The power electronic based photovoltaic power generation, wind turbine and other renewable power generation systems have the potential of millisecond level power control. Based on the analysis on the demands of fast power control in grids with high renewable generation penetration, this paper proposes the structure of fast renewable energy power control system. The information transmission delay, MCU processing delay and the MPPT tracking delay are analyzed. A novel algorithm is implemented to enable the renewable power generations to quickly respond to the control commands from the power grid and realize rapid bi-directional power adjustments. The proposed methods could participate in the primary frequency and voltage regulation in the power grid.

The task of this investigation is to design a controller that has a strong robustness in various operating conditions. A new structure of state feedback assisted classical control (SFACC) that uses a differential lag compensator in the inner classical control loop is proposed to improve the robustness of original SFACC. The linear quadratic Gaussian with loop transfer recovery (LQG/LTR) at the plant output is employed to design the robust controller in the outer control loop. A comparison of the performance and robustness between the gain-insensitive controller and an existing LQG/LTR controller is made by nonlinear simulations. The proposed gain-insensitive LQG/LTR controller can give satisfying performance for both reactor power and coolant temperature over a wide range of reactor operations.

Health condition assessment method can effectively ensure the performance and health status of the key components and equipment of the spacecraft power supply system, enhance the efficiency of spacecraft in orbit. Aiming at the problems of health level classification and uncertainty mapping in the health assessment application of spacecraft power control system, the algorithm strategy of combining support vector machine (SVM) and cloud model is proposed to realize the health status measurement of spacecraft power control system. Then the implementation strategy and main processes of the algorithm are described. Finally, using the historical in-orbit operation data of a spacecraft power control system, the health status evaluation of the spacecraft power system based on SVM and cloud model is realized, and the effectiveness of the method is verified. The results show that the method can effectively evaluate the performance and health of the key equipment of the spacecraft power system. It can be used as a support for online health assessment and operational decision making of key components for spacecraft power supplies.

We propose the power seat control system based on a machine learning approach from passengers' control actions. More specifically, the system adjusts seat in cars by referring to the trained model on behalf of passengers. If they manually adjust the car seat, the system re-trains the inference model. Whenever manual adjustment happens, the model update is repeated. The system can be used in any area of adjustment system such as a power seat and a power mirror. Consequently, the proposed system can improve passenger's safety and satisfaction in driving.

Micro-nano satellites refer to satellites with small mass and application functions, which has a higher functional density than conventional satellites. The space power control system is responsible for energy acquisition, storage, and distribution tasks, It is the basis for ensuring the stable operation of satellites. MPPT(Max power Point Tracking) technology is an important branch of it and can improve energy conversion efficiency, improves the lifespan of microsatellite satellites and satisfies higher energy consumption requirements. This article uses COTS device as the main chip of the power control system, designs a set of power control system for the micro-nano satellite, and expounds the design principle and test conditions. The design has the advantages of short development cycle, high reliability, and can meet the micro-nano satellite application requirements.

The objective of this paper is to design a reactor power control system for the advanced small pressurized water reactor that adopts a constant average coolant temperature and a secondary-side steam pressure program. Based on the nonlinear core model with the one-group delayed neutron and simplified nonlinear once-through steam generator model, a two-input and two-output linear nuclear steam supply system (NSSS) model is obtained. Three types of control systems are then proposed and designed on a Bode diagram using analytical methods and second-order approximation. The comparison of the control performance and robustness of the three control systems shows that the double feedback control (DFC) with both power feedback and temperature feedback provides the best performance for reactor power and average coolant temperature with parameter uncertainty due to control rod differential worth variation. The simulations based on the high-order nonlinear NSSS model also show good performance of the DFC system.

It is essential to ensure accurate sensor measurements to safely regulate physical process in power control system. Traditional false data injection (FDI) attacks against control system mainly require the attackers to obtain the optimal malicious inputs. Different from the traditional FDI attacks, we present false sequence attack that can disable the fault detection against Programmable Logic controllers (PLCs) with partial information about the victim system. Our attack formulation is to identify a discrete event model of collected fault-free I/O traces from compromised PLCs, and find the undetectable false sequences that are selected as desired attacks injected into compromised sensors from the identified model. A representation industrial simulation shows that we construct the false sequence attack against the control system with fault detection.

For the power control system of thermal power unit, a two degree of freedom control structure is designed and the parameters of the controller are determined. In the process of design, the problem that the mechanical power of turbine can not be measured is solved by changing the structure and other methods.
