This work presents a language extension to A+ that allows developers to conveniently handle external objects in A+ code. It discusses a set of object-oriented concepts and investigates their implications for the A+ language. For these new language elements, new symbols are added, and each of them represents basic operations (member access, member modification, type casting, and indexing) on objects. For each new operation the underlying mechanism is presented, and simple examples are provided showing their usage. Using these new operations, *** classes can be accessed and used from A+ programs without writing any additional code. The presented language extension in this paper is runtime agnostic and it could enable the interoperation of A+ not only with *** framework but with other object-oriented runtimes, too. Additionally this extension adds the basic mechanisms for implementing full object-oriented support for the A+ language in the future. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The researches at the NICA accelerator complex (JINR, Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Dubna) require efficient and fast software implementations of algorithms for modeling and reconstruction of the particle collision events. BmnRoot package developed for the BM@N experiment is based on the ROOT environment, Geant4 and the FairRoot object-oriented framework. BmnRoot includes tools for event simulation, reconstruction and data analysis modules. With the announcement of Geant4MT multithreading support in ROOT and FairRoot, the problem of modifying the BmnRoot code for multithreading simulation appeared. As a result, an event-driven parallelism model has been implemented for event simulation in BmnRoot. The stages of the performed work and the results of testing the implemented multithreaded version are presented. Copyright © 2021 for this paper by its authors. We propose a mechanism to raise the abstraction level of source-code analysis and robustly support multiple languages. Built on top of the LARA framework, it allows sharing language specifications between LARA source-to-source compilers, and enables the mapping of a virtual AST over the nodes of ASTs provided by different, unrelated parsers. We use this approach to create a language specification for object-oriented (OO) languages and add support for three different LARA compilers. We evaluate it by implementing a library of 18 software metrics using this language specification and apply the metrics to source code in four programming languages (C, C++, Java, and JavaScript). We compare the results with other tools to evaluate the approach. © 2021 Owner/Author.

Security is a significant issue in software systems. The initially secure design of a software system could be at risk of a refactoring transformation. Consequently, via a refactoring transformation, the software could be considered vulnerable, and the refactoring process can undergo security-aware refactoring. This work deals with three security approaches to assist programmers in refactoring their software systems while simultaneously sustaining or possibly improving the security of their software system. In addition, this work deals with security-aware refactoring at the design stage rather than refactoring that requires a full source code. The main aim of this work is to provide programmers with knowledge about secure refactoring processes to improve the long-term maintainability of the software system in a secure way while sustaining the external behavior of the system. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The shortest path algorithm is widely used to find the shortest path in terms of the total sum of edge weight between two nodes in a graph. The edge weights can be set to be any cost definition on any existing problem. Due to the current crisis in some countries, people cannot identify the best road to drive between cities. Therefore, this paper implements Dijkstra's Algorithm-based solution to provide the best path between Yemen cities. Three different factors are considered: the first is to identify the shortest path in terms of road safety, while the second is to identify the shortest path in terms of distance. The third factor is to identify the shortest path based on road quality. Those factors mainly aim to calculate the shortest path for the drivers, in general, to reach the desired destination while avoiding the poorly conditioned roads, including dangerous, long-distance, and impaired quality. However, this approach might not give the shortest path in terms of distance, but it meets the need to save many drivers' and passengers' lives by avoiding passing through conflict areas or bad roads that may damage their cars. To the best of our knowledge and literature, this is the first solution for Yemen's current road issue. We have used object-oriented programming to implement the proposed solution, and it can be enhanced and adopted in the future by a different country. © 2021 IEEE.

During an emergency situation, there is often confusion in information that can complicate disaster management efforts. For this reason, it is necessary to design an information system that can support emergency response operations. The purpose of designing this information system is to design a disaster management information system to strengthen emergency response operations quickly, precisely, and dynamically, and can be a decision supporter to facilitate emergency response operations. The system was developed using the waterfall method using the object-oriented programming (OOP) approach. The design of information systems uses the PHP programming language and uses MySQL as a database. Then the system that has been designed is verified and validated using the Black Box method. The results of the information system design can provide dynamically needed information so that it can assist in scheduling and allocating volunteers, verifying data from donors, making TRC reports, collecting data and refugee needs, and estimating the distance between posts and evacuation sites © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

There have been several PHP frameworks for developers to pick from in the latest years. Developers face problems choosing the most relevant frameworks and appropriate support functions to include in their project. For this reason, a clear understanding of the various frameworks is now becoming an important necessity for web developers. In this paper, we collected several research papers talking about different PHP frameworks, and we compared them with each other in several ways which are: Request per second, Memory usage, Response time and, Number of files using several PHP frameworks: Laravel, CakePHP, Codeigniter, symfony2, Phalcon, Symfony, and Yii. the Laravel outperforms other MVC framework in request per second, memory usage. On the other hand, phalcon outperforms other MVC frameworks in response time and number of files. © 2021 IEEE.

In the course of the work, the systems modeling the dispersion of pollution were considered, where, based on the theoretical analysis of their characteristics and properties, the "Calpuff"model was chosen, which is most suitable for modeling air quality in urban areas. As a calculation model of emissions near roads, the Russian "Methodology for determining emissions from motor vehicles for conducting summary calculations of urban air pollution"was chosen. Developed a process for the preparation of the data on pollution from road transport for the system modeling "Calpuff". In the high-level object-oriented language Python, a calculation module has been developed that performs the functions of storing, hourly averaging of pollution and generating the *** file of the "Calpuff"model. Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) are critical components of the Internet infrastructure that affect its performance, evolution, security and economy. In this work, we introduce a technique to improve the well-known TraIXroute tool with its ability to identify IXPs. TraIXroute is a tool written in python3. It always encounters problems during its installation by network administrators and researchers. This problem remains unchanged in the field of internet ixp measurement tools. Our paper aims to make a critical analysis of TraIXroute tool which has some malfunctions. Furthermore, our main objective is to implement an improved tool for detecting ixps on the traceroute path with ipv4 and ipv6. The tool will have options for Geolocation of ixps as well as ASs. Our tool is written in C# (C sharp) and python which are object oriented programming languages. © 2021 IEEE.
