In this study, we present a control platform used for radiotherapy services. Cancer treatment field concerns also Chemotherapy, Surgery and Other medical means but it didn't constitute the object of this survey. The Cancer is an enormous and growing global public health problem. The majority of cancers are treated in radiotherapy (or radiation oncology) services. The strategies for treatment management and terminal cure must be established in a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach for a total cancer care program. The system used for this work in a radiotherapy service consists of a set of 5 personnel computers (PC's), one PC server, 3 linear accelerators (VARIAN model) and 2 scanner simulators (VARIAN and General Electric) located in five cure rooms. Currently, the problem of the quality services and the accidents in radiotherapy services in the world is not solved. This system is used in order to improve the quality services and to increase the medical care. Its main purpose is to avoid mistake's treatment which could kill patients. Accidents occur till now even in developed countries (USA, France, England, etc). This project is in its first step. Some results are obtained and described in this study. The PC's are put in a network and three of them are used to control the check-list of the apparatus (linear accelerators). One special PC (the server) is used as a data server in order to store all data of the system like the check-list of the devices, the temperature and the moisture data and the physicians and patients' management.

A factory safety monitoring system based on wireless sensor network, Zigbee, is proposed and constructed in the work. With the function of automatically monitoring of gas and smoke happening in factory and converting into image then to transmit to personal and phone call to security guiders for emergency treatment. The constructional system is able to authentically uplift the leveling of safety protection and significantly reduce the loss of human life and property. Consequently, one believes that this Zigbee-based system used for wireless messages transmission of abnormal cases coming in factory for safety monitoring can certainly provide a solution advangtable to achieve protection of lives and property.

Traditional distribution of programming problems seems to create dissatisfaction among students. To overcome this problem, complexity measurement of programming problems is necessary. Although software is the outcome of human ingenious activity, cognitive informatics plays a significant role in understanding its ultimate characteristics. In this article, we have proposed a software complexity measurement algorithm based on cognitive weight of basic control structure that shrink the limitations of existing measures. Cognitive weight concept of any basic control structure are morally based on the rational capacity of Human Brain. According to cognitive data, we have developed a new software tool using Java Standard Edition and mysql to measure the cognitive complexity by following our developed algorithm. This software is structured and developed based on the outcome of our research data which is capable of determining the complexity value of several programming languages. This will assist the instructors allocating the problems among the learners by preserving the equivalent level of difficulty. Therefore, the developed complexity measurement tool will ensure the students to get problems with identical difficulty level for assessment.

Navigating a large library can be an overwhelming task for many users. The challenge of locating specific books often results in wasted time and diminished user experience. This work introduces an interactive robotic system to assist library users in borrowing and returning books. The system utilizes facial recognition technology to identify and greet users upon entry into its detection range. For book borrowing, a speech recognition algorithm queries users about the books' titles they wish to borrow. It then accesses a database modeled to mimic the University of Detroit Mercy Library database. Subsequently, the robot guides users to retrieve the requested books from their corresponding bookshelves on the library map using the shortest possible path. After completing the retrieving task, the robot autonomously returns to its initial greeting position within the library. For book returns, a QR code algorithm enables users to scan the QR code on the book cover in front of the robot's camera. The borrowing and returning procedures have been tested in real-time under various scenarios to ensure reliability and effectiveness. Furthermore, an interactive library website has been developed to assist users in checking the availability and precise location of books online. This website features distinct login privileges for students and administrators, facilitating access to essential library information and services.

As the complexity of the launching vehicle increases, using fault diagnosis method to improve reliability becomes more and more important. eBR (case-based reasoning) method is frequently used in prognostic and health management systems. The launching vehicle system has many subsystems. In order to apply eBR method to these various subsystems, a eBR system based on Java and mysql database is designed in this paper. The principle and process of modular structure is discussed, and case base database based on mysql is designed. The system is developed in the Java language according to three layer model. It can be used for embedded application. Two data sets from UCI database are used to test module function. Test result shows validation of the system.

Tracking and monitoring the applications run on the NERSC super computers is an important endeavor central to understanding NERSC workloads, providing targeted application support, and predicting future software needs. Annually and upon request, we report to our stakeholder, the Department of Energy (DOE), how computing cycles are split between applications, repositories (projects), DOE offices, and Science Categories. In the past, generating the application usage report was a time consuming process and required much duplication of work from year to year. The results yielded were not extensible to new date ranges nor readily available to curious developers who wanted to see how their programs were being used and how that use compared to the use of other programs over time. This work aimed to streamline the application usage data retrieval and presentation process and remedy these inconveniences. Our work has made it possible for anyone on the web to view a NERSC application usage report for any date range of interest. The website we created can generate a machine time breakdown by applications, repositories, DOE Offices, or Science Categories for any given time period in less than 15 seconds.

For currently existed problems and difficulties during the small and medium enterprises use EPC (Electronic Product Code) ALE (Application Level Events) specification to achieved middleware, based on the analysis of principle of EPC Middleware, an improved design method for EPC middleware is presented. This method combines the powerful function of mysql database, uses database to connect reader-writer with upper application system, instead of development of ALE application program interface to achieve a middleware with general function. This structure is simple and easy to implement and maintain. Under this structure, different types of reader-writers added can be configured conveniently and the expandability of the system is improved.

Web portals are often designed to provide access to information from diverse sources in a uniform manner. This paper presents the development of a specialized portal designed to be used by graduating students to undertake clearance processes from the different departments after their studies in the university. Traditional Clearance forms are provided by university institutions to graduating students, which have to be taken in hard copy to the different offices for signing and when duly signed, confirms that the student has fulfilled all requirements and is not indebted to any of the departments or units that the student was associated with within the institution. This approach has been found to be time consuming as the students have to physically visit each office. The development of a portal based approach provides portal access to the authorized officers to access the students' clearance page and clear the student without the student needing to visit the officer. This system is configured to send email reminders and is also interfaced with the GSM-SMS system to send alerts to both the officer required to do the clearance and the student. The portal was developed using the HTML and PHP packages while the database was implemented using the mysql database package.

The sensor acquisition system of sonde is to complete accurate data acquisition through efficient acquisition mechanism and effective personnel management technology, and through the cooperation of several modules such as software control thermostat, sensor automatic controller, serial port server and self-made sensor detection equipment. Under the background of global integration, a multi-threaded acquisition mechanism is designed to meet the requirements of simultaneous calibration of temperature, humidity and pressure sensors, aiming at the need of multi-type and multi-quantity sensor calibration equipment at the same time. The system adopts the current popular B/S mode and integrated development with SSM framework. B/S mode is browser-to-server mode, and SSM framework refers to the synthesis of Spring, SpringMVC and Mybatis, which can be used to build flexible and easy to expand multi-layer Web applications. The front display page USES javaScript, HTML, JSP and other technologies to provide users with humanized interactive services. The system has complete functions, is efficient and convenient for data collection of sonde sensors.

Collection search engine especially for theses and dissertations in Universitas Indonesia's library Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) website was considered to be less effective and time-consuming as it rarely brings up a match result. This study aimed to develop a categorization system to support theses and dissertations search engine. To build the mentioned system, this study processed text derived from the abstract of each theses and dissertation using Self-organizing Map, one of the applications of clustering. The abstracts of each thesis and dissertation of Universitas Indonesia in 2005-2015 were processed and this study found 139 categories that can represent theses and dissertations of Universitas Indonesia. mysql was employed to build the proposed categorization system in the database, while PHP programming was used to create a categorization program which will be integrated into the online catalog. By using this categorization system, data collection became more centralized and structured. Data storage is also becoming more efficient and effective so that information is provided more quickly, easily, and accurately.
