In this paper, a new method of study on non-linear singular systems from fluid dynamics using the rk-butcher algorithm is presented. To illustrate the effectiveness of the rk-butcher algorithm, four cases in non-linear singular systems from fluid dynamics have been considered and compared with the classical fourth order Runge-Kutta, and are found to be very accurate. Local truncation error graphs for the non-linear singular system based nuclear reactor core problem are presented in a graphical form to show the efficiency of this rk-butcher method. This rk-butcher algorithm can be easily implemented in a digital computer and the solution can be obtained for any length of time.

In this article, a new method of analysis for first-order initial-value type ordinary differential equations using the Runge-Kutta (rk)-butcher algorithm is presented. To illustrate the effectiveness of the rk-butcher algorithm, 10 problems have been considered and compared with the rk method based on arithmetic mean, and with exact solutions of the problems, and are found to be very accurate. Stability analysis for the first-order initial-value problem (IVP) has been discussed. Error graphs for the first-order IVPs are presented in a graphical form to show the efficiency of this rk-butcher method. This rk-butcher algorithm can be easily implemented in a digital computer and the solution can be obtained for any length of time.

The problem of optimal control of time-varying linear singular systems with quadratic performance index has been studied using the Runge-Kutta-butcher algorithm. The results obtained using the Runge-Kutta (rk) method based on the arithmetic mean (rkAM) and the rk-butcher algorithms are compared with the exact solutions of the time-varying optimal control of linear singular systems. It is observed that the result obtained using the rk-butcher algorithm is closer to the true solution of the problem. Stability regions for the rkAM algorithm, the single-term Walsh series method and the rk-butcher algorithms are presented. Error graphs for the simulated results and exact solutions are presented in graphical form to highlight the efficiency of the rk-butcher algorithm. This algorithm can easily be implemented using a digital computer. An additional advantage of this method is that the solution can be obtained for any length of time for this type of optimal control of time-varying linear singular systems.

The discrete solutions obtained using the rk-butcher algorithms are compared with the exact solutions of the electronic circuit problem and are found to be very accurate. Stability regions for the Single term walsh series method and the rk-butcher algorithms are presented. Error graphs for inductor currents and capacitor voltages are presented in a graphical form to show the efficiency of this method. This rk-butcher algorithm can be easily implemented in a digital computer and the solution can be obtained for any length of time.

The results (discrete solutions) obtained using the rk method based on the arithmetic mean (rkAM), single-term Walsh series (STWS) and rk-butcher algorithms are compared with the exact solutions of the non-linear singular systems for the time-invariant and time-varying cases. It is found that the solution obtained using the rk-butcher algorithm is closer to the exact solutions of the non-linear singular systems. Stability regions for the rkAM, STWS and rk-butcher algorithms are presented. Error graphs for discrete and exact solutions are presented in a graphical form to highlight the efficiency of this method. The rk-butcher algorithm can easily be implemented using a digital computer and the solution can be obtained for any length of time for both time-invariant and time-varying cases for these non-linear singular systems, which is an added advantage of this algorithm.

Bilinear singular systems can be used in the investigation of different types of engineering *** the past decade,considerable attention has been paid to analyzing and synthesizing singular bilinear *** importance lies in their real world application such as economic,ecological,and socioeconomic *** are also applied in several biological processes,such as population dynamics of biological species,water balance,temperature regulation in the human body,carbon dioxide control in lungs,blood pressure,immune system,cardiac regulation,*** singular systems naturally represent different physical processes such as the fundamental law of mass action,the DC motor,the induction motor drives,the mechanical brake systems,aerial combat between two aircraft,the missile intercept problem,modeling and control of small furnaces and hydraulic rotary multimotor *** current research work discusses the Legendre Neural Network’s implementation to evaluate time-varying singular bilinear systems for finding the exact *** results were obtained from two methods namely the rk-butcher algorithm and the Runge Kutta Arithmetic Mean(rkAM)*** with the results attained from Legendre Neural Network Method for time-varying singular bilinear systems,the output proved to be *** such,this research article established that the proposed Legendre Neural Network could be easily implemented in *** can obtain the solution for any length of time from this method in time-varying singular bilinear systems.

Numerical solution of second-order robot arm control problem using Runge-Kutta-butcher algorithm

The parameters governing the arm model of a second-order robot control problem are studied using the Runge-Kutta-butcher (rk-butcher) algorithm. The exact solution of the system of equations representing the arm model of a robot are compared with the corresponding discrete solutions (approximate solutions) at different time intervals using the rk-butcher algorithm. The absolute error between the exact and discrete solutions is also determined. A detailed well-composed comparison is carried out using the results and graphs obtained.

Image processing applications via time-multiplexing cellular neural network simulator with numerical integration algorithms

A novel approach to simulate cellular neural networks (CNN) is presented in this paper. The approach, time-multiplexing simulation, is prompted by the need to simulate hardware models and test hardware implementations of CNN. For practical applications, due to hardware limitations, it is impossible to have a one-to-one mapping between the CNN hardware processors and all the pixels of the image. This simulator provides a solution by processing the input image block by block, with the number of pixels in a block being the same as the number of CNN processors in the hardware. The algorithm for implementing this simulator is presented along with popular numerical integration algorithms. Some simulation results and comparisons are also presented.

In this paper, a universal simulator for cellular neural network (CNN) is presented. This simulator is capable of performing Raster simulation for any size of input image, and thus is a powerful tool for researchers investigating potential applications of CNN. This paper reports the latency properties of CNNs along with popular numerical integration algorithms;results and comparisons are also presented.
