Distributed power access has a significant impact on economy and security of incremental distribution network. In this paper, economy and security are taken as the optimization goal, the constraints such as power balance and voltage deviation are constructed, and the multi-objective programming model of distributed power supply access capacity is established considering the different output scenarios of distributed power supply, and the Pareto optimal solution set is obtained by using non-dominant sequencing genetic algorithm. The validity of the proposed method is verified based on the analysis of the IEEE33 node model.

This study develops a dynamic multi-objective programming (DMOP) approach to handle problems of optimization under conditions of uncertainty typified by multiple goals and dynamic subsystems. The proposed approach seamlessly integrates multi-objective programming, fuzzy set theory, and system dynamics tools to conduct optimal land use planning in dynamic and complex environmental systems. Based on the DMOP approach, this study constructs an interactive dynamic multi-objective programming model, investigates the connection between land use and future urban development, and incorporates the preferences of decision makers using a compromise index. A case study from Taiwan shows that the proposed modeling framework can accommodate more complete information, allowing improvements to be made in strategic planning for land use. Motivated by the challenges of seeking the optimal E-business based maintenance, repair and overhaul (E-MRO) service policy, simultaneously considering bilateral requirements of quality of service (QoS), this paper presents a mathematical model based on variable fuzzy recognition and multi-objective programming. Cloud model is utilized to quantify the information of bilateral requirements as the numerical values. Then, the comprehensive satisfaction of multiple attribute is calculated by using variable fuzzy recognition method. Based on bilateral satisfactions, a multi-objective programming model is formulated, where bilateral QoS satisfactions are modeled as objective functions. By using global criteria method, the multi-objective optimization is transformed to an equivalent single objective optimization, which can be solved by LINGO. Finally, the optimal E-MRO service policy satisfying bilateral requirements is obtained. A case study illustrated the feasibility and efficiency of the proposed model.

In order to restore ecological function of wetland, determine the exploitation plan of water resources reasonably and promote the sustainable development of ecological function in wetland, based on the exploitation and utilization situation as well as the planning objectives of Panjin Shuangtai estuary wetland, this essay focuses on discussing water demand of natural ecological system, water quality of agricultural irrigation and aquaculture, and residential water consumption in wetland. Using various areas of wetland as decision variables and aiming to restore the size of all areas back to that in 2000, this essay takes the view of system engineering as guidance, establishes multi-objective programming model for rational allocation of wetland resources, and makes it able to compare with the other three created configurations plans. Results show that only giving priority to the needs of ecological water consumption of wetland to achieve an efficient use of surrounding water resources can we make the recovery of this wetland better and faster, and therefore achieve a desired sustainable development of ecological function. This has an important significance in leading us to a sustainable development of ecological restoration and constructing a framework of coordinated use of water resources of wetland system.

Subway last train timetabling focuses more on train coordination to make passengers transfer smoothly. Aiming to find an optimal balanced timetabling, a multi-objectives programming model is proposed with speed profile control for finding the optimal train velocity on sections and train dwell time at stations. Our work makes two contributions. First, this paper analyzes train movements in a line and provides an energy flow transferring method. Second, based on the analysis of train velocity and energy flow, an optimization model, in which passenger satisfaction, train trip time and network energy consumption are model objectives, is brought into the last train timetabling. Finally, to obtain an approximately optimal scheduling strategy, an artificial intelligence algorithm is proposed in particular to effectively solve the proposed model. The results of numerical experiments demonstrate the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed method.

A corresponding focus on how to improve the performance of cloud computing is growing apace. It is a significant approach to allocate virtual machines (VMs) on a set of physical machines. Computing resources can be utilized effectively with the optimal distribution of the virtual machines among the physical machines. This study aims to establish the dynamic placement model of VMs by multi-objective programming for (1) minimizing energy consumption, (2) maximizing effectiveness of physical machine, and (3) minimizing the task waiting time. This paper utilized an Energy Flow Diagram to incorporate the energy supplies, conversion and final consumption for analyses. A multi-objective programming model was established to reduce the economic investment on the reduction of air pollution and carbon emission, and applied in a case study of Tianjin, one of the economic hubs of North China. The present status and the progress of the traditional risk study are summarized, and then the multi-objective programming of distribution is used to in order to analysis the urban shelter optimally. The multi-objective approach is introduced to study the problems of the escape of evacuation stadium disaster, and then a multi-objective programming model is changed into an integer programming model to complete the stationing issues of post-disaster hedge places. The post-disaster hedge places entity optimization model is established by legitimately using multi-objective programming method, and the four targets, minimization shelter points for escaping, the minimization cost of investment, the maximization numbers of escape refugees and the fastest rate of escaping (the shortest time for arriving at escaping asylum points), are selected out to makes the distribution achieve the desired goals.
