The traditional routing mechanism based on single path has become bottleneck which affects and restricts the performance of the whole network Multi-next hop routing mechanism can implement packets forwarding in parallel, whde preserves the best-effort model of the network layer. Multi-next hop technology can effectively ease the network congestion, increase resource utilization and enhance the network robustness. The paper makes a survey of the available multi-next hop routing algorithms, with the problem of the useless link between eqoidistant from the destination, an improved Multi-next Hop routing mechanism based on Shortest Path searching Sequence Numbering (MHR-SPSN) is proposed. Results of the simulation analysis demonstrated the feasibility and efficiency of the presented method.

With the rapid growth of population and technology, the electric power consumption and number of utility consumers had increased quickly. In order to serve larger utilityconsumers, the Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) systems are widely used. In the wireless data acquisition systems such as ARM and Temperature-Humidity, the process of data transmission through wireless means, the routing algorithm is very important. Due to the difference between such data acquisition systems and traditional large scale Wireless Sensor Networks, we need to find out a proper routing algorithm to make the system work with the best efficiency, the least bit error rate, the shortest delay and the best stability. Therefore, we figure out a new algorithm for our system, which is named Ant Colony routing algorithm based on Neural Networking. The algorithm is firstly simulated and then carried out in an embedded system. Due to the result of the simulation, the performance of the algorithm is better than the existed routing algorithm.

In this paper, we propose an efficient routing algorithm based on AODV for the Mobile Hybrid Wireless Networks (MHWNs), which consists of the mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) and an infrastructure wireless networks (such as cellular networks). In MANETs, the performance of the networks has been greatly challenged by the mobility from nodes and link state changes, while the link in cellular networks remains stable link with the mobile stations. This algorithm for routing construction takes advantage of the features of MHWNs, such as hybrid radio channels and nodes heterogeneity, to accomplish the bi-direction routing discovery on demand. Our results show that the performance of MHWNs is improved in the time and overhead for route path discovery process the under our bi-direction route algorithm.

The application of CRSN (Cognitive Radio Sensor Networks) can alleviate the shortage of spectrum resources. As one of the core technologies of WSNs (Wireless Sensor Networks), routing algorithm is important to the overall performance of the network. Therefore, a cognitive clustering routing algorithm for Heterogeneous WSNs is proposed. The algorithm is suitable for cooperative communication networks between cognitive sensor nodes and common sensor nodes. Selecting a cluster head according to the number of idle channels and the residual energy of the node. Protect low-energy nodes and make full use of high-energy nodes by setting double energy thresholds. The concept of node edge degree is applied to improve the probability of cluster selection. A new clustering mechanism is introduced according to the node location. Compared to the original algorithm, the improved algorithm of the original algorithm, and the existing routing algorithm for CRSN, the simulation results show that the network life cycle and the data transmission amount is significantly increased.

In this paper, we propose a novel energy aware routing algorithm for target region monitoring in wireless sensor network. In our algorithm, a gathering node is chosen within target region based on energy metric and hops to sink to gather and aggregate data. Multiple paths are found between gathering node and sink, and each path is assigned a probability of being chosen, depending on the energy metric and communication cost. Our routing algorithm uses sub-optimal paths occasionally besides the minimum energy path from the gathering node to sink. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm saves energy consumption, decreases transmission delay compared with current schemes like directed diffusion algorithm.

The efficient routing algorithm is the basis for ensuring the performance of the UAV AD hoc. Most of the current routing algorithms only consider a certain feature of the node, and often have network instability and large packet loss rate. Aiming at this problem, this paper proposes a routing algorithm based on decision tree, collects and analyzes various attribute characteristics of nodes, forms a decision-making scheme, and selects the transmission path with the highest comprehensive evaluation. Experiments show that the algorithm improves the delivery success rate of the packet.
