The purpose of this paper is to generalize the vector variational-type inequalities, formulated by Kim [J. Appl. Math. Comput. 16 (2004) 279-287], by setting the norms into Minty and Stampacchia forms. We also demonstrate the relationships between these generalized inequalities and multiobjective variational problems, by using the notions of strongly convex functionals. The theoretical developments are illustrated through numerical examples.

In this paper we move forward in the study of duality and efficiency in multiobjective variational problems. We introduce new classes of pseudoinvex functions, and prove that not only it is a sufficient condition to establish duality results, but it is also necessary. Moreover, these functions are characterized in order that all Kuhn-Tucker or Fritz John points are efficient solutions. Recent papers are improved. We provide an example to show this improvement and illustrate these classes of functions and results. (C) 2009 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved,

In this paper, we use the modified objective function method for a class of nonconvex multiobjective variational problems involving univex functions. Under univexity hypotheses, we prove the equivalence between an (weakly) efficient solution of the considered multiobjective variational problem and an (weakly) efficient solution of the associated modified multiobjective variational problem constructed in the modified objective function method.
