A primal-dual infeasible-interior-point algorithm for multiple objective linear programming (MOLP) problems was presented. In contrast to the current MOLP algorithm, moving through the interior of polytope but not confining the iterates within the feasible region in our proposed algorithm result in a solution approach that is quite different and less sensitive to problem size, so providing the potential to dramatically improve the practical computation effectiveness.

multiple attribute decision making (MADM) problems are the most encountered problems in decision making. Fuzziness is inherent in decision making process and linguistic variables are well suited to assessing an alternative on qualitative attributes using fuzzy rating. A few techniques in MADM assess the weights of attributes based on preference information on alternatives. But they are not practical any more when the set of all paired comparison judgments from decision makers (DMs) on attributes are not crisp and also we have to deal with fuzzy decision matrix. This paper investigates the generation of a possibilistic model for multidimensional analysis of preference (LINMAP). The model assesses the fuzzy weights as well as locating the ideal solution with fuzzy decision making preference on attributes and fuzzy decision matrix. All of the information is assumed as triangular fuzzy numbers (TFNs). The change of Intellectual Property Protection ( IPP) from a softer process patenting to a stronger product patenting in Indian Pharmaceutical Industry ( IPI) is attracting many global drug majors to source their production from India, which is the fourth largest producer of pharmaceuticals in the world. In this paper, the interests of different stake holders like the buyers ( multinational enterprises), who are searching for efficient partners and the vendors ( Indian drug producers) that are competing for the contracts, are analysed for a suitable efficiency evaluation criterion. The primary objective of this paper is to study how various firms in the IPI with different business strategies, competing for the same opportunities can find suitable benchmarking peer groups to meet the challenges of a dynamic business environment using data envelopment analysis ( DEA). A multipleobjective DEA model that determines suitable peer groups for inefficient companies is discussed along with more traditional DEA models. The proposed model has the flexibility to include inputs like R& D expenditure and outputs like Exports that are not homogeneously distributed across the firms and address the interests of various stake holders like buyers and vendors simultaneously.

In this paper an aspiration-level method for multiple objective linear programming is developed. In this method, a quadratic distance function is minimized over an efficient face of a multiple objective linear programming problem. The solution to such quadratic programming model is an efficient point that is "nearest" to a given aspiration level. An efficient face is determined by an efficient weight vector generated by a weight-update algorithm. A combined weight-update and aspiration-level interactive method is then presented. The main purpose of the combined methods is to allow a decision maker to control the selection of preferred solution by jumping from one efficient face to another. A decision support system is also developed to implement the combined methods.

In this paper we present the concept of maximal descriptor set as a way of identifying faces of a polyhedron in a unique form. This concept is based on the implicit representation of a face through its maximal set of binding inequalities. By making use of this notion it is possible to derive new practical tests to characterize the efficiency of arbitrary faces in a multipleobjectivelinear program, some of which can be seen as extensions of other well-known results on efficiency for general points (not necessarily vertices). In this paper we investigate the mechanism of the instability of the original MODIO models theoretically and develop a modified MODIO model in virtue of the idea of goal programming.
