The proliferation of geospatial applications has tremendously increased the variety, velocity, and volume of spatial data that data stores have to manage. Traditional relational databases reveal limitations in handling such big geospatial data, mainly due to their rigid schema requirements and limited scalability. Numerous nosql databases have emerged and actively serve as alternative data stores for big spatial data. Benchmarks play a crucial role in evaluating nosql databases and provide decision-makers with trustworthy information to choose the most suitable data store for applications. In this study, we present a framework to evaluate the performance and scalability of geospatial nosql databases, called GeoYCSB. We extend YCSB, a de facto benchmark framework for nosql systems, by integrating new components to its design architecture and also by implementing geospatial workloads. We use GeoYCSB to evaluate two leading document stores, MongoDB and Couchbase, which support geospatial queries. GeoYCSB is extensible and can be used to evaluate any nosql databases for geospatial workloads, provided they support spatial queries.

Now a days, students are under a lot of stress due to social issues and schoolwork. Additionally, they use smart devices excessively, which negatively impacts their mental health. an online application that allows users to actively interact with the system to get recommendations and insights specific to their level of stress. This ground-breaking fusion establishes the foundation for an approachable and proactive stress-reduction solution. This project aims to produce a novel stress analysis tool by integrating nosql databases with OpenAI's superior natural language processing, specifically the GPT-3.5 model. Real-time stress analysis is made possible by the system's ability to collect extensive stress-related data from users by utilizing OpenAI's superior language understanding skills. Scalability is enhanced by the incorporation of nosql databases, which guarantee effective unstructured data retrieval and storage.

Today, Big Data is the main topic of discussion everywhere due to its huge popularity as its getting generated in a huge volume in every second. It is getting huge consideration and gratitude because of its wide research area and application scenarios. Large scale, bulky, quick changes, huge growth in data is generally stated as Big Data. Data that is obtained from a wide variety of sources are usually in a format of structured, unstructured or semi-structured data. Many times big data is collected from multiple application sources, so there is a presence of structural heterogeneity. This problem of structural heterogeneity is one of the major challenges for researchers around the world and can be overcome using big data Integration. As big data refers to the data in large volumes, available in different formats and generated at extraordinary speed so to capture, process and analyze this kind of data becomes difficult using traditional data processing tools. These difficulties can be overcome using big data management tools and techniques. Big Data Integration and Management are very crucial, revolutionizing the industries and has many applications in all sectors of human life. This paper discusses brief information about big data, its history, integration issues, and available management methods and tools.

When nosql database systems are used in an agile software development setting, data model changes occur frequently and thus, data is routinely stored in different versions. This leads to an overhead affecting the software development and in particular, the management of data accesses. In this context, different data migration strategies exist, which are characterized by certain advantages and disadvantages. Using exactly that strategy whose characteristics match the according migration scenario, depends on the query workload, the changes in the data model caused by schema evolution, and the requirements for the application in terms of migration costs and latency during data accesses. In this paper we present a methodology of selfadapting data migration, which automatically adjusts migration strategies and its parameters accordingly, thereby supporting the agile software development.

As e-Health systems become more widely used starting with COVID-19 pandemic, the amount of data they collect increases significantly. The volume, diversity, and unpredictability of patient data necessitate distinct storage types for long-term preservation. As a result, one of the primary problems with e-Health systems is making patient data accessible and combined into different styles so that AI algorithms can analyze it. This paper presents an improved persistence system that utilizes nosql databases such as Couchbase. The aim of this system is to improve overall system performance while reducing security risks associated with data availability, confidentiality, and integrity.

Today, in the digital moment, when the presence of the Internet in daily life is all around, management of data has become an indispensable part in any kind of organization irrespective of sector. Large-scale data applications are remarkably influenced in prosperity by the choice between SQL and nosql databases. This research deals with issues regarding which among database types- SQL or nosql-is more effective in Big Data environments. The paper consequently benchmarks the key performance indicators such as storage capacity, query execution time, and scalability through a systematic review of literature. SQL databases have been found to be robust with respect to structured data and complex queries, maintaining transactional integrity and consistency. They are, however, limited in scalability and flexibility when handling unstructured data, thus less suitable for specific big data applications. On the other hand, nosql databases support availability and flexibility quite well, handle unstructured data in very large volumes, and give support for a variety of data models. This study concludes that organizations have to align database choice with the type of data an organization deals with and scalability requirements for optimal performance in Big Data applications.

For over four decades, Relational database management systems RDBMS have been the primary model for data storage, retrieval and management. However, due to the continuous information growth in current organizations and the increasing needs for scalability and performance, specially while handling a very huge amount of data that generated by various new generation real time applications or social networking sites that could be unstructured or semi-structured data, poses a set of challenges to the existing RDBMS Vendors. Such challenges have created a need for adaptation alternative technologies in the field of data storage and manipulation. nosql technology is the alternative category of Database Management Systems that have been emerged as the solution to the ever-growing data requirements. In this paper, the advantages and the limitations of relational databases we will be presented. The nosql data model, types of nosql data stores, characteristics of each data store, advantages and disadvantages of nosql over RDBMS will also be discussed. The paper helps the interest users to take a review of the different database model solutions, which can serve as a base for selecting the proper database model that can satisfy their application requirements.

databases play an important role in Information and Communication Technologies and data has no significance unless it is converted into meaningful information. Relational or SQL disk databases where data is structured in tables have served many applications over the years. The increasing need for faster data access in real-time systems has changed the traditional Disk-based database into an In-memory database where data is manipulated and stored directly in the main memory thereby reducing disk input/output operations. With the emergence of IoT and Big Data, nosql databases now represent an alternative to traditional relational databases in terms of simpler design and faster operations on large data volumes. This work compares three types of databases namely Relational On-disk, Relational In-memory and nosql On-disk/In-memory in terms of Insert, Select, Update and Delete operations together with Indexes, Stored procedures and Triggers in an IoT environment. A plant environment has been monitored in real-time using sensor data such as Temperature/Humidy, Moisture and Water level. Data was stored in different databases and the time taken to execute various operations were recorded. Experiments using the water level parameter demonstrate there is no specific database that provides the best performance for all data operations.

databases are a fundamental part of the systems of organizations, companies or enterprises, therefore, the importance of a suitable selection of the database manager to use implies the correct functioning of the system and a factor of business success. This work is focused on measuring the performance between SQL and nosql databases by executing several tests defined in different scenarios, which differ in the number of clients and the number of transactions that will increase in each scenario and also the definition of benchmarks for hardware such as CPU usage, disk I / O, memory and software such as, response time, number of operations successfully executed; which will allow a comparative analysis between SQL and nosql databases or what is known as database benchmarking, obtaining a clearer view of the behavior and consumption of resources of each database manager.

One of the most important considerations when selecting a database is how relational (SQL) and non-relational (nosql) data structures will interact. While all options are viable, consumers should take certain distinctions into account before choosing. Since SQL databases are vertically scalable, you can typically scale server components like CPU, RAM, or SSD. nosql databases, on the other hand, support horizontal scaling. As a result, you can increase the capacity of your nosql database by fragmenting (data partitioning), or by adding extra servers. Why, then, is it still challenging to choose the instance that is most appropriate for a given application and requires the least amount of runtime? Because data that will be conveyed via the internet uses a cloud in computer networks as a metaphor. To determine which model to utilize, it is required to conduct a comparison study of SQL-oriented database engines. SQL has a form created for another side of non-productive data and is offered in the form of ordered data, but nosql databases are horizontally expandable. Workload management solutions are therefore also in charge of automating organizational procedures, i.e., they carry out activities without requiring manual employee attendance. For businesses trying to implement continuous delivery methods and enhance the effectiveness of customer service delivery, they are unavoidable.
