A novel control strategy of Fuzzy-immune PID based on pso is proposed in this paper. The strategy learns from the immune feedback principle of biological immune system and takes advantage of the good approaching ability of fuzzy control to achieve nonlinear function of the immune controller, and then the pso algorithm is used to optimize parameters of PID controller and immune controller. Apply the strategy into the hydraulic AGC control system of rolling mills with characteristics of high nonlinearity, time-varying and time-delay. The simulation results indicate that this strategy has strong adaptability to the transformation of the system parameters and has advantages of low overshoot, short adjusting time, strong anti-disturbance ability and great robustness.

In order to increase the accuracy of the cost estimates in government investment, a method based on the pso trained neural network to estimate the cost is proposed. First the neural network model of a project cost estimate is created, and then pso is introduced to optimize the weight and threshold of the neural network, at last the neural network trained is used to estimate cost of the project. The results show that this method not only overcome the defects of traditional neural network such as learning for a long time and shock, but also increase the accuracy of the cost of the project to estimate.

To build a wireless capsule endoscope with active external guidance for controllable and interactive diagnosis on the gastrointestinal tract, it is necessary to track the capsule's 3-D position and 3-D orientation. An approach to tracking is to enclose a small rectangular permanent magnet in the capsule. The magnetic field produced around the body by the rectangular magnet can be detected by magnetic sensors outside the patient's body. With these detected magnetic sensor data, the 3-D localization and 3-D orientation parameters can be computed by an appropriate algorithm based on the mathematical model of the rectangular magnet's magnetic field. We tried several nonlinear optimization algorithms, and simulation experiments show that the particle swarm optimization algorithm can work effectively with good accuracy when the magnet moves within a predetermined range.

It is allowed to offer fewer data while using this method to forecast its residual life. The gait recognition algorithm adopt support vector machine based on hybrid kernel function and Parameter Optimization. Partial kernel function and overall kernel function are fitted to compose super-kernel function, so that the SVM obtain better generalization ability and generalization ability. In terms of parameter selection, the text uses the objective function and combine OPS algorithm to select the best kernel parameter. This method makes use of the distance of training samples of different classes to find the optimal (or effective) nuclear parameters instead of the standard SVM training samples. It avoids strong empirical and large amount of calculation of the traditional SVM on model selection. Then the gaits are classified by the support vector machine models. This algorithm is applied to a data-set including thirty individuals. Experimental results demonstrate that the algorithm performs at an encouraging recognition rate and at a relatively lower computational cost.

The distribution network planning is formulated as a multi-objective mathematical optimization problems, this paper uses investment cost, loss of network, reliability and the environmental effect and so on as multi-objective functions to establishment mathematics model. The traditional of Particle Swarm Optimization for multi-objective optimization can not solve this problem. Through the fuzzy optimized algorithm and the rough set method to determine the link between the objective functions in the paper, so as to obtain the relative important weighting factors attribute to various objectives. And then the pursuit of multi-objective optimization transforms to seek the optimal level of satisfaction of the overall goals. It avoids the difficulties about the different dimensions of the goal transform into the same goal. The improvement of pso algorithm and the Powell optimization algorithm are used to optimize distribution network planning, then that overcomes insufficient for precocious restraining using alone pso, increases the development ability of algorithm, and sharpens the partial optimization ability. The example shows that the method is feasible and effective.

A new technique for maximum power point tracking (MPPT) of photovoltaic (PV) modules has been developed with the aim of maximizing their efficiency of photovoltaic energy conversion. The Particle Swarm Optimization (pso) algorithm has been employed in this work to track the Maximum Power Points (MPPs) of PV modules under partial and rapidly varying insolation conditions. Experimental arrangements were made to track the MPP of a PV module under partial and rapidly varying insolation levels and the results were compared with the MPP values obtained using the pso-MPPT algorithm. Simulation results show that the pso-MPPT method has an accuracy of 1% and a tracking response time of 1.42 seconds.
