The paper presents an online platform with a functional and simple user interface that would allow individuals to explore their options for improving their mental health. The main elements of this mental health website included a database table that listed therapy locations within Hampton Roads, a user form and database table that allowed visitors and website administrators to interact and share stress management techniques, and a user form that allows website visitors to sign up for newsletters. Another significant element to the online platform is the secure login and logout feature. The login feature allows administrators to update the therapy location table, retrieve information from the newsletter form, and includes a form that allows administrators to interact with users and answer questions about any stress management techniques. All of the components are implemented with the use of HTML, CSS, php, and mysql. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents an online Amazon-like bookstore that weighs more on customers’ experiences and providing a straight way to buy and rate books. The website will have a user-friendly layout and a substantial and varied book library. Users will be able to sign up, establish profiles, browse books with ease, add them to carts, and make purchases directly from their Amazon carts. The website will also offer readers a special chance to post comments, express their ideas, and rate the books they have read. The system ensures high responsiveness, security, and scalability through the use of cutting-edge web technologies, leading to an effective and secure online buying experience for book enthusiasts. BioPlex Display: An Interactive Suite for Large-Scale AP-MS Protein-Protein Interaction Data

The development of large-scale data sets requires a new means to display and disseminate research studies to large audiences. Knowledge of protein-protein interaction (PPI) networks has become a principle interest of many groups within the field of proteomics. At the confluence of technologies, such as cross-linking mass spectrometry, yeast two-hybrid, protein cofractionation, and affinity purification mass spectrometry (AP-MS), detection of PPIs can uncover novel biological inferences at a high-throughput. Thus new platforms to provide community access to large data sets are necessary. To this end, we have developed a web application that enables exploration and dissemination of the growing BioPlex interaction network. BioPlex is a large-scale interactome data set based on AP-MS of baits from the human ORFeome. The latest BioPlex data set release (BioPlex 2.0) contains 56 553 interactions from 5891 AP-MS experiments. To improve community access to this vast compendium of interactions, we developed BioPlex Display, which integrates individual protein querying, access to empirical data, and on-the-fly annotation of networks within an easy-to-use and mobile web application. BioPlex Display enables rapid acquisition of data from BioPlex and development of hypotheses based on protein interactions.

生活物资保障作为一项经常性的工作,对边防部队有效履行职能使命有着非常重要的作用,利用管理信息系统提供科学高效的生活物资保障,能够大量节约时间、人力、物力等资源,对边防部队战斗力的提升具有很大的现实意义。本文在研究国内外管理信息系统和后勤物资保障信息化发展趋势的基础上,结合边防团实际情况,首先深入分析和查找出目前边防团生活物资保障中存在的主要问题,针对存在问题从管理信息化方面研究相关理论和技术;其次运用业务流程再造相关理论对边防团生活物资保障业务流程进行分析和优化;第三是采用遗传算法对边防团生活物资调运问题进行分析、建模和求解;第四是运用管理信息系统相关理论提出了一套边防团生活物资保障管理信息系统解决方案,在深入需求调查和可行性分析的基础上,进行了系统的分析、规划,设计出系统功能模块和数据库,并使用php+mysql技术进行了系统实现。经应用测试,该系统能够充分利用现有的信息网络和计算机资源,使得边防团的生活物资保障情况更加透明、科学、高效,实现了边防团生活物资保障的信息化基础。

Acupuncture points or acupressure points have been popularly used for thousands years for Chinese to cure various illness or pains. The method comes with less or no side effects, comparing the western medicine chemicals. With the new computer information technologies, the ancient Chinese healing tool could be very convenient for people to take care of themselves at home or work. In this paper, the authors present their online database system for locating the acupressure points. A case study shows the details of the design and structure of the online system.
