This study investigates the use of the continuously adaptive mean shift (CamShift) algorithm in high-speed vision extraction. Videos of a high-speed target are captured with a high-speed camera. The displacement of the target is extracted from the videos using the CamShift algorithm. The CamShift algorithm is then compared with the normalized cross correlation algorithm and other algorithms in terms of accuracy and rapidity. Simulation and test results indicate that the CamShift algorithm is better than other algorithms in terms of the displacement extraction of high-frequency vibration. The CamShift algorithm also offers numerous advantages, including real time, high efficiency, high accuracy, and robustness.

Aiming at the problem that the existing gray-based template matching algorithm is not resistant to rotation and slow operation, combined with fast Fourier algorithm and image pyramid search strategy, a new fast matching algorithm for angle-adaptive grayscale templates was designed. Firstly, the image is preprocessed to reduce the noise interference during matching. Secondly, the multi-angle to-be-detected gallery is built by rotating the sub-image to be matched, which solves the problem of contour artifact caused by template rotation. Finally, the FFT-based ncc algorithm is used to measure the similarity. Combined with the image pyramid search strategy and the indented search step method, the computational complexity is reduced and the robustness is improved. And this algorithm is compared with the traditional anti-rotation algorithm during experiments. Experiments show that the proposed method achieves good results when the angle deviation is large and the image matching probability is low or mismatched.

Mechanical characteristic parameter of a circuit breaker (CB) is an important basis to evaluate its performance. Traditional testing methods involve installing complex sensors and cannot perform testing online. A non-touch testing method based on computer vision technology is proposed in this paper. During operation, we use a high-speed camera to capture image sequences, and then search for the target frame by frame using the normalized cross-correlation pyramid (ncc-P) algorithm. At the same time, the error caused by vibration displacement of the CB is corrected through the movement condition of the fixed part. Finally, the moving trail of the main shaft is constructed accurately and, furthermore, the mechanical characteristic parameter is calculated by the relationship between the main shaft and the CB contact. Experiment shows that the proposed method can test the mechanical characteristic parameter accurately and quickly. (c) 2018 Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan. The paper proposes a new methods which used in image matching Harris corner extraction and corner matching. On the basis of the original Harris algorithm, the efficiency of extracting corners is improved by reducing the number of computing the corner response value. Then the ncc algorithm is used to match the extracted corners, and the matching accuracy is improved by choosing the threshold(auto correlation coefficient). The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm reduces the time of corner extraction, and is superior to the traditional Harris corner extraction method. Moreover, when matching the two images with ncc matching algorithm, the mismatching is reduced. Finally, the Ransac algorithm is used to remove the false matches.

The aim of ncc algorithm is slow and does not have a real-time. An improved ncc algorithm through multi-valued by differential summation and template matching methods was proposed in this paper to resolve the real-time problem in both complicated background and target. It enhances the computing speed and adaptive performance. The experiment results in different environments demonstrated the validity and real-time of the proposed method.
