Compression and encryption for remote sensing image based on PSO-BP and 2D-MCCM

In response to the large size of remote sensing images and the limitations of existing image compression and encryption algorithms, this paper proposes a novel compression and encryption algorithm. The proposed algorithm utilizes a new type of memristive chaotic mapping in combination with PSO-BP neural networks and multi-threaded parallelism. Specifically, the proposed novel two-dimensional memristive chaotic mapping involves a combination of new memristors based on HP memristors and Cubic chaotic mapping. Compared to existing chaotic systems, this method exhibits stronger randomness and hyperchaotic characteristics. Additionally, to improve the reconstruction accuracy of compressed images, a traditional BP neural network with an added hidden layer is combined with the PSO algorithm for image compression and reconstruction. Furthermore, to enhance the encryption efficiency of remote sensing images, a multi-threaded parallel encryption method is employed, enabling simultaneous permutation within and among threads. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm achieves good compression reconstruction accuracy, excellent encryption performance, and resistance to attacks.

In many datasets, conditional attributes and decision classes are preference-ordered, however, the classical Rough Set Theory (RST) does not consider the preference order between the values of the attributes. An extension of RST known as a Dominance-based Rough Set Approach (DRSA) provides dominance relation in this regard. In DRSA, data analysis mainly depends on the calculations of lower and upper approximations and these two measures are computationally utilizing many resources i.e., time and memory, due to the consideration of preference order. In this paper, we have proposed a parallel technique for calculating DRSA approximation sets. The proposed method directly computes approximations by following heuristic rules without calculating dominance positive or negative relations. The proposed parallel approach is then compared with the conventional method of calculation of DRSA approximations and a recent another technique of parallel processing using ten UCI publicly available datasets. Results validated the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed model. An average reduction of 83% was observed in execution time and 86% in memory consumption. The structural complexity of the algorithm also considerably reduced.

This International Standard specifies the procedures to be followed when connecting cylinder valves to gascylinders. It specifically applies to all valve and cylinder combinations connected with ISO screw threads asspecified in ISO 10920 and ISO 11363-1. It defines routines for inspection and preparation prior to valving forboth taper and parallel screw *** values are given in Annex A for steel and aluminium gas cylinders including composite cylinders withsteel or aluminium *** The procedures and practices specified in this International Standard can be beneficially applied to other valveto cylinder screw thread connection systems. ISO/TR 11364[4] lists the valve to gas cylinder threads in use worldwide. Itgives details of the thread identification codes, whether the threads are interchangeable with ISO threads and if the tapingprocedure and torque values specified in this International Standard can be used. ISO/TR 11364[4] gives clear guidancefor the method and torque for all listed inlet threads, which are not interchangeable.
