Based on the producing 1, 3-propanediol from microorganism continuous fermentation, we study the algorithm and its convergence for the optimal model in this paper. First, taking the zero of the optimality function as the terminal criteria, an algorithm for the discrete time system of the optimal model is given with the step-size determined by Armijo line search and the search direction by gradient method. By the result that the discrete time system converges to the continuous time optimal model, the optimality function of the discrete time system is a consistent approximation to the one of the continuous time optimal model and an algorithm for the optimal model is given too. The convergence of the algorithm is proved. At last, it shows that the optimal model describes the experiment correctly and the algorithm is feasible by comparing the computing value with the dates in laboratory.

In the first stage, artificial life system is created. As artificial life organisms have a sensing system, they can find the resource they want and metabolize it. The micro-interaction with each other in the artificial life's group results in emergent colonization in the whole system. The emergent colonization of artificial life system is used to provide an excellent initial position for PSO, and PSO is further used to rind the optimal solution in the second stage. Compared with ordinary artificial life based optimization approach and ordinary PSO approach by simulation, in the newly designed method, the performances of searching speed and optimization solution accuracy are improved.

Operators are looking for new ways to efficiently deliver video content to specific customers or classes of customers, which allow the transfer of large amounts of traffic with the appropriate quality of experience. Mobile Edge Computing (MEC), initiated as an Industry Specification Group (ISG) within ETSI, is quickly gaining traction as a disruptive technology that promises to bring applications and content closer to the network edge, a move that will reduce latency and make new services optimization possible. The aim of this thesis is to provide optimization algorithms for accessing IPTV video services in managed way over Software-defined Networking (SDN) to meet the high Quality of service (QoS) reducing network latency and, ultimately, improving the end consumer's quality of experience (QoE). In this paper an optimization algorithm for time synchronization in telecommunication network is proposed based on VAE(Variational Auto Encoder)framework. Firstly features are represented in latent space under proposed framework while performance of synchronization network is measured and evaluated. Secondly optimization algorithm is further designed with which feature of abnormal samples and benchmark are adaptively merged for smooth adjustment with low risk in practical network operation. Meanwhile considering the characteristics as domain knowledge of synchronization network, a novel metric is adopted to reduce the fluctuation of adjustment. The simulation results verified that performance of synchronization network is significantly improved by optimization templates reconstructed through decoding part of VAE model. It is implied that prior knowledge of synchronization in latent space is introduced with certain interpret-ability for assessment of monitoring performance while optimization adjustment can be properly operated through novel metric proposed in this algorithm.

The extended finite element method (XFEM) allows the entire crack to be represented independently from the mesh, which means re-mesh is unnecessary in model crack growth, reduces the computational time drastically. However, fatigue crack growth simulation has been computationally challenged by lots of analog computations in crack growth. Therefore, a new reanalysis algorithm based on incremental Cholesky factorization is derived. In this paper, we consider a variant of XFEM in which an exponent discontinuous function is used to simulate the crack through unit. Then the corresponding formula of XFEM with inclusion and crack problem with a new reanalysis algorithm is derived. In the end, we use the new reanalysis algorithm and an optimization algorithm to predict the angle of crack initiation from a hole in a plate with inclusion. It shows that the algorithm is effective.

Many optimization algorithms proposed for PCB assembly problem had a common problem that they introduced strong constraints, which made optimization performance deteriorate in practice. Focusing on component pick and placement sequencing problem for multi-head placement machine in PCB assembly, this paper discuss some strong constraints involved in related optimization problem and propose an algorithm under relaxed constraints for problem solving. Certain strong constraints were relaxed for the algorithm to expand solution space, making it possible to find better solutions. Under such relaxation, an optimization algorithm based on scatter search (SS) method was constructed to solve the component sequencing problem, and steps of algorithm are detailed in the paper. Numerical experiments were made to conduct an evaluation for the proposed algorithm, along with a comparison with two heuristic algorithms proposed in other literatures. The results show that the proposed algorithm has better performance in optimization results and can shorten PCB assembly time of the placement machine effectively.
