multi-input-multi-output (MIMO) technique is adapted to achieve high speed transmission in visible light communication (VLC) system. In MIMO VLC system, spatial modulation (SM) is employed to avoid inter-channel interference (ICI). However, the performance of SM MIMO indoor VLC system is restricted by the high channel response correlation. In this paper, we propose an angular diversity receiver approach for SM MIMO VLC system. By varying the receivers' normal vectors, the correlation of the channel transfer matrix is effectively reduced, which leads to 7 similar to 8dB signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) gains at BER level of 10(-3) compared to the conventional SM in MIMO VLC system. Additionally, the horizontal rotation and vertical shift invariance verified by the simulation results makes the proposed scheme more practical and easier to be implemented.

As a powerful way of realizing semi-supervised segmentation, the cross supervision method learns cross consistency based on independent ensemble models using abundant unlabeled images. In this work, we propose a novel cross supervision method, namely uncertainty-guided self cross supervision (USCS). To avoid multiplying the cost of computation resources caused by ensemble models, we first design a multi-input multi-output (MIMO) segmentation model which can generate multiple outputs with the shared model. The self cross supervision is imposed over the results from one MIMO model, heavily saving the cost of parameters and calculations. On the other hand, to further alleviate the large noise in pseudo labels caused by insufficient representation ability of the MIMO model, we employ uncertainty as guided information to encourage the model to focus on the high confident regions of pseudo labels and mitigate the effects of wrong pseudo labeling in self cross supervision, improving the performance of the segmentation model. Extensive experiments show that our method achieves state-of-the-art performance while saving 40.5% and 49.1% cost on parameters and calculations.

In this paper, the simplified DSP implementation of training sequence-based on Least Square (LS) channel estimation in MIMO-OFDM system was demonstrated. A proper design of the training sequence not only simplifies channel estimation, but also still obtains the best estimation performance. For the purpose of getting channel estimation algorithm to work in real time, some main approaches are carried out to speed up operation, saving memory and improving accuracy. Statistics on resource occupation and running time of such a scheme in TMSC6416 chip was given. While the implementation is applicable in B3G MlMO-OFDM system, which adopted 4 transmit antennas and 8 receive ones.

This paper investigates the physical-layer security attained by Receive Spatial Modulation (RSM) scheme against potential eavesdroppers. The impact of the involved parameters on the bit error rate (BER) at the legitimate receiver and the considered eavesdropper is shown and discussed. Moreover, a hybrid scheme is proposed in order to alleviate the impact of the channel estimation errors on the achievable BER at the legitimate receiver. The proposed scheme allows the transmitter to switch between RSM and the conventional SM based on the phase of the estimated channel coefficient. Simulation results reveal that the proposed scheme can achieve at least 3 dB SNR gain as compared to the RSM, while keeping the error rate at the eavesdropper within acceptable bound.

To achieve the integration of radar and communication in waveform, we design an integrated system combining multi-input multi-output (MIMO) radar with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) communication. In the system, each antenna transmits integrated waveform with different sub-frequency bands. The integrated waveform is a variation of traditional OFDM communication waveform. To completely utilize the array aperture and the entire signal bandwidth, a range and angle estimation method is proposed. First, the high resolution angle estimation is performed, and then the range estimation with high resolution is obtained. Theoretical analysis validates that the devised system can attain the radar and communication function simultaneously, and the proposed method has low computational complexity. Numerical results are presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In this study, a 4x4 MIMO antenna box design consisting of antenna designs by using planar metal (Aluminum) plate and substrate (FR-4) used traditionally is presented to be used in smart home white good applications. The antenna designs that make up the antenna box operate as dual-band in 2.4 and 5 GHz WLAN and the operating bands and resonance frequencies are verified by both simulation and measurement results. In the resonance frequencies at 2.4 and 5 GHz WLAN operating bands 80, 110, and 700, 600 MHz operating bandwidth and at these bands minimum 15, 20 and 30, 20 dB isolation values between antennas have been achieved in simulation, respectively. Also, important MIMO antenna parameters have been examined in the simulation environment;In the 2.4 and 5 GHz operating bands, the envelope correlation coefficient maximum 0.18, 0.2 and 0.01, 0.02, diversity gain as minimum 9.1, 8.95 and 9.9, 9.85 have been obtained between the same type antennas, respectively. © 2020 IEEE.

The performance of amplify-and-forward (AF) multi-input multi-output (MIMO) two way relaying networks (TWRNs) with multiple antenna selection scheme at the sources, while having single antenna selection at the relay node is investigated to maximize the effective signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) over flat Rayleigh fading channel. Both exact and asymptotic expressions for the sum outage probability are derived and verified through Monte Carlo simulation results. The diversity order of selection scheme is proven to be minimum of the number of antennas of the source with larger antennas and the product of the number of relay antennas with the number of antennas of the source having fewer antennas. It is shown that fewer antennas at the sources can be selected to reduce the complexity without a significant loss in performance with respect to full antenna usage, i.e., with respect to beamforming. Primary factors which affect optimum relay location are also determined.

In mid 90(s) researches of A. Paulraj\S. Kailath et al, E. Telatar and the historical research of G. Foschini\J. Gans "On Limits of Wireless Communications in a Fading Environment when Using multiple Antennas";instigated a new era in the modern wireless communication. The research of G. Foschini\J. Gans, led to what became defined as Space Time (ST) premise. Their study depicted mathematical models for optimizing spatial sharing of the physical link (channel capacity) through use of multi-element antenna MEA (space dimension). Use of space dimension opened new avenues to produce efficient coding and modulation techniques by exploring various combinations between spatial and the established time/frequency techniques. It has become a part of today's WCT necessities, that wireless designers acquire a profound understanding of this premise. This paper reviews the capacity limits in MEA channel, as expressed by G. Foschini\J. Gans and E. Telatar and the impact of their findings on succeeding developments in WCT field. The paper includes a brief description of two selected ST schemes;multi-input-multi-output with Orthogonal-Frequency-Division-multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) and a method to exploit the location diversity of multiple Antenna Sites (MAS) for spatial multiplexing "SFN-MAP-TDD-MIMO- OFDM technique". Finally, paper predicts and discusses the next probable development roots in WCT.

A comprehensive mathematical modeling and control design for an isolated multi-port DC/DC converter for photovoltaic (PV) generation systems is discussed in this paper. The adopted converter is a modified flyback converter consisting of three ports, namely, a photovoltaic (PV) module input port, a bi-directional battery port, and an isolated output port. The output port is receiving its demanded power without any interruption,while the power extracted from the PV module is maximized adopting a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) controller. Moreover, to improve the overall efficiency of the system, synchronous rectification switches are used on the secondary side of the isolation transformer. Set of simulations using MATLAB/Simulink are done to show the effectiveness of the proposed converter under different operating conditions.

A novel scheme based on detection is proposed for half-duplex two-way relay system in this paper. multi-input multi-output and network coding technique are applied in the relay. The proposed method employs detection in this system when the relay and two stations receive signal. Theoretical and simulative analyses of the protocol performance under the assumption of a binary symmetric relay channel model are carried out. The zero-forcing detection and maximum likelihood detection are respectively used. The simulation results show that the new scheme facilitates more reliable transmission and higher information transmission rate.
