Development and Simulation of Real-Time Early Warning protection System for Electric Vehicle Charging Based on a Two-Layer protection model

With the increase of fire problems of new energy vehicles (EVs), more and more attention has been paid to charging safety. Firstly, the charging safety problems and protection strategies in the power grid are summarized from the grid side, the charging equipment side, the vehicle side, and the operation platform side, and a solution for the vehicle side charging safety protection is proposed. Secondly, with regards to building a charging early warning protection system architecture, a real-time protection strategy for EV charging is proposed;a battery temperature difference, battery voltage ramp rate, and current ramp rate are proposed;and a double-layer protection model of an active protection layer and a big data protection layer is established based on the real-time monitoring of 27 parameters. Finally, by building a physical simulation platform of the early warning system, the simulation and verification are carried out based on the BYD Han model. The system was demonstrated in the State Grid Tianjin Electric Power Company of China. The results show that the system can realize the charging real-time early warning and deal with it in time when the battery charging is abnormal, which has practical application value for the popularization and development of EVs.

Relay protection systems in the power grid are individually modeling protection devices based on their respective operational requirements. However, this approach leads to issues such as redundant modeling, independent operation of protection systems, data silos, and challenges in interacting with other business systems. To enhance the level of integrated operation and management, as well as the informatization, automation, and interactivity of the power grid dispatching, there is an urgent need to research the construction method of a relay protection device model center. This research aims to integrate and share comprehensive models and data elements of protection devices distributed across different systems, address the problem of independent maintenance of models and parameters in various systems, improve workforce efficiency, and contribute to the development of modern power systems. © 2023 IEEE.

The global world has entered into an era of population aging since 21 st century, thus it has become a hot issue in present society, and there are many studies of welfares of elderly in social field and economic filed, but there are few studies of welfare rights of elderly people in the field of law. At present, welfare services for elderly people in our country are not ideal, and they are generally in a state of development in disorder, and government do not have enough practical experience in providing welfare services for elderly people in our country. There are also lacks of funds support from other professional organizations, evaluations of welfare services as well as supervision on welfare services qualities in our country. Besides, there are also not relevant legal protections for welfare rights of elderly people in our country in current society. Welfare is regarded as basic human right in current world, and welfare rights of elderly people exist in the forms of basic rights of human beings such as rights of life and health, fair, social and economic power, social cultural rights and so on. The realization of welfare rights of elderly people should firstly rely on system protection of law, thus this paper makes an analysis of improvement of protection model of welfare rights of elderly people in China. The first part of this paper gives a brief introduction of the whole paper. The second part of this paper reviews definition of elderly welfare rights, contents of welfare rights of elderly people as well as theoretical and practical necessity of legal protection of welfare rights of elderly people. The third part of this paper makes an analysis of existing problems of protection of welfare rights of elderly people in our country. At last it proposes some improvement strategies of legal protection model of welfare rights of elderly people and gives a general conclusion of the whole paper.

In the construction of new power systems, the traditional network security protection mainly based on boundary protection belongs to static defense and still relies mainly on manual processing in vulnerability repair, threat response, etc. It is difficult to adapt to the security protection needs in large-scale distributed new energy, third-party aggregation platforms, and flexible interaction scenarios with power grid enterprise systems. It is necessary to conduct research on dynamic security protection models for IoT and other Blockchain-based IoT architectures. This article proposes a network security comprehensive protection model P2AEDR based on different interaction modes of cloud-edge interaction and cloud-cloud interaction. Through continuous trust evaluation, dynamic access control, and other technologies, it strengthens the internal defense capabilities of power grid business, shifting from static protection as the core mode to a real-time intelligent perception and automated response mode, and ultimately achieving the goal of dynamic defense, meeting the security protection needs of large-scale controlled terminal access and third-party aggregation platforms. Meanwhile, this article proposes a dynamic trust evaluation algorithm based on deep learning, which protects the secure access and use of various resources in a more refined learning approach based on the interaction information monitored in the system. Through experimental verification of the dynamic trust evaluation algorithm, it is shown that the proposed model has good trust evaluation performance. Therefore, this research is beneficial for trustworthy Power IoT and other Blockchain-based IoT architectures.

Despite its safety and convenience,modern technology has turned out to be an alienating force independent of *** relationship between modern technology and human development furnishes the macro-background for the discussion of personal information protection *** law should respond actively to avoid being reduced to a"morass of rules"in the global ***’s legislation on personal information protection emphasizes public law at the expense of private law;it lacks the rule based support of basic civil *** the legal system,civil law is an important means and basic norm for protecting the agency of human beings,as it can provide systemic support for the protection of personal *** of the corresponding legislation should establish the independent control of personal information by the subject of the information,and should reinforce the position of the weaker side in the interest *** regard to selecting of a model of civil law protection of personal information,the models of indirect protection and legal interest protection both have flaws;the rights protection model is better suited to China’s legislative and judicial *** right to personal information can be embedded in the existing normative system of personality rights to ensure the internal compatibility of the legal *** rights protection model should be adopted in the personality right section of the Civil Code.

protection equipment is used to prevent damage to induction motor loads by isolating them from power systems in the event of severe faults. modeling the response of induction motor loads and their protection is vital for power system planning and operation, especially in understanding system's dynamic performance and stability after a fault occurs. Induction motors are usually equipped with several types of protection with different operation mechanisms, making it challenging to develop adequate yet not overly complex protection models and determine their parameters for aggregate induction motor models. This paper proposes an optimization-based nonlinear regression framework to determine protection model parameters for aggregate induction motor loads in commercial buildings. Using a mathematical abstraction, the task of determining a suitable set of parameters for the protection model in composite load models is formulated as a nonlinear regression problem. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate the application of the framework. Sensitivity studies are presented to demonstrate the impact of lack of available motor load information on the accuracy of the protection models.

It is meaningful to import protection modeling and simulation into power system simulation for analyzing dynamic operation or cascaded operation of protection when there is a disturbance in power system. Based on the former researches of protection modeling method and protection simulation system, an application of the protection modeling and simulation mentioned above in transformer inrush eliminating algorithm research is explicated for proving the feasibility and validity of them in novel protection algorithm research in this short paper.

Monte-Carlo based approach to consider the cost of voltage dip and long duration interruption in optimal planning of SDGs

Voltage dip and long duration interruption (LDI) are among the most costly power quality phenomena. In this study, a Monte-Carlo based approach is proposed to consider the cost of sensitive loads disruption caused by dip and LDI in the optimal planning of synchronous distributed generations (SDGs). The idea is to link between trip probability due to dip and LDI and their yearly costs by employing Monte-Carlo simulation and acquiring their total costs during the planning horizon. The addition of disruption cost along with the traditional planning objectives like network upgrade cost and loss cost allows utilities to include the customer's perception during planning. A formula for the probability of disruption due to dip is derived and a modified Monte-Carlo approach is proposed. The methodology is illustrated on the distribution level of the IEEE 30-bus system and the optimisation problem is solved by particle swarm optimisation algorithm. The results demonstrate that the sensitive loads performance is improved from the dip standpoint in the presence of SDGs. However, the LDI cost is either not affected or aggravated by the presence of SDGs depending on the protection model. The total disruption cost is decreased.
