Based on a general design model for distributed control systems and using standardized languages of IEC 1131-3 for control, three approaches for programming are investigated. The first is based on IEC Programs with extensions, the second is a decomposition of Programs with SFC notations and the third approach uses Function Blocks corresponding to the IEC TC65 Function Block Standard. The approaches are specified, compared and conclusions for the use and for further work are made. The intention of the contribution is to discuss possibilities for open programming models more than to present final results.

Methodologies in architecture education varies in their vision of the effective theoretical evidence in architectural programming which act the basic roll in construct the design problem in fifth thesis .the architecture programming aims to build wide theoretical background of information about the real state of fifth project which support fifth student in prepares the academic research of the thesis, in gathering, analysis and evaluate the require information that related he component of the project. this articles describe problem of the wide gape which almost happened between the theoretical research in first semester of fifth thesis and the practical application of that information according creation of design problem to the project in second semester .that cause by misunderstand of the effective methodology of employ the theory bases in practical form which led solving design problem, so that there is no reflection of architecture production with the local ground. so this research aims to develop the practical approach of programming more close with real situation of the project, basically depends on the sequence logic steps of practical thinking in treatment the objectives information about all determinations of design problem of thesis .these determinations is related to presents all desired and needs of the different level of occupants and user as well as the client himself throughout the issues of the real state .this article experiment the practical approach in department of architecture in mosul university,by practical study include the student as well as the design staff in trying to make effect balance of theoretical academic research and practical academic research in create the design problem and product more real solution that enhanced the professional experience of architecture student in work field.

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have gained a lot of considerations in recent years and have significant impacts on different application areas. Wireless sensors have been successfully deployed in different computing environments to measure, gather and process the raw information in the sensing area to the observers. Sensor networks provide infinite opportunities, but at the same time pose rough challenges due to the sensors' characteristics and the operating conditions of these sensors. This paper provides an extensive study of the current state-of-art in programming wireless sensor network, presenting a classification of programming levels in the field and highlighting some likely programming challenges and research future directions.

One task expected for the 21 st century is that when designing a system S , the fact will be respected that in it an information processing component C will exist, influencing the other components of S . In case C is intended to simulate (using a simulation model m ), the simulation model used during the design of the system has to contain m . Especially the production systems and the logistic ones can serve as transparent illustrations of such a "model nesting", presenting the obstacles related to it and the surmounting of them.

The industrial world lacks common models for the design and realization of distributed industrial-process measurement and control systems. The different models and approaches originate from private solutions of different vendors of control equipment aimed at different customers. An approach for distributed control blocks is introduced and refined, which describes distributed control systems, hierarchical control systems, and agent systems. Since this model is currently under standardization in the International Electrotechnical Commission, widespread use can be expected and further contributions from research institutes will be helpful.

Genetic Algorithms has given rise to two new fields of research where (global) optimisation is of crucial importance: ' Genetic based Machine Learning ' (GBML) and ' Genetic programming ' (GP). An advanced implementation of GBML (Fuzzy Efficiency based Classifier System, FECS, developed by the authors) and Genetic programming (as defmed by Koza) are both applied to the case study 'fibre-to-yarn production process'. Results for both systems are presented and compared. Finally, the GP generated equations are transformed into rule-sets similar to those obtained from FECS.

Automation control systems typically incorporate legacy code and components that were originally designed to operate independently. Furthermore, they operate under stringent safety and timing constraints. Current design strategies deal with these requirements and characteristics with ad hoc approaches. In particular, when designing control laws, implementation constraints are often ignored or cursorily estimated. Indeed, costly redesigns are needed after a prototype of the control system is built due to missed timing constraints and subtle transient errors. In this paper, we use the concepts of platform-based design, and the Giotto programming language, to develop a methodology for the design of automation control systems that builds in modularity and correct-by-construction procedures. We illustrate our strategy by describing the (successful) application of the methodology to the design of a time-based control system for a rotorcraft Uninhabited Aerial Vehicle (UAV).

The problem of designing complex dependable systems is addressed in this paper. Due to some peculiarities of their application and behavior these are often referred to as reactive systems. Two main paradigms for their design have recently been proposed; we name these paradigms living processes and hidden concurrency, depending on their approach to concurrency handling. The analysis of application requirements and constraints is proposed as a methodology for selecting the most suitable implementation paradigm for a given application. Finally, it is shown that in some cases an intermediate paradigm may provide a suitable solution.
