The testing industry need to prioritize the limited resources and focus on testing modules whose failure is mostly likely to cause *** paper discusses a method that can rank modules in a software package for integrate testing using the PageR ank *** this algorithm,a sequences of random walks iteratively can find a high likelihood of encountering a node,which is interpreted as it being an important performance *** experiment result prove that the proposed method actually can be used to prioritize testing of specific modules when testing resource are scarce.

Detection approach for unusable shared bikes enabled by reinforcement learning and pagerank algorithm

Existing research models can neither indicate the availability of shared bikes nor detect unusable ones owing to a lack of information on bike maintenance and *** improve awareness regarding the availability of shared bikes,we propose an innovative approach for detecting unusable shared bikes based on reinforcement learning and the pagerank *** proposed method identifies unusable shared bikes depending on the local travel data and provides a ranking of the shared bikes according to their availability *** a sliding time window,the value function for the reinforcement learning model was determined by considering the cumulative number of unavailable shared bikes,the proportion of rental cancelations at the same stations,and the mean time between the *** learning was then used to identify shared bikes with the worst *** availability ranking for the shared bikes below the reward threshold was performed using the pagerank *** proposed detection approach was applied to a trip dataset of a real-world bike-sharing system to illustrate the modeling process and its *** detection results of unusable shared bikes in the absence of failure and feedback data can provide essential information to support the maintenance management decisions regarding shared bikes.

Visual social network group consensus method with improved pagerank algorithm

Purpose The purpose of this study is to build a consensus model of social network group decision-making (SNGDM) based on improved pagerank algorithm. By objectively and fairly measuring the evaluation ability of participants in the decision-making process, the authors can improve the fairness and authenticity of the weight solution of decision-makers (DM) in the decision-making process. This ensures the reliability of the final group consensus results. Design/methodology/approach This study mainly includes six parts: preference expression, calculation of DM's weight, preference aggregation, consensus measurement, opinion adjustment and alternative selection. First, Pythagorean fuzzy expression is introduced to express the preference of DMs, which expands the scope of preference expression of DMs. Second, based on the social network structure among DMs, the process of "mutual judgment" among DMs is increased to measure the evaluation ability of DMs. On this basis, the pagerank algorithm is improved to calculate the weight of DMs. This makes the process of reaching consensus more objective and fair. Third, in order to minimize the evaluation difference between groups and individuals, a preference aggregation model based on plant growth simulation algorithm (PGSA) is proposed to aggregate group preferences. Fourth, the consensus index of DMs is calculated from three levels to judge whether the consensus degree reaches the preset value. Fifth, considering the interaction of DMs in the social network, the evaluation value to achieve the required consensus degree is adjusted according to the DeGroot model to obtain the overall consensus. Finally, taking the group preference as the reference, the ranking of alternatives is determined by using the Pythagorean fuzzy score function. PRFold-TNN: Protein Fold Recognition With an Ensemble Feature Selection Method Using pagerank algorithm Based on Transformer

Understanding the tertiary structures of proteins is of great benefit to function in many aspects of human life. Protein fold recognition is a vital and salient means to know protein structure. Until now, researchers have successively proposed a variety of methods to realize protein fold recognition, but the novel and effective computational method is still needed to handle this problem with the continuous updating of protein structure databases. In this study, we develop a new protein structure dataset named AT and propose the PRFold-TNN model for protein fold recognition. First, different types of feature extraction methods including AAC, HMM, HMM-Bigram and ACC are selected to extract corresponding features for protein sequences. Then an ensemble feature selection method based on pagerank algorithm integrating various tree-based algorithms is used to screen the fusion features. Ultimately, the classifier based on the Transformer model achieves the final prediction. Experiments show that the prediction accuracy is 86.27% on the AT dataset and 88.91% on the independent test set, indicating that the model can demonstrate superior performance and generalization ability in the problem of protein fold recognition. Furthermore, we also carry out research on the DD, EDD and TG benchmark datasets, and make them achieve prediction accuracy of 88.41%, 97.91% and 95.16%, which are at least 3.0%, 0.8% and 2.5% higher than those of the state-of-the-art methods. It can be concluded that the PRFold-TNN model is more prominent.

In the current era of information explosion, information search has become the focus of research, and search engines generally use pagerank algorithm to sort web-page. Based on the situation, this paper starts with rules of pagerank algorithm, and aims at optimizing PR value problem of link page average allocation. After that, this paper carries on discriminant analysis to the probability of web-page randomly jump to any page with the probability of residual damping coefficient, and assigns the PR value according to number of downstream pages linked to specified page, namely, improving accuracy of the algorithm by optimizing transition probability matrix in the pagerank algorithm. Finally, we prove that optimized algorithm has improved accuracy of pagerank distribution, and is superior to traditional algorithm.

Partial TMR method for on-orbit processors based on pagerank algorithm

On-orbit processors generally require reinforcement due to the harsh space radiation environment. Although the traditional full triple modular redundancy (TMR) method can effectively reinforce circuits, it requires excessive physical footprints and energy consumptions. To address this problem, this Letter proposes a general partial TMR method that can effectively reinforce a circuit. The method is based on the pagerank algorithm for sorting the importance of the triggers in a circuit, and the mean time between failure based on the dual logic cone model is used as the criterion to determine triggers that require redundancy under the partial TMR method. The arithmetic module of an optical image processing platform is tested to verify the effectiveness of the partial TMR method proposed in this Letter.

Cascading failures can easily occur and cause a major blackout in power grid when an important node breaks down. It is an essential problem to evaluate the importance of nodes in power system planning and operation. In this study, a method for evaluating the importance of power grid nodes based on pagerank (PR) algorithm is proposed. First, according to the comparison of the internet and power grid topology, a directed graph is established. Second, based on the directed graph, an index is proposed to estimate the importance of power grid nodes based on PR algorithm. Then, according to the characteristics of power grid, a modified algorithm, which takes the importance of nodal load, nodal load capacity and network topology into account, is proposed. Finally, case study shows the necessity of considering the factors to evaluate the importance of power grid nodes and the effective of index and algorithm to identify critical nodes in this study.

Comprehensive assessment of cable-stayed bridge based on pagerank algorithm

This paper develops an improved structural health assessment method for cable-stayed bridge to address the issue of neglecting component correlations in existing assessment standards. Firstly, the directed graph of fault transmission between components in the cable-stayed bridge system was constructed. The pagerank algorithm was used to analyze the degree of correlation between these components, and then the influencing degree of and the influenced degree of each component were determined. Secondly, considering the failure rate of individual components and the influenced degree of other component faults, a condition evaluation method with component correlation for cable-stayed bridge was proposed. Finally, the improved assessment method was applied to a super large-span steel cable-stayed bridge as a case study and compared with the relevant assessment specifications. The results show that main girder alignment, cable force and main tower alignment have a greater degree of correlation with other components and are important indicators for bridge health monitoring. Visual inspection of main girder and bridge bearing are the fault appearance components and should be paid attention to in preventive maintenance. The drainage system and electromechanical facilities are the fault source components and must be kept in good condition in daily inspections. The proposed method considers the interrelationships among components more comprehensively and can provide more reliable bridge health assessment results to support bridge maintenance decisions.

Numerous citizen science platforms aiming at monitoring biodiversity have emerged in the recent years. These platforms collect biodiversity data from participants and allow them to increase their scientific knowledge and share it with other participants, experts and scientists. One key aspect of such platforms is quality control on the data, a task usually performed by a limited number of co-opted experts. With the amount of data collected increasing steeply, finding new experts is needed. In this paper we propose a new graph-based expert finding approach for the citizen science platform SPIPOLL, aiming at collecting data on pollinator diversity across France. We exploit both users comments quality and users social relations to calculate users expertise for specific insect family. Experimental results show that the proposed method performs better than the state-of-the-art expert finding algorithms.
