Based on decomposing and estimating the cost of the construction machinery, machinery's efficiency and the cost are comprehensively analyzed. The cost-effectiveness analysis system and mathematical model is constructed based on those concepts, such as efficiency index, cost index and cost-effectiveness index. The model provides a way for selecting construction machinery in order to gain the maximal benefits.

UAVs may encouter execrable weather, terrain threat, firepower threat or task object changed while it was flying along the fixed route, a real-time route planning method was proposed. The mechanism how to solve these unexpected problems while flying was given. The rule of state conversion and pheromone updating were improved on the basis of traditional Ant Colony Algorithm(ACA). Some parameters were self-adaptive optimized, genetic operations and smoothness method were introduced in the Improved Ant Colony Algorithm(I-ACA). Two situations were simulated combined with real-time weather threat, in which target object was changed or not. Simulation results show that the real-time route planning strategy has strong ability to search real-time routes fast. It is able to solve abrupt problems well and offer real-time viable, safe and optimal routes for UAVs.

Kinetics and Crystal Structure of Poly(lactic acid) Crystallized Nonisothermally: Effect of Plasticizer and Nucleating Agent

The kinetics of neat poly(lactic acid) (PLA) and its composites with triphenyl phosphate (TPP) and/or talc crystallized nonisothermally at different cooling rates of 1, 2.5, 5, 7.5, and 10 degrees C/min was analyzed by differential scanning calorimetry and described by Avrami equation and combined Avrami-Ozawa equation. The results showed that talc acted as PLA nucleating agent accelerated crystallization rate by decreasing the crystallization half-time t(1/2) or rate parameter FM, whereas TPP acted as PLA plasticizer decreased crystallization rate. For neat PLA and plasticized PLA, the average values of Avrami exponent n were almost close to each other, but added TPP decreased crystallization rate constant k. As for PLA composites with talc, the crystallization process was relatively complex, and was divided into three regimes. At a given cooling rate, the value of n(2) was almost larger than that that of n(1) or n(3), whereas the value of k(2) was less than that of k(1) or k(3). The effective activation energy Delta E-x calculated from Friedman formula increased with the increase of relative crystallinity and TPP content, whereas decreased with the presence of talc. Wide angle X-ray diffraction verified that all samples crystallized nonisothermally in cooling rate range of 1-10 degrees C/min form cc-form. POLYM. COMPOS., 31:2057-2068, 2010. Synergetic Effect of Dual Compatibilizers on in Situ Formed Poly(Lactic Acid)/Soy Protein Composites

In this work, biobased poly(lactic acid) (PLA)/soy protein concentrate (SPC) composites were prepared by twin screw extrusion and injection molding. Poly(2-ethyl-2-oxazoline) (PEOX) and polymeric methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (pMDI) were used sequentially as compatibilization agents to improve phase morphology and interfacial bonding. Properties of the PLA/SPC composites were significantly improved by the application of PEOX and pMDI. The SPC phase was refined and stretched into fine threads during processing under the compatibilization effect of PEOX. With only 0.5 part pMDI, the tensile strength of PLA/SPC composite increased significantly to approach that of pure PLA. With 1 part pMDI, the tensile strength was 6% higher than that of the neat PLA. Scanning electron micrographs evidenced enhanced interfacial adhesion between the two phases. Dynamic mechanical analysis tests revealed that the presence of pMDI enhanced the storage modulus of the composite, especially at temperatures above the glass-transition temperature of PLA, due to the strong interactions between the PLA and SPC phases after pMDI compatibilization. The compatibilized PLA/SPC blends also exhibited significantly reduced water uptakes. Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy confirmed the occurrence of PLA grafting onto SPC molecules through pMDI compatibilization.

Aiming at the teaching problems of major courses on armored equipment, this article sets forth the instruction strategy, which sets up the instruction situation referencing the usual training task in armored and mechanized army based on desktop virtual reality system to improve the learning enthusiasm of students. The instruction strategy is executed through 'subject' combined with 'question', and is designed on three aspects: visual cognition design, interactivity design and virtual situation learning, which are aligned with the desktop virtual reality system.

79-83A controller providing communication between a computer and a CAMAC crate via the USB bus is described. For this purpose, the controller includes a DLP-USB245M module, which allows a programmer to work with the controller through a virtual COM port and, at the same time, provides all the advantages of the USB standard. We consider versions of interactions of the DLP-USB module with controller registers on a programmable logic array and on the microcontroller.

Rheology and Extrusion Foaming of Chain-Branched Poly(lactic acid)

In this study, the effect of macromolecular chain-branching on poly(lactic acid) (PLA) rheology, crystallization, and extrusion foaming was investigated. Two PLA grades, an amorphous and a semi-crystalline one, were branched using a multifunctional styrene-acrylic-epoxy copolymer. The branching of PLA and its foaming were achieved in one-step extrusion process. Carbon dioxide (CO2), in concentration up to 9%, was used as expansion agent to obtain foams from the two PLA branched using chain-extender contents up to 2%. The foams were investigated with respect to their shear and elongational behavior, crystallinity, morphology, and density. The addition of the chain-extender led to an increase in complex viscosity, elasticity, elongational viscosity, and in the manifestation of the strain-hardening phenomena. Low-density foams were obtained at 5-9% CO2 for semi-crystalline PLA and only at 9% CO2 in the case of the amorphous PLA. Differences in foaming behavior were attributed to crystallites formation during the foaming process. The rheological and structural changes associated with PLA chain-extension lowered the achieved crystallinity but slightly improved the foamability at low CO2 content. POLYM. ENG. Incremental relaying is introduced to the multi-nodes coded cooperative system. The Incremental-Best-Relay selection scheme in coded cooperative networks is proposed based on opportunistic relaying selection strategy. The outage probability and average spectral efficiency are analyzed and simulated. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can achieve higher average spectral efficiency while keep the same outage probability as opportunistic relaying-coded cooperation, and an optimal average spectral efficiency also can be found as the average ratio of signal to noise (SNR) is fixed.

By using the regional climate model RegCM3 this paper simulated the drought over Southwest China during 2009 and 2010. By using to the NCEP reanalysis data this paper analyzed the impact of the atmospheric precipitable water, the water vapor transport and the water vapor budget. The result showed that: atmospheric precipitable water was less about 20% than normal years during the drought. The meridional water vapor transport was more than normal years and there was no big difference between the zonal water vapor transport before December 2009, but the situation after January 2010 was just contrary to it: the zonal water vapor transport was more and the meridional water vapor transport was similar to the normal years. The synthetic function of the zonal and meridional water vapor transport caused the water payout more than normal years during the drought.
