In recent years, the development of small unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) has greatly promoted the development of UAV swarms. As multi-UAV arc widely applied in more scenarios, the collision avoidance problems have attracted more attention. This paper discussed the basic problems of collision avoiding about multi-UAV, and sorted out the collision avoidance algorithms of multiple UAVs. We divide the UAV collision avoidance algorithm into two parts, one is cooperative algorithm and another is non-cooperative algorithm. Then, according to the current algorithm development, the development trend of multi-UAV collision avoidance research in the further are discussed.
