This paper investigates a robust fuzzy sliding mode control (FSMC) for the synchronization of chaotic *** using Lyapunov function the sliding surfaces are proposed for the chaotic system which is express by T-S fuzzy *** design is based on the concept of parallel distributed compensation (PDC).The designed sliding mode controller such that the global system confined on the sliding surfaces is asymptotically *** proposed controller can guarantee asymptotical synchronization of both drive and response ***,the corresponding numerical simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed schemes.

In this paper, a novel fuzzy synchronization method is proposed to synchronize two identical discrete-time 2D hyperchaotic maps. Firstly, the T-S fuzzy model of the considered discrete-time 2D hyperchaotic map is constructed. The simple T-S fuzzy model with four IF-THEN rules can represent the hyperchaotic map accurately. Then, according to the PDC technique, a simple fuzzy state feedback controller is designed. By choosing appropriate controller gain matrices, the complete synchronization can be reached. Finally, simulation results are given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed fuzzy synchronization method.

In single-phase shunt active power filter (SAPF), there are several methods to obtain the best reference control current. The theory of instantaneous reactive power has been successfully used in three-phase symmetrical and asymmetrical power systems, but it is too complicated to apply into single-phase power systems because of complex coordination converting by single-phase to three-phase and then being reverted. One-cycle control or equivalent method can deal with single-phase SAPF control in a good way, but the PI controller also seems too difficult to adjust, and it may cause system unstable while in wide range used. In this paper, the application of Takagi-Sugeno (TS) type fuzzy logic controllers for single-phase SAPF line current control is proposed. This type of fuzzy controller provides a wide range of control gain variation by including both linear and nonlinear terms in the consequent part of the fuzzy rule base. The T-S fuzzy controllers are quite general in that they use arbitrary input fuzzy sets, any type of fuzzy logic, and the general defuzzifier. To design fuzzy controllers, bilinear model of the active power filter system are represented by T-S fuzzy modeling and the so-called parallel distributed compensation (PDC) is employed to design fuzzy controllers from the T-S fuzzy models. For the designed fuzzy control system, the problem of finding stable feedback gains and a common Lyapunov function is solved by linear matrix inequality (LMI) via MATLAB. Computer simulation tests on a single-phase power system indicate the significant performance of this new TS fuzzy controller for a single-phase SAPF.

This paper deals with the problem of delay-dependent stability and stabilization of Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems with a time-varying delay. A new method which brings three great advantages for the T-S delay-dependent stabilization problem is developed. The first one is that this method is less conservative than other existing ones. The second one is the reduction of computational complexity when the number of IF-THEN rules r is big. The third advantage the delay-dependent stabilization conditions presented involve a single tuning parameter. The stabilization conditions are derived using single Lyapunov- Krasovskii Functional (LKF) combining the introduction of free-single matrices. Review some results are used to make these conditions in term of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs) (which can be easily solved using existing solvers such as the LMI Toolbox in Mat lab). Two numerical examples are taken from the literature to show the advantages of the design procedures.

Nowadays in solving control problems the processing is performed typically by model-based computer systems, which contain a representation of our knowledge about the nature and the actual circumstances of the problem in hand. If the nature and/or the actual circumstances change, the corresponding model should also be changed. Anytime techniques are very flexible in this respect and can advantageously be used when the operation should be performed under changing circumstances. In this paper, a nonlinear state dependant control methodology is proposed for anytime use and as an example is applied to globally stabilize a given prototypical aeroelastic wing section via one control surface.

This paper presents a fuzzy controller design method for the singular nonlinear systems with perturbations via singular affine Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy models. The parallel distributed compensation (PDC) technique is applied to design this fuzzy controller for the singular affine T-S fuzzy model. However, the derived stability conditions with the fuzzy controller are Bilinear Matrix Inequality (BMI) problems which cannot be calculated by the optimal convex programming algorithm of Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) method directly. In order to solve the present design problem, the BMI problems must be transferred into the LMI problems. Hence, an Iterative Linear Matrix Inequality (ILMI) algorithm is developed to find the feasible solutions for the stability conditions. Finally, a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the applications and effectiveness of the proposed fuzzy control approach.

A Tagaki-Sugeno fuzzy model of a six degrees of freedom, four-rotor helicopter is presented. For this model, a state-feedback parallel distributed compensator is designed using a LMI optimization algorithm to ensure stability conditions. Stabilization over translational and angular coordinates is achieved. The simulations were performed without considering the effect of parametric uncertainties, wind and turbulences. The results obtained suggests the validity of the proposed approach.
