Natural killer (NK) cells contain specialized lysosome-related organelles termed lytic granules allowing them to mediate cytotoxicity against tumorigenic or virally infected target cells. NK cells polarize their lytic granules toward a target cell via the microtubule-organizing center (MTOC). Prior to that, however, lytic granules converge to the MTOC along microtubules utilizing minus-end-directed microtubule motors. An approach to wheel loader bucket raise time recognition based on mathematical algorithms is presented in this *** loader bucket raise time is one of the most essential parameters in total cycling time,which provides the work efficiency for wheel *** loader bucket raise time is detected by the application of a simple mathematical algorithm after wavelet ***,a signal of wheel loader total cycling time signal(original signal) which includes bucket raise time,bucket dump time and bucket lower time was selected,and then it was processed by the wavelet ***,we could get wavelet decomposition approximation signal a5,and mathematical algorithm was implemented at simple computational cost by signal form,which detected the singular points from signal ***,original signal based on threshold decision combined singular points to detect the onset point and offset point of bucket raise segment in original *** then we could get bucket raise *** records were from a loader factory online detection *** result demonstrated that the detection rate is more than 95%.This study implemented automatic detection of wheel loader bucket raise time.

The two jugs problem is a classic problem in mathematics and computer sciences. In this paper, we introduce a new algorithm to solve the general two jugs problem. This algorithm has the advantage that one can easily apply it to determine all measurable amounts by the given jugs and provides us insight on the hidden relationship between the two different approaches to tackle the problem, namely the attempt to fill the smaller jug or the larger jug first. We also discuss how to implement this algorithm in Excel and visualize the generated outputs by means of staircase diagrams. Some basic properties of the measurable amounts by the jugs will also be described, together with some examples.

Crane Lifting Path Planning (CLPP) is an important task, especially in congested construction sites. This activity becomes extremely complex since, as the project advances, new (and sometimes unpredicted) constraints may occur. These constraints force lift engineers to explore the possibility of alternative paths for the objects still lobe moved. Under severe time constraints, manual analysis of such paths is practically impossible, which makes it necessary to rely on computer implementations in order to avoid project delays. From a mathematical standpoint, if the crane payload trajectory is to be defined analytically, the polar coordinate system,(r, theta), is naturally the most suitable. As a result, this paper proposes an algorithm for CLPP in which the path is represented as a piece-wise continuous function where each portion is defined either by constant radius (rotation of the load) or a constant angle (translation of the load). In other words, rather than forcing a crane to adapt to unnatural rectilinear trajectories as obtained by traditional path searching procedures, it is the trajectory that is adapted to the crane motion. In fact, even though (mathematically) a precise balance between the rates of rotation and translation of the jib (or boom) will make the payload follow any continuous path (regardless of its complexity), the coupling between the rotations and translations increases the difficulty of the lifting activity. However, a crane lifting path in which these motions are uncoupled will lead to less stringent requirements in terms of controlling the balance between rotations and translations. Modular construction technology has been used in building construction for decades, having been widely utilized on sites with high traffic volume, restricted accessibility/storage, or business operations which cannot be interrupted by long construction time. A key challenge in this method of construction lies in planning and executing lifts within a short timeframe. In this regard, proper crane selection and site layout optimization can significantly increase productivity and shorten the lifting schedule. This paper thus proposes a methodology for the crane selection process and introduces mathematical algorithms to assess the construction of multi-lift operations. The modular lift process is divided into three stages: crane load and capacity check, crane location, and boom and superlift clearance. Each stage's parameters are introduced, analyzed, and graphically explained. The methodology logic is supported by a generalized mathematical algorithm and is applied and tested on a case study involving the construction of five three-storey dormitories in 10 working days for Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Accuracy of spot detection and quantification plays a critical role in the analysis of ELISPOT data. Differences in staining intensities of spots and their morphological variations make it difficult developing a reliable software application. We have developed an image recognition method allowing for the automatic detection of round objects (spots) on ELISPOT images independently of the registration conditions. The emphasis is done on objects of elliptical shape which is typical for a wide range of spots that can be analyzed by both monochrome and a dual-color version of our software. There are four typical layout types for the subsea production system. These include single well tie back, the daisy chain, the template manifold and the cluster manifold. In the early development phase, an appropriate layout type needs to be selected. The layout design of the subsea production system is based on the data of oil and gas fields. Due to many advantages, such as less initial investment, being installed in advance, flexibility for development schedule and so on, the cluster manifold is becoming more popular and has been applied extensively in the layout of deepwater subsea production systems. In this layout type, the number and locations of cluster manifolds, and the connection types between subsea production facilities have a direct effect on the safety, flexibility and cost of the target deepwater oil and gas fields. Hence, how to design the optimal layout of the cluster manifold is of key importance. This paper will focus on the cluster manifold layout by the math means programmed using C++. For any given subsea well and the floating production system, the basic layout of the cluster manifold with the lowest cost can be obtained based on the assumptions, including the number, locations and cost of the jumpers, PLETS and flowlines. This mathematical method can reduce subjective bias from the engineers and provide a more scientific reference for obtaining the optimal cluster manifold layout.
