A growing number of new technologies are used in test development. Among them, automatic test generation, a promising technology to improve the efficiency of unit testing, currently performs not satisfactory in practice. Test recommendation, like code recommendation, is another feasible technology for supporting efficient unit testing and gets increasing attention. In this paper, we develop a novel system, namely HomoTR, which implements online test recommendations by measuring the homology of two methods. If the new method under test shares homology with an existing method that has test cases, HomoTR will recommend the test cases to the new method. The preliminary experiments show that HomoTR can quickly and effectively recommend test cases to help the developers improve the testing efficiency. Besides, HomoTR has been integrated into the MoocTest platform successfully, so it can also execute the recommended test cases automatically and visualize the testing results (e.g., Branch Coverage) friendly to help developers understand the process of testing.

programming ability is the core ability for students in computer majors, but current training in programming ability lacks process observation and evaluation. Relying solely on a small number of tests is insufficient in evaluating students' performance. A system that tracks and evaluates the programming process is needed to estimate students' performance, effort, and emotional states. Teachers can improve courses, identify and assist students who encounter difficulties based on that system. This paper presents a web-based online programming Training Estimation System (OPTES) that provides an integrated environment for after-class programming assignments, which is designed to track and estimate the students' learning status continuously over a long period, e.g., a whole semester. Beyond normal functions like online Judge systems, OPTES collects and analyzes students' progress data, estimates students' emotional states based on machine learning technologies, and visualizes these data intuitively. Correlation analysis shows an evident correlation between progress data, emotional states, and performance. This system has been successfully deployed and evaluated empirically for two semesters, used by over 500 sophomores, which also received positive feedback from the teachers who use the system.

We implemented a survey with one learning group using the web-based tools and a control group working with a traditional setup based on editor and compiler. In a recent publication, we described the design and implementation of a web-based programming lab (ViPLab) targeted at undergraduate Engineering and Mathematics courses. This work provides a quantitative analysis of the user feedback, experience and learning success. The survey shows that web-based installations are as efficient as classical tools, while Windows users prefer the web-based chain over the editor/compiler installation on Linux. This justifies the use of web-based installations in programming beginner courses, if the learning target focuses on programming and not a particular tool chain.

Amazon Ec2 service offers two diverse instance purchasing options. Users can either run instances by using on demand plan and pay only for the incurred instance-hours, or by renting instances for a long period, while taking advantage of significant reductions (up to 60%). One of the major problems facing these users is cost management. How to dynamically combine between these two options, to serve sporadic workload, without knowledge of future demands? Many strategies in the literature, require either using exact historic workload as a reference or relying on long-term predictions of future workload. Unlike existing works we propose two practical online deterministic algorithms for the multi-slope case, that incur no 2 more than 1 + 1/alpha and 2/1-alpha respectively, compared to the cost obtained from an optimal offline algorithm, where a is the maximum saving ratio of a reserved instance offer over on demand plan.

Actual industrial robotic systems offer performance to effectively cope with the requirements in manufacturing dealing with flexibility and quality. However, their known limits in accuracy do not allow to extend their field of application to high-accuracy machining, actually covered by state-of-the-art CNC machine tools. The European Project COMET has recently proposed an approach to develop a robotic reconfigurable workcell with enhanced accuracy for machining, through the full integration of different theoretical models, technological solutions and manufacturing strategies. The present paper presents and demonstrates the effectiveness of a demo reconfigurable machining workcell for one of its possible configurations, based on CAM off-line programming. In particular, an experimental campaign has been designed and realized in order to discuss the dimensional and geometrical quality obtained for an aluminium automotive part in comparison with quality and costs offered by a standard 5-axis CNC machine tool.

The paper discusses issues concerning the accuracy and repeatability tests of the positioning of the Kuka KR 16-2 industrial robot. The results of laboratory tests of an industrial robot, as well as a comparison of robot motion paths in the Robcad environment with the real robot motion paths are presented. In order to register movement paths in the laboratory conditions, the laser tracker Faro Vantage was used. Frequent necessity to correct programs of industrial robots created in the offline environment, is a results, among others, from the insufficient experience of people who carry out programming, the environment in which robots work and the parameters of the robots themselves, and therefore their accuracy and repeatability. It is connected with the extension of the start-up time and high costs. The work describes the measurement method and attempts to determine the influence of the type of route and motion parameters on the accuracy and repeatability of robot. The accuracy of mapping of simulated robot motion in a virtual environment was also verified.

Disasters and catastrophes: the impact on people with disabilities' leisure-time physical activity participation and associative mental health and well-being

Disasters disrupt people's ability to be physically active. Despite the well-known health benefits of physical activity, there is limited understanding of how disasters may affect those who experience constraints to being active, such as people with disabilities. This study explored how one major disaster, the COVID-19 pandemic, affected people with disabilities' participation in leisure-time physical activity (LTPA) and their mental health and well-being. An online survey was completed by 959 participants. Latent class analysis based on four questions asking the impact of COVID-19 on LTPA was used to identify 4 distinct classes: 'Heavily Impacted', 'Adapted', 'Resilient', and 'Radically Changed'. Disability categorisation, veteran status, and gender predicted latent class membership. Results from multinomial regression revealed that the Heavily Impacted members reported significantly lower mean scores for life satisfaction, quality of life, and general health, along with poorer mean scores for loneliness than other groups. In contrast, the Resilient members reported significantly higher mean scores of quality of life and general health than other groups. Qualitative data analysis further suggests that respondents participated in myriad LTPA modes that included somewhat technology adoption. People with disabilities' LTPA was negatively affected by the pandemic, with those most heavily impacted having poorer mental health indices.

Robot is one kind of mechanical equipment and it's reprogrammable and multifunctional. Its versatility largely depends on programming ability. Off-line programming method has the advantage of improving working efficiency and planning complex trajectory. It has aroused great interest in the field of motion control. In this paper, we designed new off-line programming method by LabVIEW software for MOTOMAN-HP20 robot. This method can be used to solve the forward and inverse kinematics of robot, complete off-line programming for any known curves in space and 2-dimensional unknown curves, and generate automatically the program file to realize robot motion control. The above results have been proved by experiment.
