In order to study application of digital control technology on DC/DC converter, principle of increment mode pid control algorithm was analyzed in the paper. Then, a SCM named STC12C5410AD was introduced with its internal resources and characteristics. The pid control algorithm can be implemented easily based on it. The output of pid control was used to change the value of a variable that is 255 times than duty cycle, and this reduced the error of calculation. The valid of the presented algorithm was verified by an experiment for a BUCK DC/DC converter. The experimental results indicated that output voltage of the BUCK converter is stable with low ripple.

Aiming the problems caused by the narrow path recognition range of auto-tracking smart cars, this paper proposes a follow-up control based on the Freescale K10 microcontroller. A laser detection sensor was used to percept the path information. And a follow-up steering servo was used to drive the laser detection sensor to track the road path and controlled by the pid algorithm. Moreover, the system combined Ziegler-Nichols method and trial-and-error method to tune the pid parameters. Experiments show that, the smart car with the follow-up control has a wider path recognition range, an improved driving path and a higher speed.

For High-Low temperature test system by air flow heat exchange, a mathematical model which can reflect the state of the system is established. The parameters of the model are identified by experimental data. In practice, it is found that the model parameters are easy to drift. In this paper, the integral separation and proportional-weakening control strategies are adopted to adjust the pid parameters of the control system. The model was implemented on the PLC hardware platform and verified on a set of high-low temperature test systems. The verification show that the model can effectively reflect the system status. After the tuning, the pid control can meet the performance requirements of the temperature control system.
