Design of robust nonfragile H∞ controller for uncertain nonlinear polynomial systems

This paper is concerned with the robust H-infinity nonfragile controller design for a particular class of nonlinear systems, namely, the perturbed polynomial systems, which are subject to unstructured bounded uncertainties in both the system model and the control law. Combining the Lyapunov stability theory, properties of linear matrix inequality, and Kronecker product properties, a sufficient condition of robust H-infinity nonfragile control design is proposed. More specifically, we propose a robust H-infinity controller of nonlinear polynomial systems with additive unstructured uncertainties and variation in the control law itself that guarantee the stability and the attenuation of external perturbations. Two examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Leader-following Non-fragile Consensus Control of Fuzzy Multi-agent Fractional Order Interval Systems

The consensus control of fuzzy multi-agent fractional order interval systems (MA-FOISs) is proposed in this brief. Firstly, a new model of fuzzy MA-FOISs based on the non-fragile observer is presented. Then, by using the technologies of generalised matrix singular value decomposition (SVD) and linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), the sufficient conditions for determining the consensus of fuzzy MA-FOISs are given through the equivalence of the stability and the consensus of multi-agent systems (MASs). Moreover, when the actual system does not need to be described by the fuzzy set, the consensus conditions for the MA-FOISs are given. Finally, the validity of the results given are illustrated by the numerical example.

Finite-Time nonfragile Synchronization Control of Time-Varying Delays T-S Fuzzy Discrete Chaotic Network Systems With Deception Attacks

This article addresses the finite-time nonfragile synchronization control of time-varying delays T-S fuzzy discrete chaotic network systems(TSFDCNSs) with random deception attacks. Aiming at the security threats caused by network attacks in network system, a nonfragile feedback controller is designed considering random deception attacks. In order to reduce communication resource consumption effectively, an adaptive event triggering method is proposed based on adaptive threshold parameters. Under the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and linear matrix inequality, we derive sufficient conditions for the finite-time synchronization of TSFDCNSs. Finally, two examples are given to validate the proposed modes.

Event-Triggered Exponential Synchronization of nonfragile Neural Networks

Based on event-triggered mechanism, the exponential synchronization for a class of neural networks (NNs) with distributed and discrete delays under nonfragile controller is researched in this article. Firstly, whether the controller gain disturbance occurs or not is described by a random variable, which obeys the Bernoulli distribution. Secondly, the event-triggered mechanism is introduced into the exponential synchronization of NNs. Next, based on the characteristics of sawtooth structure, a new bilateral Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) is constructed, which involves more system information. Through the use of improved integral inequality, some sufficient conditions are achieved for the exponential stability of the synchronization error system. Then, a nonfragile controller is designed based on the decoupling technique. Finally, two examples are used to illustrate the validity and superiority of these results.

Further Studies on Sampled-Data Consensus of Multi-Agent Systems With Communication Delays

To lower the computational burden and weaken the impact of uncertainties of controllers on system stability, a novel nonfragile sampled-data control scheme is presented for multi-agent systems (MASs) with communication delays. A modified looped-functional, where some matrices are not required to be positive, is introduced by fully utilizing the state information of some intervals. Furthermore, based on the constructed Lyapunov functional, together with the free weighting matrix method, the improved sufficient conditions for consensus of the MASs are derived in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, two numerical simulations are used to illustrate the better performance of the proposed methods than other existing literature.

To reduce the influence of controller uncertainties and lower the computational burden of the system, a novel nonfragile sampled-data control scheme is proposed in this article for the Tagaki-Sugeno fuzzy system with time delay. First, an improved Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional is established with adjusted looped functional, which contains not only the current states, but the delayed states. Then, utilizing the Wirtinger inequality and improved single integral inequality, the new stability criteria are proposed with less conservativeness. By calculating the solution of linear matrix inequalities, the nonfragile controller parameters can be acquired. Furthermore, the sampled-data fuzzy controller leads to a good stable performance for the system, even under the possible gain fluctuations. Finally, three examples are given to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed control scheme.

In this article, we consider the distributed optimal consensus problem under nominal and nonfragile cases for a class of minimum-phase uncertain nonlinear systems with unity-relative degree and disturbances generated by an external autonomous system. The involved cost function is the sum of all local cost functions associated with each individual agent. Two different edge-based distributed adaptive algorithms utilizing the internal model principle are designed to solve the problem in a fully distributed manner. Graph theory, nonsmooth analysis, convex analysis, and the Lyapunov theory are employed to show that the proposed algorithms converge accurately to the optimal solution of the considered problem. Finally, an example involving the dynamics of a Lorenz-type system is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.

This paper focuses on the synchronization of reaction-diffusion complex dynamical networks with coupling delay. In order to reflect the uncertainties of the controller, the nonfragile problem is considered. Furthermore, we also take into account the dissipativity analysis problem, which contains the H-infinity performance and passivity performance in a unified framework. By utilizing the Lyapunov functional method, two sufficient delay-dependent conditions, which ensure the considered system is globally asymptotically synchronized onto the unforced node and strictly dissipative, are established in terms of linear matrix inequality. Finally, three numerical examples are employed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the design methods.

nonfragile stabilization for semi-Markovian switching systems with actuator saturation via improved dynamic event-triggered scheme

This article addresses the problem of stabilization and the H infinity performance for semi-Markovian systems with actuator saturation via dynamic event-triggered scheme. Due to actuator degradation and numerical round-off errors, nonfragile control is proposed. Meanwhile, the saturated nonlinearity is considered in the controller design process, which makes the controller design more practical. Furthermore, the improved event-triggered scheme is utilized for reducing transmitting unnecessary sampled data to the network and saving communication cost. By establishing appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional that depends on model information and using free-weighting matrix techniques, new sufficient conditions for ensuring the stabilization of the controlled systems are obtained. Then the gain matrices of the controller can be also designed. Finally, simulation examples are provided to verify that the results we get are effective.

In this paper, we address the consensus tracking problem for the multiagent system (MAS) based on a nonfragile memory sampled-data controller. Considering the effect of controller gain fluctuation and communication delay, a novel sampled-data control scheme with variable sampling interval is designed for each agent. By developing some new terms, an improved piecewise Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) is constructed to take full advantage of characteristic about real sampling pattern. Furthermore, some relaxed matrices constructed in the LKF are not necessarily positive definite. Making full use of the LKF and free-matrix-based integral inequality, some sufficient criteria are developed to ensure the consistency of the MAS. Then, by solving a group of linear matrix inequalities with the maximal sampling interval, the desired sampled-data control gain matrix is obtained. Finally, the numerical example of a 5-agent system is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach in this paper.
