A Dual-Layer Mover Magnetic Levitation Gravity Compensator and Method for Its rapid Analytical modeling

To levitate ultraprecision instruments and large-scale aerospace equipment, gravity compensators need to provide greater levitation forces. The realization of such forces is hindered by mechanical structural constraints. Concurrently, the low speed of existing modeling methods makes repetitive calculations for compensators with multiple permanent magnets (PMs) challenging. To address these two challenges, a novel magnetic levitation gravity compensator (MLGC) topology and a rapid modeling method are introduced. For the topology, finite element method (FEM) simulations are used to investigate its performance. For the modeling method, the magnetic field strength (MFS) contributions from PMs at various positions relative to the target are initially assessed. The computation process is subsequently accelerated by limiting the number of PMs considered. In addition, various tradeoffs between speed and precision are evaluated. Ultimately, a prototype is fabricated and subjected to experiments to validate the new topology and modeling method. According to the simulation results, the new topology can effectively increase the achievable levitation force to 14180.84 N without being limited by mechanical structural constraints. In addition, a stiffness of 15.88 N/mm is obtained. Moreover, the novel modeling method significantly reduces the calculation time, with only minor decreases in accuracy. Even the maximum errors are merely 1.33 parts per thousand and 1.23 parts per thousand. The calculation time is reduced by 52.18% and 86.66%. Finally, the topology's performance and the modeling method's effectiveness are validated experimentally.

rapid modeling of Chinese Huizhou Traditional Vernacular Houses

In this paper, we propose an automatic modeling method based on constructive grammar for building Chinese Huizhou traditional vernacular houses, which are famous and important examples of Chinese traditional architecture. The proposed method includes two steps: layout generation and feature generation. In the layout generation step, layout guidelines based on 2-D geometric rules are used to evaluate the layout result. In the feature generation step, a probabilistic network is used to generate the features for a single house while feature conflict penalty functions are used to generate the reasonable features for multiple houses. Both the layout generation and feature generation steps use the Metropolis Hastings algorithm to search for the optimal solution. To increase the computational efficiency of the proposed system, the two steps are performed on a graphics processing unit device using a Monte Carlo sampler. Moreover, a dynamic probability strategy is used to perform the layout perturbation. The proposed method is easy to implement and extend. The experimental results show that the proposed method is practical and efficient. Non-expert users can rapidly generate reasonable Huizhou vernacular houses via simple and intuitive interactions with the system.

Evaluating shop floor input control using rapid modeling

A simple, spreadsheet-based rapid modeling approach to analysis of input control is developed. This approach uses relationships which allow decomposition of a job shop queuing network. Order release is based on a minimum release time interval, dictated by the bottleneck machine utilization. The objectives are to develop insights into how input control affects work flow and how rapid models can help in achieving this. The rapid model performs well and the order release mechanism is shown to be robust. Economic analysis based on throughput, inventory and lead time tradeoffs is provided. The value of input control is shown to be dependent on the cost structure. The impact on profitability is small, however, relative to the impact of operating at the optimal utilization level. Because society is constantly moving forward, some outdated technology will eventually be eliminated. On the one hand, we require the communication system to have powerful functions and better performance. On the other hand, it requires short time of product development and low cost control. So to meet these two ambivalent needs, it use computer technology to implement them. Simulation is necessary in the whole process of communication system engineering *** the face of such problems, this paper proposes a fast modeling strategy for communication system based on MATLAB. Preliminary communication system modeling. The probability model and monte carlo method are introduced to realize the probability statistics method of simulation results. The simulation results can be processed by fitting and interpolation. Fast Fourier transform (FFT) technique is applied in OFDM communication system design. In addition, the model is evaluated by subjective evaluation and statistical ***/Simulink simulation experiment results in this paper show that the obtained data samples often have certain regularity, but also contain random perturbation, which may be caused by a variety of factors. Therefore, the curve with minimum error can he obtained by fitting and interpolation.

This paper proposes an online calculation method of theoretical power losses for high-voltage(HV) distribution system based on rapid modeling and data quality analysis in order to improve the timeliness, accuracy and efficiency of the important task. At first the power grid structure model can be rapidly formed according to the basis data library transferred from the original PSD-BPA format file. Secondly, data quality analysis and estimation or correction technique could be implemented for these input load data coming from SCADA. Thirdly, the power flow and line loss for this HV power distribution system would be calculated by the classical Newton-Raphson method. Finally, statistical analysis may be done for these power loss calculation results, and consequently the reports for theoretical power loss calculation might be acquired in any customized format file. The test results for a HV distribution network in Zunyi, Guizhou show that the method is efficient and applicable, which may provide a certain reference for the development of theoretical power losses analysis for power distribution system.

According to nonimaging optical principle and traditional LED free-form surface lens, a new kind of LED free-form tilted lens was designed. And a method of rapid modeling based on Scheme language was proposed. The mesh division method was applied to obtain the corresponding surface configuration according to the character of the light source and the desired energy distribution on the illumination plane. Then 3D modeling software and the Scheme language programming are used to generate lens model respectively. With the help of optical simulation software, a light source with the size of 1mm*1mm*1mm in volume is used in experiment, and the lateral migration distance of illumination area is 0.5m, in which total one million rays are computed. We could acquire the simulated results of both models. The simulated output result shows that the Scheme language can prevent the model deformation problems caused by the process of the model transfer, and the degree of illumination uniformity is reached to 82%, and the offset angle is 26 degrees. what's more the efficient of modeling process is greatly increased by using Scheme language.

rapid modeling and Finite Element Analysis of Missile Stiffener

Stiffener is the important missile structure to ensure the structural strength of the missile. In order to improve the design efficiency and the quality of the missile stiffener, the methods of missile stiffener rapid modeling and analysis are proposed. First, the problems of traditional manual modeling of the stiffener are analyzed. According to the problems and actual requirement of modeling, volume decomposition method is used to divide the stiffener into the upper section, the lower section and the web in order for feature analysis and parameter extraction. Then based on the parameters the basic unit decomposed above is created for Boolean operation to establish the stiffener. Finally, a rapid stiffener modeling and analysis program were developed based on UG Open API, the modeling and analysis result validates the feasibility of the method.

In order to shorten the design cycle of the excavator working device, we have proposed a rapid modeling method for the excavator working device which uses parameters. Based on the Pro/toolkit, which is secondary development tool of Pro/E4.0,and combined with Vs C＋＋2005 programming software. It developed a flexible set of MFC visualization-friendly interfaces. Users can enter data in the visual interface according to their needs and it will generate a new part model quickly. So it improves the design quality, shortens the design cycle, and makes the cost lower significantly.

Aircraft wing box rapid modeling based on skeleton model

In the process of traditional aircraft structure design, repetitive manual modeling of aircraft wing box parts is time consuming. Meanwhile, it＇s difficult to update associated models when product design changes. Aiming at solving these problems, a method for rapid modeling and updating associated models was put forward. Based on skeleton model, combining with the technology of template re-use, it makes aircraft wing box rapid modeling and correct updating possible. The detailed implementation process of the method was given, and a certain aircraft wing box was taken as an instance to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of this method.
