Currently, the work of freelancers is very much in demand. Because freelancers can work anywhere and anytime without being bound by a contract with a company or person. But freelancers have difficulty managing their tasks and projects because there is no system to monitor and manage the project. Therefore, the solution is to make the project freelancer monitoringsystem by implementing the MVC (Model View Controller) architecture model with the PHP Laravel and Slim framework. MVC design patterns are well-known patterns and are used for interactive software system architectures. The way the MVC method works is to separate the main components such as data manipulation (model), display/interface (View) and the process (Controller) so that it is more neat, structured and easily developed. The purpose of this study also compares the MVC Laravel and Slim framework architecture with a performance comparison method on load/stress testing on the dashboard page using Apache JMeter tools with 3 scenarios from samples 1, 100, and 500. Tests are done offline and report format results of performance tests is a Summary Report. The results obtained from performance comparisons using Apache JMeter are that the Slim framework is faster and better than Laravel's framework. (C) 2019 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V. Final year project (FYP) has long been known as one of the courses that provide engineering degree students the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to any engineering problems that require analytical and/or design and/or experimental effort. The evaluation for FYP is based on multitude of ways which are progress reports, oral presentation on research proposal, written proposal, manuscript, poster presentation and dissertation. With this amount of submissions and evaluations that needs to be done, a more efficient approach that requires paperless and time-saving system is considered. This paper presents an online management and assessments aspects of students' final year project work using Moodle for chemical engineering undergraduate programme. Moodle is used as a one-stop center to coordinate, manage students' submissions and evaluation marks, and conduct online evaluation. Additionally, the monitoring of students' submissions progress can also be made with the available options in Moodle. A preliminary survey was conducted after it was used for one semester. It can be concluded that by using a Moodle based-systematic approach, the lecturers are positively inclined to use Moodle as the management tool for FYP.

In Computer Science Program run by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, students are required to develop a software prototype and write a dissertation for their final year project. Preliminary observation has shown that for the last five years, an increasing number of students failed to complete prototype development within the allocated time. Current practice uses a log book to document meetings and discussions between supervisors and students. Although a detailed schedule has been proposed, there is no monitoring process to trigger specific actions to make sure all deadlines are met. To improve projectmonitoring and supervision, a prototype of a web-based supervision management system was designed and developed. The initial prototype consists of three modules, namely user profile, projectmonitoring (of software development and report writing) and appointment setting. Once the prototype is completed, we plan to conduct a user acceptance test.

Paper proposes the concept of Digital Road Construction Connected Site, that integrates the processes of interaction control systems road construction machinery. On the system tasked motion control construction machinery and spatial position and its working bodies, dispatching transport operations in real time. Search technologies appropriate to the level of economic justification of the main criterion of promotion of automation in the roads construction. Pairing interactive modeling with intelligent data frees engineers and architects to quickly analyze changes and design options in the physical environment. The potential impact is huge for saving time on rework, accelerating the building phase, and producing higher-quality projects.
