In order to improve the probabilistic load flow calculation efficiency of monte-carlo simulation to meet the large-scale power system analysis and calculation time requirements, this paper introduced the coarse-grained parallel algorithm of probabilistic load flow calculation. This paper firstly introduces the probabilistic load flow calculation simulated by the monte-carlo method, then based on the Open MP(Open Multi-Processing, shared memory multi-threaded compiler directive) parallel programming model, focuses on the main problems existed when to parallel processing of the serial probabilistic load flow program and its parallelizing. Taking IEEE14, 30, 57, 118, 162, 300, 600 bus system for example, carried out 30000 times montecarloprobabilistic load flowparallelsimulation, results show that the coarse-grained parallelmonte-carlo simulation of probabilistic load flow calculation gained considerable speedup and parallel efficiency.
