic association test showed one SNP above the genome-wide significance threshold of 5 x 10(-8) which is rs10519107 oOdds Ratio oOR =0: 7409;P Value oP = 1: 813 x 10(-9). While there are several SNPs above the suggestive association threshold of 5 x 10(-6), these SNPs should be considered for further investigation. Furthermore, logistic regression analysis adjusted for multiple confounder factors indicated that none of the genotyped SNPs had passed genome-wide significance threshold of 5 x 10(-8). Nevertheless, four SNPs (rs10519107, rs4368343, rs6848779, rs11729955) have passed suggestive association threshold.

With the development and popularization of Internet technology, e-commerce platform has provided satisfying products for customers and cultivated customer loyalty. Nevertheless, the loss of user is still a popular issue in business field and academic field. Based on logistic regression model, this paper established an e-commerce user churn prediction model through preliminary research on e-commerce customer churn behavior. By using the factor analysis method, the user's online duration, number of logins, attentions, and other user behavior factors were analyzed which concludes the factor affecting the loss of users. Finally, the empirical study proved that the proposed EBURM model can predict user churn behavior in a high confidence level.

The study of species habitat selection mechanism and spatial distribution prediction has important guiding significance for the conservation and maintenance of endangered species. In this study, the "3S" technology was used to obtain the ground survey data and ecological driving factors. Then the differences and correlations among the ecological driving factors were analyzed. The binary logistic regression model was used to study the habitat selection and spatial distribution prediction of rhinolophidae in Wuling mountain area. The results showed that the rhinolophidae preferred area far from the roads and resident land and near the rivers. The reason may be that the rivers could provide the water and food source for the activities of the rhinolophidae. While the human disturbance was serious near the roads and resident land, there was a certain restriction on the predatory behavior and commuting behavior of the rhinolophidae. This led to the phenomenon of plaque separation and seriously affected the survival and development of the rhinolophidae. So it is recommended to protect the surrounding water body and take full account of the human activities on the impact of the rhinolophidae habitat in the process of economic construction and resource development, to improve the habitat quality of rhinolophidae and protect the survival and reproduction of the population.

The human capital is one of the most important factors supporting the survival of microenterprises. The success of the enterprise depends on the relevant preparation, knowledge and education of the owner. In the analysis the sample of 711 enterprises from one of the regions based on retrospective survey was used. Only microenterprises without employed workers at start of their activities were selected. In such a situation the human capital of the enterprise can be directly linked to the human capital of the entrepreneur (the owner). The logistic regression model was used to analyse the enterprises' survival chances with variables describing the human capital of the entrepreneur. The older the owner is and the higher educational level he represents, the higher survival chances of the enterprise. The goal of this paper was the verification of the hypothesis: High level of the human capital of the entrepreneur increases the chances of the microenterprise's survival on the market.

In order to accurately predict the plate production process defects,and increase the rate of finished products,and improve enterprise profits,on the base of large-scale industrial data accumulated in medium-thick plate production process,this paper proposes using machine learning and data analysis theories and methods to study the data-driven stress and product defect prediction model of *** selecting the data features which have significant effect on the stress of the plate,we establish the logistic classification and forecasting model,and use cross-validation to train and validate the *** experimental results show that the feature extraction and prediction model can accurately predict the stress defect classification of the medium-thick plate production process.
