Endoscopic imaging plays a very important role in the diagnosis and treatment of lesions. However, the imaging range of endoscopes is small, which may affect the doctors' judgment on the scope and details of lesions. Image mosaic technology can solve the problem well. In this paper, an improved feature-point pair purification algorithm based on sift (Scale invariant feature transform) is proposed. Firstly, the K-nearest neighbor-based feature point matching algorithm is used for rough matching. Then RANSAC (Random Sample Consensus) method is used for robustness tests to eliminate mismatched point pairs. The mismatching rate is greatly reduced by combining the two methods. Then, the image transformation matrix is estimated, and the image is determined. The seamless mosaic of endoscopic images is completed by matching the relationship. Finally, the proposed algorithm is verified by real endoscopic image and has a good effect.

As an essential steam-water separation device in the secondary loop of nuclear power plant, the steam-water separation efficiency of corrugated plate dryer plays a decisive role in the economic indicators and safety of a nuclear power plant. Thus the research on the internal steam-water separation mechanism is of extremely significant value and the flow characteristics of the free falling water film on the corrugated plate wall are the basis of the research on water film rupture. The phenomenon of water film rupture on the wall surface will have a great impact on the secondary carrying, gas-water separation efficiency and even the economic indicators of nuclear power plants. However, it is meaningful to define whether the water film has broken and the fracture criterion because the method of defining the water film breakdown by the naked eye is extremely unreliable and inaccurate. Therefore, this paper proposes a method for defining the critical point of water film rupture on corrugated plate wall by the application of the sift (Scale-invariant feature transform) feature selection algorithm and SVM (Support Vector Machine) classification method. The sift (Scale-invariant feature transform) algorithm is applied to obtaining the characteristic information of the wall water film rupture image when the airflow velocity in the flow channel of the experimental section of the corrugated plate captured by the highspeed camera is gradually increased. Meanwhile, the two-class model of SVM (Support Vector Machine) is used to classify water film images and define the critical point of water film rupture on the corrugated plate wall by training, detection and inversion. The results show that the algorithm based on sift feature selection and SVM classification method can well define the critical point of water film rupture, keep the certainty and consistency of the water film rupture determination benchmark, and avoid the introduction of human identification error. A novel algorithm is presented to make the results of image matching more reliable and accurate based on sift (Scale Invariant Feature Transform). sift algorithm has been identified as the most resistant matching algorithm to common image deformations; however, if there are similar regions in images, sift algorithm still generates some analogical descriptors and provides many mismatches. This paper examines the local image descriptor used by sift and presents a new algorithm by integrating sift with two-dimensional moment invariants and disparity gradient to improve the matching results. In the new algorithm, decision tree is used, and the whole matching process is divided into three levels with different primitives. Matching points are considered as correct ones only when they satisfy all the three similarity measurements. Experiment results demonstrate that the new approach is more reliable and accurate.

Scale-invariant feature transform (sift) is a popular pattern recognition method in 2D-image because it can abstracts the features which are invariant to rotation, scale zooming, brightness changing. So it demonstrates a certain stability to objects subjected to view point changing and noise distribution. However, the dimension of the sift descriptors is too high, and its runtime is too long. Aiming at this disadvantage, this paper propose a new method to generate feature descriptor based on hierarchical region and treat different regions differently. Improved sift algorithm reclassificates descriptor generating regions, using a circular area divide into 2x2+ 1 sub-regions instead of rectangular area in original algorithm. In the feature matching stage, setting different thresholds to 2x2 fan-shaped regions and 1 annular region, to achieve retaining right matched points as much as possible while removing wrongs. Comparing with the sift algorithm in some aspects, experiment results show that in the condition of fuzzy, light, rotation and affine transformation, improved sift algorithm can accomplish image matching test well and matching speed significantly improved.

The difference of sensor devices and the camera position offset will lead the geometric differences of the matching images. The traditional sift image matching algorithm has a large number of incorrect matching point pairs and the matching accuracy is low during the process of image matching. In order to solve this problem, a sift image matching based on Maximum Likelihood Estimation Sample Consensus (MLESAC) algorithm is proposed. Compared with the traditional sift feature matching algorithm, SURF feature matching algorithm and RANSAC feature matching algorithm, the proposed algorithm can effectively remove the false matching feature point pairs during the image matching process. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has higher matching accuracy and faster matching efficiency.

In order to improve the speed and accuracy of image registration, this paper proposes a hybrid algorithm combined sift and SC-RANSAC algorithm. It utilizes the sift algorithm to extract the feature points, and then utilizes nearest-neighbor method to find the matching points of two images. Finally, the SC-RANSAC algorithm is used to get rid of the wrong matching points. The experimental result shows that the proposed algorithm runs faster than algorithm combining sift with RANSAC.

Banknote recognition means classifying the currency (coin and paper) to the correct class. In this paper, we developed a dataset for Jordanian currency. After that we applied automatic mobile recognition system using a smartphone on the dataset using scale-invariant feature transform (sift) algorithm. This is the first attempt, to the best of the authors knowledge, to recognize both coins and paper banknotes on a smartphone using sift algorithm. sift has been developed to be the most robust and efficient local invariant feature descriptor. Color provides significant information and important values in the object description process and matching tasks. Many objects cannot be classified correctly without their color features. We compared between two approaches colored local invariant feature descriptor (color sift approach) and gray image local invariant feature descriptor (gray sift approach). The evaluation results show that the color sift approach outperforms the gray sift approach in terms of processing time and accuracy. (C) 2016 The Authors. Research on the algorithm of Image Matching based on Improved sift

The paper analyze and improve the sift optimized algorithm, and proposes an image matching method for sift algorithm based on quasi Euclidean distance and KD-tree. Experiments show that this algorithm has matching more points, high matching accuracy, no repealed points and higher advantage of matching efficiency based on keeping the basic characteristics of sift algorithm unchanged, and provides precise matching point to generate precise image stitching and other related fields of the follow-up product. At the same time, this method was applied to the layout optimization and achieved good results.

Application Research of Trademark Recognition Technology based on sift Feature Recognition algorithm in Advertising Design

Now-a-days, due to the sharp increase in the number of advertising designs, creative duplication is easy to occur in advertising design. If this situation is not discovered in time, it may cause legal disputes and cause damage to the reputation and property of the enterprise. In view of the above situation, this paper proposes a trademark recognition technology based on sift feature recognition algorithm to avoid duplication of advertisement design and cause copyright disputes. Aiming at the defect that the dimension of the image feature vector extracted by sift algorithm is too high, the principal component analysis method is used to reduce its dimension. For the problem of unsatisfactory image recognition rate accuracy of sift algorithm, a support vector machine is used to classify the extracted feature vector, so as to improve the image recognition rate. Based on the above content, build a trademark recognition model. The research results show that the recognition accuracy of the model reaches 98.82%, 0.66% and 0.58% higher than that of Model 1 and Model 2;AUC value of model 3 is 0.962, 0.039 higher than model 2 and 0.107 higher than model 1. The above results show that the proposed trademark recognition model can better identify similar advertising designs, thereby avoiding design duplication and legal disputes.

For the diversity of feature extraction and the complexity of similarity calculation in the feature-based image registration methods, an improved Scale Invariant Feature Transform (sift) feature matching algorithm is proposed. First of all, by using the classic sift algorithm, the feature points of the images are extracted. By using the gradients normalized method eigenvector descriptor is formed. Then the feature points are matched according to the Euclidean distance ratio. At last, by using the bilateral matching algorithm, the mismatch points are removed. The experiments show that this method is reliable and practicable.
