Digital education emphasizes the use of technology to enhance and transform teaching, promoting the improvement of instructional models. It is poised to become a significant driving force in advancing high-quality educational development. However, numerous practical challenges remain, such as disadvantages of digital technology resources, ethical norms, and professional training. This study aims to examine the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and challenges of the three Online physical education(OLPE) teaching modes-Edmodo, Zoom and Google Meet-through literature review, case-based empirical method, survey-based empirical method, mathematical statistics analysis and swot analysis. It explores the international OLPE teaching concept, aiming to integrate digital sports teaching within the OLPE model with current traditional teaching practices, and to develop a paradigm better aligned with modern educational methods. The results revealed that based on constructivist learning theory and situational learning, technological enhancements, correct ethics, and the integration of OLPE resources could help advance the development of digital-physical education teaching. The study offers valuable insights into the challenges and disadvantages of OLPE in digital education. It will provide both theoretical and practical guidance for advancing digital teaching practices.

In recent years, it has been understood that the importance of hydrogen has increased due to environmental sensitivity and will play a larger role in human lives in the future. This study provides a comprehensive strategic assessment of Turkey's hydrogen economy by PESTEL and swot analyses, identifying key challenges and opportunities, and proposing actionable strategies to enhance Turkey's competitiveness and sustainability in the global hydrogen transition. In addition, This research holistically evaluates both internal and external factors, identifying key structural transformations necessary for Turkey to establish a competitive and sustainable hydrogen economy. This study not only bridges gaps in the existing literature but also provides roadmap for policymakers and industry stakeholders aiming to accelerate Turkey's hydrogen transition.

An Improved Latitude Difference Method for swot Accuracy Evaluation Using Crossover Discrepancies

The surface water and ocean topography (swot) mission is currently operating in scientific orbit. The Ka-band radar interferometer (KaRIn) altimeter represents a significant departure from nadir altimeters, offering abundant observations that would greatly advance oceanographic research. However, the accuracy of altimetry data is crucial to the validity of research results and must be evaluated using crossover discrepancies to obtain prior estimations. Traditional methods are not fully suited to the wide-swath data and tend to be inefficient when processing massive amounts of data. In this study, we propose an improved latitude difference method for calculating crossover discrepancies. The reliability of this algorithm is verified using both along-track and across-track split data. The results indicate that the accuracy of crossover discrepancies for swot is comparable to those of conventional altimetry satellites, confirming the performance of the swot low-rate L2 KaRIn product. The standard deviation of crossover discrepancies between swot and other satellites in the South China Sea (SCS) is about 8 cm, around 6 cm in the Indian Ocean (southern) (IOS), and approximately 8 cm in the Gulf of Mexico (GOM), further proving the accuracy of the swot data. Analyzing the discrepancies beyond 50 km offshore, the results demonstrate that the KaRIn altimeter is influenced by the coastline, while its performance improves in the open ocean. By leveraging the vectorization algorithm, the efficiency has been improved significantly. The computation speed of crossover discrepancies using the improved latitude difference method is around 0.006 s per point, faster than the traditional method, demonstrating that the algorithm is efficient.

Assessment of renewable energy development in Africa using the swot analysis model: the cases of South Africa, Nigeria, Egypt, and Kenya

As the world drifts away from the dominance of fossil fuel-fired generators which is in line with the Paris Agreement of net-zero carbon emission by 2050, many countries around the world have now intensified effort in achieving this clean energy goal. This research aims to assess the developmental strides made in promoting renewable energy (RE) technologies in selected major African countries as they strive to meet the ambitious zero carbon emission goal. To carry out this assessment, the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (swot) model is utilized. The representative countries under study are carefully selected from major region (Eastern, Western, Northern, and Southern) of Africa. The findings of this research reveal that Africa is still a long way from meeting its RE target as compared with other continents, as more grit and zest is needed by African leaders in order to achieve its RE goal. Furthermore, it was revealed that South Africa was the best-performed country in terms of RE development, while Nigeria was the least-performing country. In addition, all countries considered had RE policy in place;however, an effective RE monitoring is lacking as no country met its RE targets and timeline. Therefore, enforcing effective RE monitoring and improving security will be key to enhancing RE development in Africa.

Study region: The Tibetan Plateau (TP) is a high-altitude region characterized by harsh environmental conditions and limited accessibility, making the monitoring of its numerous lakes a significant challenge. This region is crucial for hydrological studies, and its numerous lakes play an important role in regional water dynamics and climate change research. Study focus: This study evaluates the applicability and accuracy of Surface Water and Ocean Topography (swot) satellite data in monitoring lake water levels across the TP. The study compares swot-derived lake levels with data from the Ice, Cloud, and Land Elevation Satellite-2 (ICESat-2), instead of relying on in situ measurements. New hydrological insights for the region: Based on swot data, lake water levels for 1919 lakes were successfully extracted, covering approximately 99 % of lakes larger than 0.2 km2 and filling observation gaps in around 800 lakes compared to traditional altimetry satellites. Validation against ICESat-2 data demonstrated high consistency, with an average bias of -0.01 +/- 0.13 m and a mean absolute error (MAE) of less than 0.1 m. swot outperformed other radar altimeters in monitoring lake levels when compared to ICESat-2. Furthermore, by integrating swot data with other altimetry-derived lake level products, we created high-frequency time series data for 12 lakes, which showed strong correlations with the DAHITI and Hydroweb datasets. These results highlight swot's potential for global lake monitoring, offering new opportunities for water resource management and climate change research.

The diverse energy storage systems (ESSs) in electric vehicle (EV) applications are one practical approach to accomplishing the sustainable development goals (SDGs) and reducing carbon emissions. The operational performance of EVs can be improved with accurate remaining useful life (RUL) prediction of energy storage devices (ESSs) such as lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), supercapacitors (SCs), and fuel cells (FCs). However, the degradation of LIB, SC, and FC during charging and discharging occurs, and therefore, it is necessary to carry out accurate RUL prediction. Generally, the RUL prediction of the LIB, SC, and FC is conducted using a single model structure. Nonetheless, a single model structure for the RUL prediction may not yield accurate outcomes due to its inability to analyze the complex degradation mechanisms and variable external factors associated with LIB, SC, and FC. Therefore, the novelty of this review work focuses on studying the hybrid methods utilized for predicting the remaining useful life (RUL) of energy storage devices such as LIB, SC, and FC in EV applications The objective of the presented review work is to demonstrate the superiority of the state-of-the-art hybrid methods compared with a single model structure framework for RUL prediction with LIB, SC, and FC. At first, the presented review work examines the previously published review literature with RUL prediction of LIB, SC, and FC, depicting their research fields and related research gaps. Secondly, a brief discussion is conducted on the failure models and degradation mechanisms of LIB, SC, and FC technologies. Furthermore, the hybrid methods employed, comprising the hybrid model/data-driven methods specifically with particle filters (PF), Kalman filters (KF), optimization techniques, and other stochastic model/filter techniques, are reviewed, focusing on the implemented methods, outcomes, advantages, and disadvantages. Optimal Strategy Selection under Fuzzy Environment for Strategic Planning Methodology Selection: A swot Approach

Over the past few years, many researchers apply swot analysis in combination with other methodologies in order to obtain enhanced strategic planning frameworks and tackle the weaknesses of applying only one approach. To overcome some shortcomings of swot analysis, an integrated swot analysis, fuzzy net present value (FNPV), and fuzzy Shapley value (FSV) methodology was proposed in the present study as a conceptual framework to cost-effectively achieve and manage the objectives for efficiency, capacity, and availability as well as to provide practical insights on how to formulate strategic decisions. The fuzzy net present value method was used to determine the strategic importance of the swot matrix. Taking into account the theoretical foundation of the cooperative games, the fuzzy Shapley value was used to determine the optimal combination of swot matrix strategies to effectively overcome the ambiguities and uncertainty of real-world conditions. In the game, any type of strategy (WT, WO, ST, and SO) was considered as a player who had partial freedom to make some choices. According to the results of the present study, the combination of the WT1 WO1 ST2 SO2 strategy was selected as the most appropriate strategy combination to be implemented in the organization.

Shining a light on Solar Chemicals and Fuels: Findings from a swot-led (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) literature review and workshop

Solar chemicals and fuels (SCF) show enormous potential and can offer solutions to renewable energy intermittency and storage while reducing industrial CO2 emissions. Yet many challenges remain. SCF advocates face formidable obstacles, which include coordination across the different technological pathways and information dissemination, prohibitive costs, raw materials scarcity, or lengthy development timelines. Our study, then, offers a deeper and more critical understanding of these challenges through a systematic review that discusses the key Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats threatening or supporting the development of a SCF market. NVivo software was employed to produce this comprehensive swot analysis, which was further complemented with a workshop that validated the data and offers a valuable resource for future strategic planning. Results indicate that while technological immaturity remains a major obstacle, a primary strength lies in SCF technologies' suitability for decentralized deployment and specialized applications. Insights from the literature and our workshop participants highlight SCF's potential for energy integration, alongside the critical need for targeted regulation, education, and training within a cohesive policy framework. Our conclusions also emphasize the value of swot analysis and workshops in generating insights to help stakeholders address research gaps, foster collaboration, and secure funding to drive future developments.

Small Scale Variability in the Wet Troposphere Impacts the Interpretation of swot Satellite Observations

The Surface Water and Ocean Topography (swot) mission offers new insights into submesoscale ocean processes. Realizing this requires careful consideration of other geophysical signals such as the signal delay induced by water vapor in the troposphere. Over short spatial scales (swot's 3-month calibration phase. Using a high-resolution atmospheric model and a novel in situ array of GNSS observations, we find the swot error budget for wet troposphere is regularly exceeded, with signal magnitudes up to double the error budget at small scales. We also find centimeter level biases in radiometer derived delays within similar to 50 km of the coast. We suggest that, given the low radar noise and high resolution of swot KaRIn observations, wet troposphere errors can bias geophysical interpretation and hence have increased significance for ocean topography.

Assessment of the Performance of swot for Observing the Static Ocean Topography

Marine geodetic references, such as the mean sea surface (MSS), are currently limited by the spatial resolution of conventional satellite altimeters. We analyze the new swath-altimetry data from the Surface Water and Ocean Topography (swot) satellite, to determine the performance of swot for mapping the static ocean topography, and possible benefit of inclusion in future reference models. By determining how well swot observes the static features in the ocean surface during swots fast-sampling phase, we have determined the expected performance during the science phase of the mission. We observe a 50% reduction in variability of the static surface compared with Sentinel-3, whilst resolving up to 36% shorter wavelengths (down to similar to ${\sim} $8 km) compared to the current state-of-the-art Hybrid23 MSS reference model. Comparisons with Sentinel-3 show that swot will benefit the current altimetry record.
