The analytical expressions for thermoelastic damping and frequency shift of coupled dual-phase-lagging generalized visco-thermoelastic thin beam have been established. The numerical illustration has been carried out for thermoelastic damping with the help of MATLAB programming software. We have used mechanical and thermal parameters of Silicon Nitride under different beam dimensions and boundary (clamped and simply supported) conditions.

One of the biggest problems in teaching Mathematics is the motivation of students (Kloosterman, 1997;Lambic, 2008). The core of this problem is insufficient comprehension of reasons by students, why they want to learn Mathematics and in which way they could apply acquired knowledge of Mathematics (Southwell, 1994;Musto, 2008). Since programming is closely connected to Mathematics, this try has been compiled to make Mathematics closer to students with a help of working with software C++ Builder. The students from higher grades of elementary schools, high school students and university students have been participating in this project. Without previous knowledge of programming languages, the students were given tasks to create a certain computer program. The students have been making programs by inventing algorithms and setting visual components of the program, while the teacher, on their request, has been doing programming as part of the work. At the end of the project, the students have shown much better attitude towards the Mathematics class than before, and they have also obtained certain skills and knowledge in the programming field.

Raw rubber or rubber items are vulnerable to heat, oxygen, light and other factors during the processing, storing or using, due to exposure to the natural environment or a particular working environment, and easy to undergo physical or chemical change, such as the softening, sticky for crude rubber, and cracking, mildewy and brittle for rubber products which would degrade the material properties or even make it unusable. The loss of property caused by such rubber aging is up to hundreds of millions of dollars annually. Therefore how to accurately predict the rubber aging life and how to choose the appropriate test method are especially important for the selection of suitable rubber and reduction of the cost of existing aging experiment. Based on the summarizing and comparison of various kinds of rubber fatigue aging theories and experiment methods, a predicting rubber aging life software with VC++ programming language was developed. The software structure mainly included the theoretical prediction module, the commonly used rubber material data module, user guidance module. It could be used to predict rubber fatigue life, optimize the product material and help the manufacturing process more efficient implementation.

Computer music research realizes a vision of performance by means of computational expression, linking body and space to sound and imagery through eclectic forms of sensing and interaction. This vision could dramatically influence computer science education, simultaneously modernizing the field and drawing in diverse new participants. In this article, we describe our work creating an interactive computer music toolkit for youth called BlockyTalky. This toolkit enables users to create networks of sensing devices and synthesizers, and to program the musical and interactive behaviors of these devices. We also describe our work with two middle-school teachers to codesign and deploy a curriculum for 11- to 13-year-old students. We draw on work with these students to evidence how computer music can support learning about computer science concepts and change students' perceptions of computing. We conclude by outlining some remaining questions around how computer music and computer science may best be linked to provide transformative educational experiences.

A problem of automated construction of configuration tables for real-time operating systems is considered. software configuration information is categorized as follows: information depending on the target function of the system, information depending on the operating system (OS), and information depending on system hardware. For a specialized system meant for automated design of OS configurations, information links are established between its components and other functional elements of the programming software as part of the programmer's workplace. An automated software configuration environment developed by the authors of this paper is described. An example of working windows of a program for automated design of software configurations for avionics under control of the ARINC 653 compliant real-time operating system is presented.
