C/S mixed-mode is a new application program structure based on client-server,browser-server and Web Service *** mixed program structure has the advantages of the above three,including:higher application performance,ease of deployment and flexible client user interface,*** it also has some disadvantages,including:difficulties in upgrading the deployment,problems of data integrated between the client programs with browser *** paper analyzes the two kinds of realization methods of C/S mixed-mode,that is,Webpage integrated and Web Service *** application that used the above two realization methods and based on C/S mixed-mode is provided as an example.

The term Projectional editor is commonly used for tools that can work directly with the program's abstract syntax tree. They are able to provide different views of the program, according to the specific editor used. The ability to look at the program from multiple views is often requested as a mean to simplify program comprehension. During their evolution, the Integrated Development Environments were equipped with tools that provide such possibilities. Many of them already work with the parsed abstract syntax tree of the code and thus can be considered for projections. In this paper we review projections available in 6 widely used IDEs. The review categorizes existing projections and shows that significant number of IDE tools depend on the knowledge of program structure, but also that data from other integrated tools are used to enhance the projections.

Software visualization aims to provide a more human-readable interface for the various software system aspects and characteristics. As majority of the time spent on modifying software is spent on gaining an understanding of an intangible and virtual system, the area of software visualization is widely researched as a solution to this. The paper in question presents a program visualization approach that focuses on illustrating the two software modifiability characteristics of cohesion and coupling. Unlike other approaches, which provide a visual representation for precalculated values, it uses the underlying cohesion and coupling mechanics to derive the actual layout. This allows the user to perceive the entire structure that has resulted to the cohesion and coupling values present in viewed nodes. There are three distinct steps to our approach. 1) Semantic analysis is used to record the static program structure into a directed and weighted graph. 2) The graph is then laid out using force-optimization to highlight important implementation structures. Finally, 3) sub-graph separation and further visual aids are provided to aid the user in observing cohesion and coupling for specific areas. Discussed benefits for this approach include information production efficiency, the ability to quickly analyze even large software implementations and intuitiveness of the visual delivery method.

As a consequence of increasing hardware fault rates, HPC systems face significant challenges in terms of reliability. Evaluating the error resilience of HPC applications is an essential step for building efficient fault-tolerant mechanisms for these applications. In this paper, we propose a methodology to characterize the resilience of OpenMP programs using fault-injection experiments. We find that the error resilience of OpenMP applications depends on the program structure and thread model;hence, these need to be taken into account while characterizing error resilience. We also report preliminary results about the correlation between the application's error resilience and the algorithm(s) used in the application.

In India, unlike the Western world, the universities have several engineering institutes affiliated to them that are geographically spread across large provinces. Gujarat Technological University (GTU) is one such example, that caters to the technical education needs of the state of Gujarat (size of Arizona) with a population of 65 million. More than one hundred such institutes offering undergraduate and graduate programs and about same number of 'Polytechnics' offering engineering diploma programs are affiliated to GTU. Around 100 thousand students take admissions every year in the 55 different technology programs being offered. Since examination and certification is the main responsibility of the University, it becomes necessary to conduct centrally administered end-of-the-term examinations every semester. This necessitates the curriculum for each program to be same in all the institutes. Hence, curriculum design became a centralized task to address the needs of today's globalized industry and also fulfill the aspirations and capabilities of the students, belonging to different strata of the society. Since curriculum designers and implementers are not the same in this experiment, a need-based curriculum model became imperative to be developed that could convey clearly and uniformly the intentions of the designers in letter and spirit to all curriculum implementers and stakeholders. In this backdrop, NITTTR Bhopal one of the four premium institutes established by the Government of India for quality improvement of the technical education, was assigned the task by GTU in 2012 to completely re-design the curriculum of twenty five engineering diploma programs to produce 'work ready' personnel. This thesis compares two significant music televisions in Czech television broadcasting, MTV and TV Óčko. Also it describes the development and history of the first American music television MTV and also it provides a view to some similar features of the development of the American MTV and the development of the Czech music televisions. Both Czech music televisions are also compared in terms of the program structure. The practical part of this thesis is based on interviews with four presenters of both Czech music televisions. On the basis of these interviews there has been evaluated an attitude of the presenter to their stations, space that they are provided in the broadcasting and also their subjective views on the positions of music televisions in the Czech media market and their comparison with other music televisions.

Objectives. To examine organizational structural attributes associated with counselor-client contact. Data Sources. Data were collected in 2004 and 2005 for a federally funded project, which simultaneously examines organizational structure, functioning, and resources among outpatient substance abuse treatment programs. Study Design. The study uses a naturalistic design to investigate organizational structure measures-ownership, accreditation, and supplemental services-as predictors of time in counseling and case management, and caseload size, controlling for geographic differences. Data Collection. Directors at 116 outpatient drug-free treatment programs located in four regions across the U.S. (Great Lakes, Gulf Coast, Northwest, and Southeast) voluntarily completed a survey about program structure. Primary Finding. Clients received more counseling hours in programs that were "intensive," publicly owned, accredited, and had a lower proportion of recently hired counselors. More case management hours were offered in "intensive," private-for-profit or publicly owned (versus private-nonprofit) programs, serving a lower proportion of dual-diagnosis clients, and providing more on-site supplemental services. Smaller caseloads were found in programs that were accredited and had a smaller average client census and a lower proportion of criminal justice referred clients. Conclusions. Organizational attributes are related to counselor-client contact and may have implications for staff turnover and service quality.

The aim of this Bachelor thesis is a reflection of changes in the main reporting session TV Prima family. Since August 2009, when Jitka Obzinová was appointed by chief editor and publicity chief. After her arrival the changes began to implement and these were unique for the Czech media market. The changes led to the creation of the hourly information block, which allowed in messages to process of new topics which until then, was not in the news area. Development of the new information blocks which led to the cancellation of the news of sport as well as the abolition of the moderated by the weather. However the changes that have been made in the course of two years, have led to an increase in viewing current news FTV Prima. It did not transform only the content and structure of the main intelligence relationship but also a visual concept. Detailed chronological overview of the ganges arised after the analysis of print and online media for the reference period. The nature of an object-oriented program: How do practitioners understand the nature of what they are creating?

Object-oriented programming is seen as a difficult skill to master. There is considerable debate about the most appropriate way to introduce novice programmers to object-oriented concepts. Is it possible to uncover what the critical aspects or features are that enhance the learning of object-oriented programming? Practitioners have differing understandings of the nature of an object-oriented program. Uncovering these different ways of understanding leads to a greater understanding of the critical aspects and their relationship to the structure of the program produced. A phenomenographic study was conducted to uncover practitioner understandings of the nature of an object-oriented program. The study identified five levels of understanding and three dimensions of variation within these levels. These levels and dimensions of variation provide a framework for fostering conceptual change with respect to the nature of an object-oriented program.

A key goal of drug abuse treatment providers is getting their clients to engage and participate in therapeutic activities as a first step toward deriving longer-term benefits. Much research had focused on personal characteristics that relate to client engagement;program characteristics have received less attention. This study explored client and program differences in engagement ratings using data from a nationwide set of 94 outpatient drug-free treatment programs in a hierarchical linear model analysis. The results show that elements of program context, including structural features (e.g., smaller size and Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations/Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities accreditation) and staff's perceptions of personal efficacy, organizational climate, and communal workplace practices. relate to better overall client engagement. These findings add further evidence that treatment providers should also address the workplace environment for staff as part of quality improvement efforts. (c) 2007 Elsevier Inc.
