While logistics research recently has placed increased focus on disruption management, few studies have examined the response and recovery phases in post-disaster operations. We present a multipleobjective, integrated network optimisation model for making strategic decisions in the supply distribution and network restoration phases of humanitarian logistics operations. Our model provides an equity-based solution for constrained capacity, budget and resource problems in post-disaster logistics management. We conduct designed experiments for this NP-hard problem to analyse important aspects of the integrated problem for both small- and large-sized networks: full vs. partial restoration and pooled vs. separate budgeting approach. Finally, we apply the model to a Hazus-generated regional case study based on an earthquake scenario and generate efficient Pareto frontiers to understand the trade-off between the objectives of interest.

The development of technology accelerates the life cycle of products and the rate of product substitution. Dynamic random access memory (DRAM), which is characterized by generation substitution, is an innovation in technology development that enhances competitive capabilities. In this study of the DRAM industry, the Gompertz model, traditional logistic growth model, Norton and Bass model, and fuzzy piecewise logistic growth model are applied to predict the growth trends of eight generations of the DRAM market. The results show that only the fuzzy piecewise logistic growth model and the Norton and Bass model can effectively forecast the growth trends of coming generations in the DRAM industry. Of these two models, only the fuzzy piecewise logistic growth model that detects change points can be used to reasonably explain the phenomenon and status of generation replacement in the DRAM industry at particular times, and provide an overview of the market situation.

In the real world we are confronted with many cases where the ratio of input/output data is so important for managers, so in this regard we cannot use traditional Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) models to evaluate the efficiency of decision -making units (DMU) and we should use DEA models based on ratio data. To get the corresponding benchmark for each inefficient decision -making unit, we need to reduce and increase the inputs and outputs, respectively, and get the unified projection of the decision maker unit on the efficiency frontier. In this paper we present a multi -objective linear programming (MOLP) model for evaluating efficiency based on defining the production possibility set in the presence of ratio data and to get the corresponding benchmark to each decision -making unit DMU. We use the Zionts and Wallenius (Z-W) interactive method to solve the MOLP model presented. Using the target setting by manager among the solutions resulting from the MOLP problem, we choose best solution according to the managers' preferences as benchmark and at the end we present the results of the research.

During the flight, the crew might consider modifying their planned trajectory, taking into account currently available information, such as an updated weather forecast report or the already accrued amount of delay. This modified planned trajectory translates into changes on expected fuel and flying time, which will impact the airline's relevant performance indicators leading to a complex multiple-criteria decision-making problem. Pilot3, a project from the Clean Sky Joint Undertaking 2 under European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme, aims to develop an objective optimisation engine to assist the crew on this process. This article presents a domain-driven approach for the selection of the most suitable multiple-criteria decision making methods to be used for this optimisation framework. The most relevant performance indicators, based on airline's objectives and policies, are identified as: meeting on-time performance, leading to a binary value in a deterministic scenario;and total cost, which can be disaggregated into sub-cost components. The optimisation process consists of two phases: first, Pareto optimal solutions are generated with a multi-objective optimisation method (lexicographic ordering);second, alternative trajectories are filtered and ranked using a combination of multi-criteria decision analysis methods (analytic hierarchy process and VIKOR). A realistic example of use shows the applicability of the process and studies the sensibility of the optimisation framework.

In order to resolve non-protruding-multi-programming, a new direct algorithm of multi-programming optimization is presented in is paper. A new prior-order number is put forward and the genetic algorithm is used to select resolutions that possess maximal prior order. In this way the algorithm can resolve the multi-programming possessed that the feasible region is indefinite aggregate. The algorithm offers a feasible method to resolve non-protruding-multi-programming.
