An integrated inorganic chemistry laboratory experiencefocusingon heterogeneous electrocatalysis with nickel (Ni)- and cobalt (Co)-basedelectrocatalysts is designed for upper-division, major-level chemistrystudents. In this laboratory, students will be guided through thefabrication of an indium tin oxide (ITO)-coated glass working electrode,electrodeposition of the nickel hydroxide (Ni(OH)(2)) andcobalt hydroxide (Co(OH)(2)) electrocatalysts on the ITOworking electrodes, and the electrochemical characterization of theelectrocatalysts. Students will investigate the electrocatalytic oxygenevolution reaction (OER) with electrocatalysts Ni(OH)(2) andCo(OH)(2) in an alkaline electrolyte. Cyclic voltammetry(CV) is the major experimental technique students will apply to measurethe performances of different electrocatalysts on the OER ***, a python-based simulation of the cyclic voltammogramswill be applied to help students gain more insights about the interpretationof the cyclic voltammograms of reversible one-electron redox reactions.

In the era of globalization, cross-border e-commerce has emerged as a significant driver of international trade, necessitating efficient logistics pathways to enhance delivery speed and reduce costs. This study presents a comprehensive approach to designing and simulating cross-border e-commerce logistics pathways using machine learning algorithms. We first identify the key factors influencing logistics efficiency, including geographical, regulatory, and demand variability aspects. Utilizing a dataset comprising historical shipping data, we apply various machine learning techniques, such as decision trees, random forests, and neural networks, to model and predict optimal logistics routes. The proposed model integrates real-time data processing and predictive analytics to dynamically adapt to changing conditions and optimize the logistics pathways in real-time. A python-based simulation framework is developed to visualize and test the effectiveness of the proposed logistics pathways under different scenarios. The results demonstrate significant improvements in delivery times and cost reductions when compared to traditional logistics strategies. This research not only contributes to the field of logistics and supply chain management but also provides practical insights for e-commerce businesses seeking to enhance their operational efficiency in the competitive cross-border market. Future work will focus on refining the model with additional variables and exploring the integration of blockchain technology to further enhance transparency and traceability in cross-border logistics operations.

This paper verified that the non-linear dynamic model of a car is more realistic than linear model. Trajectories are drawn using these two alternative models. It has been demonstrated that the U-turn trajectory of the non-linear model is nearly identical to the linear one yet differs appreciably in lane change. When the difference between these two models can be ignored if the slip angle is less than 1 degree. When the slip angle is increased, however, the consequences are drastically different. It is a significant feature that distinguishes non-linear models from linear models, which also reflect more of the real world. Original code can be found in the Appendix.

The most important indication of health is body temperature, which provides strong motivation for interdisciplinary research to advance measurement methods. In the work conducted, a thermochromic bio-compatible membrane is designed such that it changes color with the rise of temperature to a certain threshold. The novel wearable thermochromic membrane sensor consisted of incorporating polyoxymethylenmelamine blue 63 methyl stearate into a composite matrix of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and a water-soluble polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP). The response is highly colored and varies visibly without any input of electrical power. It turned dark blue at ambient temperatures (20-25 degrees C). At 37-38 degrees C temperature, its color turns light blue and finally white. Measurements of air permeability and static water contact angles (WCAs) revealed remarkable improvements in comfort and hydrophobic properties. It also improved air permeability from 30.76 to 33.15 cc/sec/cm, and hydrophobicity increased from 4.25 degrees to 52.25 degrees. The membrane flexibilities were found as 2.88 x 10-3 kg/cm, and tearing force was measured to be 985.91 units, more than the pure PVA/PVP membranes, which stood at 973.12 units, indicating there is greater resistance to tearing under stress. Results in such a membrane have shown very strong thermochromic response, which is suggested by its reflectance measurements of brightness. Then, a thermal detection patch that can be applied directly to the skin has been developed, demonstrating a visibly color-changing response toward such fluctuations of the body's heat. The results indicate that such a thermochromic patch or membrane will be highly useful for thermal management and early detection of breast cancer.

Along with the rapid growth of technology, the increasing usage of Autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) in agriculture aims to improve productivity and work efficiency. However, navigating an AMR in an agriculture landscape is very challenging since it requires an AMR to identify its surrounding area and finds the path for maneuvering around the field. In this work, we considered an agricultural landscape as an unknown maze. The walls in a maze represent the surrounding plants. We proposed a modified depth-first search (DFS) algorithm for mapping the environment based on predefined moving rules and developed a mobile robot simulator using the python turtle library to simulate the proposed approach. In the simulator, the robot scans the surrounding environment to determine the surrounding walls and empty track. Then it moves one at a time to a nearby cell based on the given rules. In case of an intersection, the robot saves the junction information before moving to the next cell. This way, when the robot arrives at a dead-end, it can backtrack to the nearest junction with an unvisited path. The simulation results show that the robot can map the maze and then back to its initial location.

When driving a car, the steering ability is one of the most important abilities. It determines the comfort level, stability, safety of the car. So far, basic on the consideration of security, AFS combine manual control and electric control to steer has been used at present. In the area of assisted steering, EPS has quickly developed and become the first choice of small cars. In this program, my teammate and I used python code to simulate four different circumstances: 1. BMW linear U-turn 2. BMW linear lane change *** non-linear force model 4. sharper turns-BMW. The article also plot the front tire force and the front tire slip angle vs time. By using function plot_trajectory, the article plot the Trajectory of Chevy((x(t), y(t)) and chi(t) vs t) for the non-linear force model for the U-turn above. At last, the article plot the front force and slip angle by our plot-forces function. From the final outcome,the article find that the car is successfully complete both maneuvers. The article observe that when the car is turning, the chi(t) is changing too. The U turn's values of y(t) and chi(t) are larger than lane change. The second thing the article find is nonlinear u_turn is harder to complete than linear. Lane change doesn't have too much difference. For t_end, The article think it is necessary to make sure chi is bigger than 180 when the sharper of two curves are the same. The F_f of the linear tent is to be larger than nonlinear in the linear model. The article also compare Chevy car with BMW car in the simulation, on U-turn speed and it turns out that Chevy car is faster. BMW completes sharper turns with minimal turn radius and turns time. The article use the date to calculate their F_f. If F_f is smaller, the car can complete sharper turns with minimal turn radius and turn times.

The emergence of ChatGPT has significantly enhanced the recognition and acceptance of artificial intelligence concept stocks within the Chinese stock ***, the short-and long-term fluctuations in the prices of AI companies remain uncertain. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to determine optimal strategy for evaluating the suitability of the contrarian strategy versus the momentum strategy in predicting the stock prices of AI concept stocks in the Chinese stock ***-comparison of the Chinese financial data sources iFinD and Wind Economic Database(EDB), this study collects the price data of AI concept stocks over the past six months, starting from the date of ChatGPT's publication. This study employ python to model stock price movements for both the momentum and reversal strategies. The goodness of fit is evaluated by comparing the modeled stock prices with the actual stock prices. This study demonstrates that the momentum strategy exhibits greater explanatory power than the contrarian strategy,accurately predicting 84.21% of artificial intelligence concept stocks. However, other studies suggest that while AI concept stocks continue to rise, momentum strategies remain effective,whereas when market sentiment cools down, contrarian strategies become more suitable for Chinese AI concept stocks. Hence, in China, the effectiveness of these strategies may vary depending on the prevailing market conditions.

Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia (COVID-19) has ravaged the world since 2019, seriously affecting human production and life. Although my country has controlled the epidemic on the whole, there are still local outbreaks. To this end, a classic infectious disease SEIR model was established to study the spread of the new coronavirus pneumonia epidemic. The population was divided into four categories: susceptible population, exposed population, infected population and removed population. After the parameters of the SEIR model were determined, python was applied to conduct drills on the SEIR model, and simulation analysis was conducted on the epidemic transmission in Taiwan and Guangdong provinces with and without control measures. The results show that there are significant differences in the number of exposed, infected, and removed numbers between the two provinces. It shows that early and timely strict prevention and control measures can effectively control the spread of the new coronavirus pneumonia epidemic.
