Job shop scheduling problem is one of the hardest combinatorial optimization problems. Many approaches such as Genetic Algorithm, Particle Swarm optimization Algorithm and heuristic algorithm have been used to solve this problem. Unfortunately, those algorithms are easy to get a local optimal solution. In this paper, an Improved Bat Algorithm was proposed to solve job shop scheduling problem, it can effectively avoid premature convergence. Moreover, it can speed up the convergence and improves the ability to find global optimal solution. Compared with Bat Algorithm and Particles Swarm Algorithm, the simulation results show that the Improved Bat Algorithm is efficacious to minimize makespan and accurate to find the optimal solution.

Small batch customization becomes an important typical manufacturing model nowadays. Considering the limited machine and technic resource in small scale factory, it's crucial for them to schedule mutable producing task. By analyzing flexible job shop scheduling problem, setting up mathematical models and objective functions, the flexible job shop dynamic scheduling problems can be solved, under the conditions of provided constraint conditions. Based on the existed experience, the standard genetic algorithm was improved by designing a genetic operator that based on dynamic procedure encoding, reserving the optimal individual and meeting requirements of flexible job shop task scheduling. A simulation calculation was carried out by using the proposed algorithm, the results shows fast convergence and strong optimization ability.

Based on Game Theory and multi-objective optimization problems (MOP), Game optimization Theory (GOT) is discussed in this paper. optimization Stability Analysis (OSA), Distance Entropy multi-Objective Particle Swarm optimization (DEMPSO) and Fuzzy multi-weights Decision-making Method (FMW) are proposed as well. Game optimization Theory, which is a comprehensive system, could not only handle multi-objective optimization problems effectively, but also could offset the disadvantages of traditional optimization theories, such as lack of framework and the insufficient consideration of relevant elements. In this paper GOT is used for the first time in solving the distribution systems planning (DSP) issue by implementing distributed generation. The proposed model integrates costs, losses, and voltage index to achieve optimal size and site of distributed generation. The model allows minimizing total system costs, system power losses and maximizing voltage improvement. A detailed DSP example is used for verifying the effectiveness and reasonableness of GOT in this context.

Represent a new Weapon-Target Assignment (WTA) model of warship fleet as to the characteristic of the modern naval battle field and the battle modality. This model considers the WTA to a multi-objects optimization problem, and a Fast and Elitist Non-Dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm (FENSGA) is applied to resolve this model. The FENSGA can reach a set of wide-distributing, robust solution. One running of the FENSGA can reach a multi-Pareto solution, which the commander can select from. A simulation is given to prove the validity of this model and algorithm.

In order to resolve matching optimization between EPS and mechanical steering system of vehicle, the difference and rate between operating torque and ideal torque of steering wheel is set as the control target. Fuzzy controller would be adopted to change parameter of PD controller. Through these, real-time assistant voltage is dynamically adjusted and ideal assistant torque is gained;further operating torque of steering wheel, vehicle yaw rate and slip angle as performance indicators, selecting retarding mechanism parameter and PD controller as optimal objects, utilizing genetic algorithm, electric power assistant system (EPS) would be dynamically multi objects optimized;finally utilizing EPS testing system controller is online simulated and verified, test proves that fuzzy PD controller via multi objects optimization could effectively increase vehicles steering portability and stability.

The amend chord length parameterization was used to dispose different feasible point vectors of section area. The function of cubic parametric spline curve was used to depict the subsections of the section area curve. The work of designing a good section area curve was transformed to the work of selecting the best point vector under given constraints, in which the objects were minimum deform energy, the best length of parallel middle body, the best position of parallel middle body, the best longitudinal prismatic coefficient C-p of the ship, and the best vertical position of buoyancy center. Ant colony optimization was applied to design and optimize the objective curve, and the niche mechanism was used to enhance the ability of parametric points to rectify in narrow scope. According to the principal dimensions of a certain ship, a new section area curve was designed based on the proposed method in this paper, and it was compared to the original one. The final result showed that the new method proposed in this paper was feasible to design new section area curve of ship without any mother curve.

The basic functions of public traffic terminals are distributing passengers to different traffic districts in order to adjust traffic flow. Public traffic terminals locating problem, as a multi-objective optimal decision problem, has important significance to ease the stress of the road and lead traffic flow. In this paper, a dynamic traffic districts partition based public traffic terminals locating model with multi-objective was presented, and the solving algorithm was described in detail. A calculating example is performed and the results show that proposed model and algorithm are practical and effective.
