In this paper it is designed the automatic system for formation the small pieces from polymer, based on the principle of thermoplastic extrusion. The system has a goal to form pieces with a maximum volume of 20535 mm(3). Arduino Mega 2560 and an extension of Ramps 1.4 were used as the control module, and the control of the stepper motors is done by the A4988 drivers. The mathematical model of the thermal process in the extruder was identified and it was synthesized the pid control algorithm based on the maximum stability degree method and by the auto-tuning regime that is implemented in the controller.

In order to get fast, stable and reliable running on a different track,the system collects the discrete path information by an array of photoelectric sensors,the digital pid algorithm and indirect pid algorithm are utilized on the drive-motor and steering gear. The hardware is easily updated and maintained due to its modular structure, the software has a visualized interface and hierarchical design mode, so the apparatus has a good peculiarity like compact structure and control. Moreover, the build-in pid algorithm for temperature control and the power driver element for ultrasonic output power have been optimized the experiment results demonstrate that using this structure and optimization method. Due to the speed of data collecting by parallel interface is much quick than the speed of data collecting by serial interface, so a reliable performance of this apparatus can be achieved, which can meet with the need of clinical application.

Compensation of low order aberrations is essential for high power solid state slab laser. With the increase of output power, the peak-to-valley of wavefront distortion increase to dozens of micrometer. It's difficult to control the wavefront with deformable mirrors which always has limited stroke(<20 mu m). In this paper, a reflective beam shaping system is designed to shaping the beam spot from rectangular to squarer. The beam shaping system consists of two x-oriented cylindrical mirrors and two y-oriented cylindrical mirrors. Simulations of pid control algorithm for actively compensating of low-order aberrations with reflective beam shaping system are presented. It shows that different combinations of defocus, 0 degrees astigmatism and 45 degrees astigmatism, which is the main contributor of beam aberrations in slab laser, can be well compensated by adjustment of distance and rotation angle of mirrors. And the convergence is fast when the control error signal is set to a suitable combination of low order Zernike coefficients. For beam with wave aberrations (PtV=82.6 lambda, RMS=18.2 lambda, Z4=23.6, Z5=7.1, Z6=19.6), the adjustment of distance between mirrors is below 100mm, and the rotation angle about z-axis is below 2 degree. The wavefront aberrations are decreased to a low level (PV=0.16 lambda, RMS=0.04 lambda) which can be easily corrected later with DM.

A heat preservation system for mechanical shutter in Antarctic is introduced in the paper. The system consists of the heat preservation chamber, the host controller STM32F103C8T6 with peripheral circuit and the control algorithm. The whole design is carried out on the basis of the low temperature requirement, including the cavity structure and thermal insulation. The heat preservation chamber is used to keep the shutter warm and support the weight of the camera. Using PT100 as the temperature sensor, the signal processing circuit converts the temperature to the voltage which is then digitized by the 12 bit ADC in the STM32. The host controller transforms the voltage data into temperature, and through the tuning of the Fussy pid algorithm which controls the duty cycle of the MOSFET, the temperature control of chamber is realized. The System has been tested in the cryogenic environment for a long time, with characteristic of low temperature resistance, small volume, high accuracy of temperature control as well as remote control and detection.

In order to improve the control system performance of a Micro Indoor Smart Autonomous Robot, an embedded control system based on STM32 processor is proposed and a double closed-loop control structure is applied. The mathematical model is set up and kinematic model is simulated in Matlab/Simulink to estimate the pid parameters. In this paper a dsPIC microcontroller based temperature control system is developed for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) on-chip. PCR is one of the most important techniques in molecular biology and temperature control is the key technique of PCR. Yet, most of the works are based on PC, through an RS 232 interface to set and control the temperature. Here we design a temperature control system based on DSPIC Microcontroller. It can be much portable and cheaper than PC based systems. The system configuration mainly consists of a high precision, stable performance sensor PT 1000, a signal amplification circuit, a pid algorithm. And then, we use MAX1978 to improve the accuracy of temperature control. After that we choose thermoelectric cooler (TEC) modules as actuator to improve system heating and cooling rate. It is believe that the portable PCR temperature control system will play an important role in the development of the Microfluidic PCR.
