The problem of determining an optimal trajectory for an autonomous mobile robot in an environment with obstacles is considered. The Leapfrog approach is used to solve the ensuing system of equations derived from the first-order optimality conditions of the Pontryagin's Minimum Principle. A comparison is made between a case in which the classical newton Method and the modifiednewton Method are used in the shooting method for solving the two-point boundary value problem in the inner loop of the Leapfrog algorithm. It can be observed that with this modification there is an improvement in the convergence rate of the Leapfrog algorithm in general.

In a multi-user direct sequence code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) system. retrieval of transmitted signals with a conventional receiver is difficult when there is chip asynchronism. multipath propagation and the associated near-far problem. Results presented shock that despite these problems an adaptive linear receiver based on a mixed cross correlation and constant modulus algorithm (CC-CMA) has the potential to retrieve all users simultaneously, Compared with the conventional CC-CMA algorithm. the proposed algorithm achieves faster convergence. Simulations support the improved convergence properties of the algorithm.

Zur L?sung eines solchen nichtlinearen Systems wird in dem vorliegenden Beitrag ein modifiziertes newton-Verfahren vorgestellt, das den Aufwand für Hochrechnungen verschiedener Mikrodaten um ca. 75% reduzieren konnte.
