The Third Generation Partnership Project launched the Narrowband Internet of Things (NB-IoT) as part of 5G technology under Release-13. These networks are authorized Low Power Wide Area Networks. It uses less power and sends message over long distances. The NB-IoT is can be used widely in industries, environment, and home for automation.
