Wireless communications using light waves are called visible light communication. A technique called Physical-layer network coding allows several users to communicate simultaneously over the same channel in a distributed spacetime coding scheme. Herein, we report a new PNC-VLC one-to-many scheme using physical-layer network coding in VLC system for enhancing throughput by boosting data transmission at relay nodes. We develop an integrated PNC-VLC framework including physical-layer signal processing algorithms and medium access control approaches. Our proposed technique is then modelled mathematically and compared with some of the VLC and PNC-VLC schemes under various channel conditions and scenarios. Our investigation revealed that our proposed technique performed better than traditional PNC schemes in achieving better Bit Error Rate performance in different channel conditions.

network coding has been extensively studied and implemented in Wi-Fi sensor networks (WSNs) as a way of growing data throughput and improving statistics reliability. The primary blessings of using community coding in WSNs are extensively multiplied throughput, improved reliability, easy control over end-to-cease conversation, and the possibility of having multiple paths for the propagation of facts. With these benefits, using network coding in WSNs can notably increase conversation efficiency and reduce strength intake for transmissions. This paper aims to evaluate the effect of network coding on WSNs, thinking about the overall performance of the network in phrases of throughput and community lifetime. A number of instances are tested, which will correctly take a look at the consequences of using network coding in WSNs using a network simulation device. The simulation consequences illustrate that the usage of network coding can enhance the overall throughput on the grounds that network-coded packets are higher utilized because of the truth that they’re propagated through a couple of paths within the community. Additionally, the network lifetime is stepped forward because the common power intake for transmissions is decreased, for the reason that packets are dispatched best as soon as, without retransmissions. The simulation results display the potential blessings of using community coding in WSNs.

In this paper, we develop an accurate closed-form analytic expression of the outage probability for each source-destination (S-D) pair in the two S-D pairs two relays wireless network, where cooperative network coding is applied over Nakagami-m fading channels. For different values of the shape parameter m, our analytic relation is validated with Monte-Carlo simulations of the outage probability using the overall equivalent signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) within each source-destination pair. The outage probability is also provided for the extended versions of the network consisting of multiple relays and multiple S-D pairs. Furthermore, we investigate the role of varying the fading factor (m values) on different links in the end-to-end outage probability performance, which yields interesting results that may be crucial for relay selection and power allocation procedures. Moreover, we derive the diversity order for the generalized extended version of cooperative network coded wireless networks.

Physical-layer network coding (PNC) was introduced into wireless communication systems to improve system performance metrics such as error rates. The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) utilized the PNC concept to communicate robots together and computer applications with high data rates, low latency, and full diversity. A two-way relay network (TWRN) is a basic implementation of PNC in research. This paper provides a performance analysis of TWRN-PNC for IIOT applications over a Rayleigh fading channel employing high-order modulation. The theoretical framework of the proposed model is derived in closed form for the uplink and downlink phases. Additionally, the maximum likelihood (ML) and Latin square (LS) methods are considered for the mapping of superimposed signals to achieve the denoising-and-forward (DNF) relaying protocol in PNC. Theoretical and simulation results of average symbol error rate probability are demonstrated for both multiple access and end-to-end error, using square-quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM), 4-QAM, and 16-QAM modulation schemes, respectively, and simulated uplink throughput at the relay. The positive results are obtained in both simulation and exact results of high-order modulation using Monte Carlo simulation and reported the effectiveness of the approach across varying modulation levels. Throughput is approximately double that of traditional network links.

This paper investigates the information freshness of joint status updates, quantified by the age of collection (AoC), in uplink coordinated direct and relay transmission (CDRT). In an uplink CDRT setup, a direct sensor communicates directly with the destination, while a relay-aided sensor relies on a decode-and-forward relay. The update packet of each sensor contains partial information about a common observation target. The AoC measures the time elapsed since the generation of the latest set of update packets received at the destination. Hence, unlike the age of information (AoI) metric, the AoC decreases only when all update packets from multiple sources for a common observation are collected (i.e., a successful joint update). When simultaneous transmissions from the direct and relay-aided sensors cause packet collisions at the relay, conventional multiuser decoding (MUD) is usually used to decode native packets explicitly from the superimposed signals. Nevertheless, MUD does not work well when the signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs) of different sensors are (nearly) equal. To this end, this paper puts forth a physical-layer network coding (PNC)-aided CDRT scheme for joint information updating, utilizing both MUD and PNC decoders. The PNC decoder decodes superimposed signals into network-coded packets, particularly effective when the SNRs of different sensors are close. We design an automatic repeat request (ARQ) protocol tailored to low AoC and study how network-coded packets can be utilized to reduce the AoC of uplink CDRT, where the closed-form peak AoC formula is derived. We evaluate the PNC-aided CDRT scheme using software-defined radios. Experimental results show that our PNC-aided CDRT scheme significantly reduces the average peak AoC under various SNR conditions.

This research explores how fuzzy logic-based clustering and network coding work together to improve energy efficiency in Wireless Sensor networks (WSNs), The study investigates the use of fuzzy logic to enhance cluster head selection based on node energy levels, closeness, and density, resulting in enhanced communication efficiency and decreased energy usage. The study also investigates the capacity of network coding to improve data transmission efficiency and save energy. By conducting thorough simulations on the NS2 platform, the effects of various tactics on the network's operational lifespan and energy consumption patterns are assessed individually and in combination. The results show notable enhancements in network durability and energy conservation through the integration of various methods. This study enhances the theoretical comprehension of energy-saving mechanisms in Wireless Sensor networks (WSNs) and offers significant perspectives for creating more resilient and energy-efficient sensor networks.

network coding is an emerging generation that offers a brand new technique to increase the performance of facts transmission in Wi-Fi networks. Community coding is the technique of encoding facts in such a manner that two or extra nodes can cooperate to create an unmarried, optimized statistics transmission. This generation is being explored to be used in WiFi networks to enhance throughput and balance. However, there are substantial security worries that ought to be addressed with a purpose to keep networks secure. The primary trouble with network coding is that it will increase the complexity of protection protocols. Because of the truth, the transmission of facts is being win-changed, and it turns into win-difficult to perceive malicious packets. Different protection problems result from the possibility of a malicious node tampering with community coding messages or intercepting them before they reach their holiday spot. This will result in a denial of provider assault or may also want to enable an attacker to manage the community. To deal with those security problems, researchers have proposed using diverse encryption strategies, collectively with symmetric-key cryptography or virtual signatures. These strategies should defend transmitted facts from malicious nodes while keeping the shape of network coding. Additionally, getting access to govern strategies can be employed to make sure that the most effective trusted nodes are allowed to alter messages or get entry to other resources in the community.

This paper presents a novel Selective Recoding Random Linear network coding (SR-RLNC), enhancing traditional RLN C by introducing selective recoding at intermediate nodes, triggered only upon packet loss detection. Informed by packet sequence tracking, this strategy intelligently determines when to bypass recoding, thus minimizing unnecessary computational work and delays. Performance metrics-encoding and decoding delays, and overall latency-are meticulously tracked, revealing SR-RLNC's superior efficiency. The comparative analysis demon-strates that SR-RLNC outperforms traditional RLNC, with a significant reduction in encoding delay (16.9 ms vs. 20.8 ms) and overall latency (18.6 ms vs. 22.5 ms), suggesting its potential as a more effective solution for high-speed, dynamic network environments.

As the foundation of network communication, routing protocols have become one of the critical technologies for the development of marine resources and marine military. However, due to the characteristics of underwater Ad hoc networks, such as long delay, narrow bandwidth and high bit error rate, the data transmission ability of traditional routing protocol is poor. In this paper, with the help of the idea of coding-aware routing, using network coding techniques, a coding-aware multipath routing protocol BMCAR(Balanced Load Matching Rate Aware Routing) with a balanced load matching rate based on network coding suitable for underwater environments is designed, and the BMCAR routing protocol actively explores and utilizes potential coding opportunities in the network during route discovery. A new routing metric BMCRM(Balanced Load Matching Rate-coding Aware Routing Metric)is designed as the routing criterion. BMCAR Routing Protocol makes the coding opportunity more accurate and further increases the throughput of the network. It makes the transmission more reliable and more practical.

Novel community coding schemes for wirelessly added media streams have come to be a more and more crucial study vicinity due to the heterogeneous community statistics transport architecture of subsequent-era Wi-Fi systems. This paper presents an evaluation of numerous emerging network coding schemes and their functionality to deal with media streams in the constraints of Wi-Fi networks. Via simulations and evaluation, the answer to network coding is to noticeably improve the quality of the provider by enhancing the fee of transport, throughput, and excellent service. Moreover, this evaluation demonstrates the effectiveness of network coding schemes in getting rid of redundant community factors and growing the overall efficiency of the gadget. Sooner or later, this evaluation highlights the vital position of network coding in the efficient delivery of media streams over wireless networks.
