The paper proposes a novel approach to parallel data processing for solving security event correlation problems based on Big data technologies. Different security event correlation methods and problems, as well as big data technologies applicable for security monitoring are considered. The main attention is paid to the problems of identifying the links between security event types and assessing the dependence of the link strength on event distribution in time. Implementation of correlation problem solutions on the Spark platform is described, and the results of experimental assessment of security event correlation processes are given.

Active filter topology and principle are introduced. Harmonic data processing method is proposed. The method can greatly reduce the amount of computation of the controller to improve real-time. In addition, the working principle of the active filter topology and control strategies are introduced and analyzed. Results verify the correctness of the algorithm and the feasibility of the design.

Evolution of a basis of the organization of computing process for digital signal processing is observed. Necessity of the basis modification for parallel data processing is shown. Real transition to parallel data processing has made computation organization the object of the investigations. The object is characterized by set of variants of the computation organization. The variant chosen ought to provide efficient processing under the given conditions of computation realization. Therefore to provide a possibility of the well-founded choice of a variant of the computation organization it is necessary to develop a new formal basis of the organization of computations in the space-time domain. Formal model is the basis. The way of the formal model development is offered.

The paper deals with the development of a basic neurocontroller for intellectualization of process control systems. A vertical tabular-algorithmic method for calculating the scalar product by using two and more tables of macropartial products, allowing a computation time to be reduced through parallel data processing, was improved. Maintenance support and software were developed for the basic modular-based neurocontroller that ensures rapid improvements in a product being designed. The neurocontroller's structure and model were developed to manage an intelligent greenhouse that relies on an artificial neural network.

The new principals of organization of parallel input-output of the optical information in the personal computer from the fiber-optical measuring lines are considered. The device has block structure and has two mode of operation: calibration mode of operation and work mode of operation. In the calibration mode of operation computing, system is adaptation to condition of the Solution problem of reconstruction information about parameters of monitoring physical fields. In the work mode of operation the device implements the adaptive processing of incoming optical radiation.

In the paper an introductory research on visual system for underwater scene change detection and environment monitoring by an autonomous underwater drone is described. The systems sensor front-end is composed of a side-scan sonar, a set of video cameras and lighting module. The system contains a number of processing blocks. First is responsible for signal filtering and conditioning. The main processing unit is based on a change detection module operating with our tensor based scene change detection unit. Thanks to our developed parallel algorithm for tensor based model construction, the system is able to find abrupt scene changes, as well as presence of previously unseen objects which can be of interest and which are left for further monitored. In the work-in-progress report the system architecture, theoretical foundations, as well as preliminary experimental results are presented.

The paper presents a novel non-linear median filter operating in the current mode. The filter consists of an analog and a digital part. A first layer of the analog part converts particular input signals, represented by currents, into 1-bit digital signals delayed by time periods inversely proportional to the values of the currents. The second block of the analog part of the system is a multi-branch resistive voltage divider, switched over by described digital signals. A digital block of the filter is used to determine the address of the input signal that in a given calculation cycle has a median value among all signal samples. The circuit was designed in the 180 nm CMOS technology and verified by comprehensive HSpice simulations. For the input currents up to 50 nA it offers data rate of 100 kSamples/s, dissipating power of 100 W.

Distributed dataflow systems such as Apache Spark and Apache Flink are used to derive new insights from large datasets. While they efficiently execute concrete data processing workflows, expressed as dataflow graphs, they lack generic support for exploratory workflows: if a user is uncertain about the correct processing pipeline, e.g. in terms of data cleaning strategy or choice of model parameters, they must repeatedly submit modified jobs to the system. This, however, misses out on optimisation opportunities for exploratory workflows, both in terms of scheduling and memory allocation. We describe meta-dataflows (MDFs), a new model to effectively express exploratory workflows and efficiently execute them on compute clusters. With MDFs, users specify a family of dataflows using two primitives: (a) an explore operator automatically considers choices in a dataflow;and (b) a choose operator assesses the result quality of explored dataflow branches and selects a subset of the results. We propose optimisations to execute MDFs: a system can (i) avoid redundant computation when exploring branches by reusing intermediate results and discarding results from underperforming branches;and (ii) consider future data access patterns in the MDF when allocating cluster memory. Our evaluation shows that MDFs improve the runtime of exploratory workflows by up to 90% compared to sequential execution.

An idea as well as a CMOS implementation of the novel multi-channel readout front-end ASIC for nuclear X-ray imaging system has been presented in the paper. The circuit has been designed in an example configuration with eight equal channels, but the modular structure enables an easy realization of larger systems with even hundreds of channels. Various new circuit solutions have been proposed by author and used in the circuit, such as: an asynchronous output multiplexer, a pulse shaper and a peak detector with a built-in clock generator, which activates the circuit only in the situation when a new impulse occurs at the input. This technique allows for very low power dissipation. In the worst case scenario, i.e. when all channels would be active at the same time, the power dissipation is kept below 2 mW. By introducing an efficient RESET mechanism that turns off a given channel just after reading out the information, the counting rate of a single channel has been increased to about 3 MSps. The proposed circuit solutions allow for a very low chip area usage that for a single channel is equal to 0.021 mm(2), while the total chip area is equal to 0. 17 mm(2).

Tato práce se zabývá škálovatelným předzpracováním dat prostřednictvím nástroje Hadoop, který slouží pro paralelní zpracování velkého objemu dat. V první teoretické části se práce zaměřuje na vysvětlení fungování struktury základních funkčních prvků distribuovaného souborového systému HDFS a metody MapReduce pro paralelní zpracování. Praktická část práce popisuje realizaci Hadoop clusteru v pseudo-režimu pro jednoduché ladění aplikací a také realizaci v plně distribuovaném režimu pro simulaci nasazení v reálné praxi.
