At present, the application of stability limit of transmission interface mainly relies on manual input control platform and data maintenance, and intelligent identification and expression has not been realized yet. This paper proposes an object-oriented artificial intelligence identification and knowledgerepresentation for stability limit of power grid. First, classify and decompose the stability limit. Combining with object-orientedknowledge structure, establish the model of stable quota without monitoring condition and with monitoring condition under normal and maintenance mode. Finally, the method is used to instantiate knowledge expression of various stability limits.

Virtual Geographical Environment is a special instance of virtual environment, which pays more attention to the geographical spatio-temporal properties of all objects and to modeling and simulating macroscopical behaviors of intelligent objects within the geographical space. Modeling intelligent virtual agent is the key of making virtual geographical environment intelligent. object-oriented knowledge representation of virtual geographical space and cognitive mechanism based on composite structure of agent are proposed. The formation restoration method is an essential technique in geology. This paper studies the basic theories and essential techniques of formation restoration. Based on the practical geological exploration, the original borehole sample data are collected and processed. After being standardized they are used to establish the fact database. Based on analyzing the basic geology law, a hierarchy knowledge network of formation restoration is established. We adopt the objectorientedknowledgerepresentation, which package object properties, function, dynamic behaviors, domain knowledge and treatment into objects. The objects can get external information through the interface. And then they call the treatment to complete intelligent reasoning. Using the method based on knowledge we implement formation restoration. In order to confirm the practical result of this method, we test it using some sample mining data. The results show that the method is effective.

In the space mission planning system the traditional planners are unable to describe this knowledge so an object-oriented temporal knowledge representation method is proposed to model every activity as an object to describe the activity's duration start-time end-time and the temporal relations with other activities. The layered planning agent architecture is then designed for spacecraft autonomous operation and the functions of every component are given. A planning algorithm based on the temporal constraint satisfaction is built in detail using this knowledge representation and system architecture. The prototype of Deep Space Mission Autonomous Planning System is implemented. The results show that with the object-oriented temporal knowledge description method the space mission planning system can be used to describe simultaneous activities resource and temporal constraints and produce a complete plan for exploration mission quickly under complex constraints.

The integration of process design and process control can be built on top of their conceptual association and formalized by a process design methodology having controllability as an explicit performance criterion. In this paper a basis for this is outlined, describing process as control of phenomena for a purpose, and process control as the control of this controlling process, and emphasizing on the means for such control in both design and control; boundaries and interactions. An example illustrating how controllability issues are included in the early design decisions, and especially, how structural decisions are made on controllability-driven basis.

A knowledge-based simulation model editor for the dynamic process simulator DIVA allows flowsheet generation guided by object-oriented, hierarchically structured knowledge about process-units, and by rules ensuring the consistency of parameters and connections between process-units. A physical property interface helps the user to choose from various calculation methods offered by the simulator's library. Parameters for the substances at hand are retrieved from inhouse and commercially available physical property databases. The tight integration of facilities for experiment control and flowsheet animation will be the basis for future studies in knowledge-based process optimization and process control.
