In this paper,we apply well-performed Particle Swarm Optimization(pso) algorithm to solve multi-objective optimization problem in engineering network planning,and propose possible initialization and constraints by multiconstrained matrix and heuristic criterion to reduce complexity of penalty *** the coding process,we define the particle,level objectives by importance,and build linear weighted method by fitness function of particles to resolve the partial ordering problem derived from multi-objective *** result indicates the proposed approach can increase the solution speed,reduce the solution difficulty of pso algorithm and search space about its *** it also demonstrates pso algorithm is practical and valid in multi-objective network optimization.

To solve the problems of the PID controller when it is used for the vehicle suspension, a method using the pso algorithm is designed. This method utilizes the global searching strategy of the pso algorithm to design and optimize the parameters of the target function for the suspension performance indexes matrix. And then a simulation experiment is provided. The simulation results show that the performances of the actively controlled vehicle suspension using the PID controller optimized by the pso algorithm can be greatly improved compared to the suspension controlled by the normal PID controller and the passive one. It means that the problems of defining the weight matrices are well solved and the advantage of the normal PID controller is utilized sufficiently.

As computer networks expand, attacks and intrusions into these networks have increased. In addition to firewalls and other intrusion prevention equipment, other systems, such as IDS (Metrics), are designed to provide enhanced security in computer systems, including the purpose of monitoring intrusive and intrusive activities. Intrusive allocation system can be considered effective if the high intrusion rate is slightly misleading, and in this article a new way to classify it is abnormal (infiltration) in the host or network. UNSW-NB15 and KDD-Cup'99 Datasets Introducing Random Forest and pso algorithm. In this paper, training data and label data used with the random forest algorithm. After creating a random forest algorithm, provide test data. We use the data stored in train step, which is actually a copy of the data, so that when performing the test step, the same training data can be compared with categorize using a pso algorithm. In in order to show the accuracy of the proposed method, an example of the confusion matrix formed in the code that showed performance of all methods and modes studied is compared based on accuracy and time that the pso algorithm has always been able to take less time, which is quite acceptable and predictable. Improves correct diagnosis of correct detection rate in that report was 75.94% and in the proposed method in this article it reached 97%. With the proposed method, learning speed has been greatly increased and accuracy is acceptable.

With the BLDCM's speed control system with time-varying,nonlinear,and strong coupling characteristics,using the traditional PID control,it is hard to obtain satisfactory *** on the improved pso algorithm,this paper presents a PID control strategy that is implemented at the control of *** Matlab/Simulink simulation results show that using the control system-introduced shrinkage factor pso algorithm PID controller for BLDCM exhibits better dynamic and static performance than the traditional PID control method.

Integrated Silicon Photonic Reservoir Computing With pso Training algorithm for Fiber Communication Channel Equalization

An optical channel distortion equalization method based on silicon photonic reservoir computing (PhRC) structure with particle swarm optimization (pso) algorithm is proposed. The weights training scheme of the photonic readout layer of PhRC is trained by pso algorithm towards a lower bit error rate (BER) and a better eye diagram, simultaneously. The self-organizing evolutionary pso algorithm enables fast convergence and iterative optimization for training optical weights. Without the necessary the reservoir signal states obtained from the monitors, it eliminates the noise introduced by the optical monitors. We implement a system-level simulation, including RC structure, training algorithm, and fiber communication construction. Because of the excellent performance of the pso training algorithm, a BER of 9.15 x 10(-5) is obtained with the 25 Gb/s on-off keying (OOK) input signal in the case of 25 km single-mode transmission. This BER result is three orders of magnitude lower than that before the equalization. This equalizer mitigates the processing bandwidth limit and provides a distorted signals equalization method in the optical domain with simple and effective training strategy. This method shows much potential in high speed optical communication channel equalization in the future.

Hybrid pso-ANN algorithm to control TCR for voltage balancing

Voltage unbalance is an important power quality issue, which occurs in electrical power systems (EPSs) and causes severe problems for them. In this work, a general mathematical model for EPS including its long transmission line is developed using the generalised circuit parameters method. Then, a hybrid Particle Swarm Optimisation-Artificial Neural Network (pso-ANN) algorithm is proposed to overcome the voltage unbalance problem by controlling the firing angles of thyristor-controlled reactor (TCR) which varies the amount of reactive power at the load side. pso algorithm is responsible for determining the optimal set of TCR firing angles required to retrieve the balance conditions in offline mode for different load changes, employing the developed mathematical model of the EPS. Then, a dataset is taken as training samples for the ANN to be used in online mode. Aqaba Qatranah South-Amman (AQSA) EPS is considered as a real case study and simulated in MATLAB environment to validate the proposed algorithm. The simulation results are compared with other ANN algorithms available in the literature. Finally, a laboratory prototype is built for AQSA EPS including its long transmission line to test the proposed hybrid pso-ANN algorithm for real unbalance conditions acquired from the laboratory prototype.

Considering both requirements of the local optimization capacity and the global search ability, the paper combines pso algorithm with the complex method and the adaptive mutation inertia weight to improve the traditional k-means algorithm. The proposed novel clustering algorithm is called Cpso-K, which can find better cluster partition. The performance of the proposed algorithm is evaluated through several benchmark datasets. The experiments show that the Cpso-K algorithm can effectively overcome k-means shortcomings that are sensitive to initial values and easy to be trapped into local optima, and significantly enhance the clustering accuracy and validity.
