The Layout parameters of Well Groups and Effect on Land Subsidence for Salt Mine in Zhangshu Tourist Area

The solution-mined caverns have high pressure which is in proportion to the depth and specific density of brine. The cavern pressure will be approximately 12 MPa at the point of 1000m below ground level. This would provide the best protection for the cavern roof and the pillar zone. Additionally, with the salt rock dissolved, the insluble mine collapsed and deposited at the bottom of cavern as loosed state around the piller zone which is also helpful to the stability of the piller. Obviously, there are essential differences between the solid-mined and the solution-mined caverns, where the simple experience in analysising the subsidence for the solid-mined caverns is poorly suited for the salt caverns. This paper focuses on the conflicts between the use of salt mine and the safety of building in the tourist area. The layout parameters of the well-group are optimized with a conbination of laboratory experiment and numerical simulation, which ensure the sagety of building and the reasonable utilization of salt. The study is extremely economical in terms of land area in beded salt mine in China.

The present work delineates the relationship between the structural and spectral parameters of an anil, salicylidene-orthochloroaniline through the determination of its optimized structure, and consequential theoretical parameters using Density Functional Theory (B3LYP/6-311G (d, p) level) and spectral characteristics through UV?visible studies. The time-dependent DFT was used to calculate the theoretical UV? visible spectra and compared with the experimental spectra. The different frontier molecular orbitals and their energy gaps were elucidated and correlated with the experimentally determined values. Cyclic voltammetry confirmed the electron transport characteristics of the molecule. The anil followed a single electron transport process, which is irreversible, and diffusion-controlled. The overall study indicated that the anil could be suitably exploited as an optical material for electronic devices. (c)& nbsp;2021 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved. Customized Convolutional Neural Network for Breast Cancer Classification

The deep convolutional neural networks are most trustable and reliable approach to solve any kind of problems in these days. Especially, in recent days’ mammography image analysis uses deep neural network to identify the early stage cancer and it became most acceptable over other machine learning algorithms. These approaches are supporting radiologists to detect suspicious mass variability and other key characteristics in mammography images with good accuracy through greater performance. However, the performance and accuracy of these computer-aided breast cancer detection systems depends on factors, such as quality mammography images, selections of DNN architecture with appropriate hyper parameters. In this work, proposed a new customized convolutional neural network architecture to identify cancerous and healthy breast using mammography images obtained from digital database of screening mammography. The proposed model performed efficiently when compared with other previously proposed models in detection. Cancerous and healthy measured in terms of accuracy and area under curve (AUC) with optimized parameters and cost. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Enclosure wall multi-functional vibration-absorption structures (MVEW) is a new style of damping structure, it integrates the merits of infilled frame, tuned mass control (MTMD) and the energy dissipation structures. The main influence factors of MVEW is analyzed in the paper, The results indicate that there are optimal value of the mass ratio, the stiffness ratio and the damping ratio of substructure in MVEW, and the damping effect become obvious as the increase of the number of substructure, it also shows that the best location ought to synthetically consider the number of substructure, the tuned frequency ratio and control mode instead of being fixed. In the end, the paper proposed the determine principle of the damping device's performance parameters as well as necessary optimization of MTMD parameters according to the specific case of actual structurel.

Resistance Spot Welding (RSW) is particularly employed for high volume and rapid welding applications in automotive assembly process for joining multiple metal sheets and parts. For that reason, the strength and mechanical behavior of spot welds play a vital role in durability of automobiles and associated safety considerations under different fatigue loading conditions and impact. It is also imperative to study the factors and parameters which effect the strength of these spot weld joints. Failure of Spot weld is linked to several factors such as, weld nugget size, thickness of the sheets, edge distance, spacing between spot welds, welding parameters, material properties of Heat Affected Zone (HAZ), residual stresses, thickness and material inhomogeneity. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of multiple spot welded joints under tensile-shear loads are investigated to attain optimum strength and desired factor of safety. The analysis was carried out by employing ANSYS software. The results indicate that the spacing between adjacent spot welds, edge distance and thickness of the sheets are primary factors affecting the strength of the joints for a given material. The optimal edge distance increases the spot weld strength by providing adequate clearance from plate edge without compromising the load bearing effect. Moreover, the stress field imposition of adjacent spot welds and the load bearing effect places a narrow margin for the optimal spacing between the spot welds. The variation of sheet thickness has an impact on the spot welds strength and the optimal edge distance varies with the sheet thickness. For asymmetric thickness of sheets, strength is defined by thinner sheet. Optimal edge distance, optimal spacing and thickness of the sheets for a given material are presented in this article.

A few holographic silver gratings with maximum diffraction efficiency in the 700-1100nm wavelength range were designed. They can be attractive for stretching and compressing pulse in CPA (chirped pulse amplification) technique. KPP1206 photoresist was used to model the final pattern on photoresist thin film. This paper was devoted to consider super Gaussian gratings. Therefore, approximately identical exposure energy density intervals were used for optimizing grating profile. Accordingly, the Genetic Algorithm (GA) was employed by Grating Solver software to optimize groove spacing, groove depth and groove shape of the grating for TM polarized light in the 1st order (littrow mount). Also, Dependency of diffraction efficiency (DE) to depth and duty cycle of super Gaussian silver gratings in 1064nm was shown.

To establish mathematical model between driving voltage and phase retardation of liquid crystal variable retarders (LCVR) attached with a compensator, A new setup based on Stokes parameters is built to measure the LCVR retardation. Under 25 degrees C, the 532nm wavelength vertical incident light, adjusting the driving voltage, collecting LCVR output power by polarization analyzing system. Using photoelectrical detection theory, the total of 121 experimental samples were calculated, the samples was divided equally, the one was training set and the other one is prediction set. The radial basis function is used as the kernel function in SVM(Support Vector Machines), the K-fold cross validation is used to optimize the penalty parameter c and the parameter g. Test results show, comparing with LS(least squares), For prediction model based on epsilon-SVM, the squared correlation coefficient reached 96%, the mean square error is increased. The model could rapidly and accurately obtained the phase retardation of all the wavelengths and all the voltage values of LCVR in the effective working range, prediction model based on epsilon-SVM was an effective mean for LCVR phase calibration.

The lithium-ion technology has rapidly imposed it self in the world of electronics consumer and electric vehicles. It offers high energy density, very good durability and is not subject to the memory effect. Determining some parameters such as the batteries state of charge (SoC), and obtaining an accurate battery model is mandatory in this field. In this paper, an improved algorithm is proposed to estimate the SoC of a cylindrical lithium cell type 18650 with the help of Matlab/Simulink using experimental data. To simulate the battery behaviour, a mathematical model of a second-order Thevenin circuit is developed. For the internal parameters identification, the (Lookup Table) method is used under Simulink. The aim of this work is to approximate to the most accurate values of the internal parameters of this nonlinear system in order to increase the accuracy of the SoC estimation process based on the advantages of the EKF algorithm.

Quasi-zero stiffness interval optimization design and dynamics analysis of a new bi-directional horizontal isolation system

The quasi-Zero Stiffness (QZS) isolation system is a typical nonlinear isolation system, which has high static stiffness characteristics to improve the bearing capacity and deformation resistance, and its low dynamic stiffness characteristics can reduce the inherent frequency of the system to realize a wider vibration isolation frequency band, so it has a more excellent low-frequency vibration isolation performance compared with the linear system. In this paper, a horizontal QZS isolator is constructed based on a pre-compressed oblique spring system, and two sets of the horizontal QZS isolators are mechanically assembled to work together to achieve a bi-directional horizontal QZS isolation system. Considering that the construction of two sets of horizontal vibration isolators is approximately the same, we focus on one of the isolators for the static analysis and derive the parameter conditions to be satisfied for achieving quasi-zero stiffness characteristics. We considered the effect of each adjustable parameter of the horizontal vibration isolator on the mechanical performance of the QZS system, and sought to optimize the QZS interval to improve the vibration isolation performance. A comparative study of the dynamical properties between the QZS system with ordinary and optimized parameters, as well as the equivalent linear system, is further carried out by means of nonlinear approximate analysis. Finally, the dynamic characteristics of the bi-directional horizontal QZS system and the equivalent linear system are compared by shaker tests on the prototype device, which proved the excellent vibration isolation performance of the proposed QZS isolation system.
