The canonical proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control approach has been widely used in industrial application due to their simplicity and ease of use. However, its corresponding controller parameters are hard to be adjusted, especially for nonlinear systems. The optimization-based method provides a general framework to find optimal PID controller parameters;nevertheless, several disadvantages exist, for example, it is nontrivial to select an appropriate sample size and it is necessary to obtain the global optimal solution but the optimization problem is non-convex, making it hard to achieve. To alleviate the aforementioned limitations, a rolling MD control approach is proposed in this study, in which, at each rolling period, the PID controller parameters are updated using observable data, which can be classified to data-driven control method. The effectiveness of the proposed approach has been validated by experiments.

Superheated steam temperature control is essential to improve lifetime efficiency of thermal power *** this paper,the superheated steam temperature control was outsourced from DCS（distributed control system） to LABVIEW based DMC（dynamic matrix control） controller（an industrial WINDOWS computer）.The DMC controller communicated with DCS to realize real-time data exchange using MODBUS TCP protocol,and LABVIEW was used to programme the DMC algorithm.A ’tracing-switching-monitoring’ mechanism ensured the safe operation of the whole control *** control scheme was implemented on a 300 MW unit and plant test run was carried out,results showed that DMC control outran cascaded PID control in respect of dynamic characteristics and regulation *** outsourced DMC control scheme was proven to be effective,safe and reliable.

This article aims to propose a real-time compatible strategy for the energy management of a compression-ignition Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV), under pollutants emissions constraints. First, an offline method is applied in order to obtain a performance reference. Then, an online-oriented approach based on Model Predictive control (MPC) is described, and a projected gradient algorithm used to solve the successive optimal control problems is explicitly presented. Both approaches are compared through simulation and the results are validated through experimentation.

A new control scheme for flexible air-breathing hypersonic vehicle is designed in this paper based on non-singular fast terminal sliding mode control and nonlinear disturbance observer. The proposed control scheme is derived from basic back-stepping method, which is capable of handling the higher-order nonlinear system, and a novel terminal sliding mode control method is designed for the last step to promise the finite time convergence and improve the steady-state precision. Meanwhile, a command filter is used to avoid the explosion of complexity in traditional back-stepping method. To overcome inevitable uncertainties as well as cross couplings between flexible and rigid modes, NDO is introduced to estimate diverse uncertainties. Thus flexible modes and uncertainties can be suppressed simultaneously. The convergence of overall closed-loop system states is proved via Lyapunov analysis. Numerical simulations show the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed control strategy.

Extended state observer based control scheme for the A-EHPS with load pressure estimation

The accumulative electro-hydraulic power steering system (A-EHPS) is essentially an electro-hydraulic servo system with high parametric uncertainties and nonlinearities that are caused by the characteristics of the hydraulic system. The throttle structure in the steering gear and the on-way resistance increase the control difficulty of the plant. This paper reports the construction of a mathematical model that contains the throttle structure and the on-way resistance for the A-EHPS system. Furthermore, an extended state observer and a sliding mode controller are synthesized to estimate uncertain nonlinear components and improve the quality of control in the A-EHPS. The uncertain nonlinear parts contain important information on the high-pressure chamber's load pressure, which cannot be directly measured. That is, the proposed control scheme can be used to estimate steering resistance, which is essential for the top-layer control strategy. Simulations are performed to validate the control performance and the parameter design principle of the proposed extended state observer scheme. The scheme is then implemented in an actual system, and its robustness advantages over traditional controllers are verified.

Traditional Kalman filtering algorithm leads to diverge easily, which reduces the filtering accuracy and system real-time performance when the data from multi-sensor is mixed. Therefore, an improved adaptive filtering algorithm is presented. It uses the filtering convergence criterion on the basis of simplifying Sage-Husa filter. Through fusing the data from multi-sensor, more accurate information may be used in the algorithm. In addition, combined with the idea of the strong tracking filter, the system gain matrix is to be adjusted to improve the performance of the filter under the condition of the uncertain system model and strengthen the processing capacity for the mutation status. Finally, the improved algorithm is compared with the traditional Kalman filtering algorithm. Simulation and test results show that the improved adaptive filtering algorithm has better robustness and filtering effectiveness with the system model parameters mismatched and the real variable unknown noise.

This paper among a kind of adaptive control law with adaptived parameters for a class of nonlinearity systems which parameters are time varying and uncertain, to ensure the stability of i/o and the linearity of system. The system contains three following parts: first, a stable closed loop state predictor;second, the adaptive law which is used to estimate the uncertain parameters in the controlled device, and the error between controlled device and closed loop state predictor are proved to be stable under the Lyapunov stability;third, the control law which is varying with the estimated parameter, ensure the stability and linearity of system input to state predictor's output.

This paper presents an Adaptive Predictive control strategy based on Neural Networks for nonlinear systems. In order to train the Neural Network controller, an identification of the system is carried out by the Neural Network Identifier. This second Neural Network provides the training terms related to the nonlinear system dynamics. In this way it is possible to train the Neural Network controller online. The simulation results show a correct online adaptation of the NN controller and the validity of the proposed control strategy.
