Prescribed-Time sampled-data control for the Bipartite Consensus of Linear Multi-Agent Systems in Singed Networks

This article examines the prescribed-time sampled-data control problem for multi-agent systems in signed networks. A time-varying high gain-based protocol is devised to solve the prescribed-time bipartite consensus problem of the linear multi-agent systems with the control gain matrix being resolved through the utilization of the parametric Lyapunov equation. By using the method of scalarization, sufficient conditions are attained to ensure the prescribed-time bipartite consensus of linear multi-agent systems, where the maximum allowable sampling interval (MASI) ensuring the prescribed-time consensus is determined by the initial values of the system state, the linear dynamics of the system, and the maximum eigenvalue of the Laplacian matrix. Specifically, the MASI is inversely proportional to the maximum eigenvalue of the Laplacian matrix. Finally, the validity of the conclusion is ensured through numerical simulation.

In this work, a characterization in terms of weak observability inequalities is built up for output feedback stabilizability of linear periodic sampled-data control systems with a given decay rate. Based on this characterization, we give a verifiable condition to ensure the output feedback stabilizability of a class of periodic sampled-data control systems coupled by constant matrices. Finally, we provide several valuable examples as applications of our main result.

Master-Slave Finite-Time Synchronization of Chaotic Fractional-Order Neural Networks under Hybrid sampled-data control: An LMI Approach

In this paper, a hybrid controller with a sampled data control is investigated to achieve finite-time master-slave synchronization of delayed fractional-order neural networks (DFONNs). A Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional is constructed to obtain the sufficient conditions that incorporate delay information. For the first time, the asymptotic stability of the error system is guaranteed in a finite-time using the inequality technique and a sampled-data hybrid controller. The obtained conditions are expressed via linear matrix inequality. Notably, the proposed approach outperforms existing methods, demonstrating improved results in a comparative analysis. An explicit formula is utilized to calculate the settling time, which is significantly influenced by the fractional order 0control method is evident, showcasing its effectiveness through numerical simulations and addressing the synchronization problem in DFONNs.

A Novel sampled-data control for Reachable Set Estimation of Nonlinear Multiagent Systems

This article examines the reachable set estimation problem for leaderless multiagent systems (MASs) with Lipschitz nonlinear dynamics and bounded input disturbances via novel sampled-data control. First, a new time-dependent sampled-data control technique is proposed for nonlinear MASs. In contrast to the conventional approach, the developed control signal includes a sampling-time variable that varies over time within each sampling period. Next, the primary Lyapunov term consists of aperiodic sampling in various degrees, hence becoming discontinuous. Furthermore, sufficient reachable set conditions are derived as linear matrix inequalities by making use of Wirtinger's inequality-based time-dependent discontinuous Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and two-sided looped functional. In the end, two illustrated numerical examples validate theoretical outcomes exhibiting reduced conservatism by expanding the sampling period and minimizing the number of decision variables.

Improved stability and stabilization criteria of sampled-data control systems based on an enhanced looped-functional

This paper proposes improved stability and stabilization criteria that can increase the upper bound of sampling interval for the sampled-data systems while decreasing the computational complexity. To realize such improvement, an enhanced loopedfunctional is devised so that it can include 1) two time integrals of the weighted state derivative and 2) a single-integral quadratic terms with an augmented vector stacked with the state and its derivative. In addition, to aid the efficient use of the looped-functional, two zero equalities are newly established in the main derivation, which plays a key role in reinforcing the relationship between the time integrals of the weighted state derivative and other considered states. Furthermore, an improved free-matrix-based integral inequality is provided to obtain a tight upper bound on the single-integral quadratic terms in the stability analysis and control synthesis process. This article is devoted to solving an adaptive finite-time sampled-data stabilization problem for a class of fractional-order nonlinear systems (FONSs). By taking advantage of type-2 fuzzy logic systems (FLSs), the uncertainties existed in considered system are able to be approximated, and one adaptive fuzzy finite-time sampled-data stabilizer (AFFSS), which possesses switching dynamics, is developed by following backstepping approach. By the crucial effects of those switching dynamics, the "singularity phenomenon," which is happened in taking the derivative of such AFFSS at equilibrium state can be efficiently avoided. In addition, when such stabilizer with allowable design scalars and sampling period is imposed on the considered FONS, the closed-loop system under consideration can reach practically finite-time stable, it can be verified with the aid of the selected Lyapunov function candidate (LFC). In the end, the developed stabilization scheme is, respectively, applied for a numerical and an engineering examples to verify its effectiveness.

Secure Multiplicative sampled-data control for T-S Fuzzy-Based Cyber-Physical Systems Subject to Deception Attacks

This work addresses the secure control problem of T-S fuzzy-based cyber-physical systems (TSFCPSs) under randomly occurring deception attacks (RODAs). Random variables following the Bernoulli distribution are used to model the probability of false data injection by malicious adversaries. A novel memory-based sampled-data control (MSDC) scheme is developed to counter RODAs and multiplicative control gain uncertainties (MCGUs), both of which follow the Bernoulli distribution. The MSDC design for the TSFCPSs considers information over the entire sampling interval, t(k) to t(k+1), and accounts for signal transmission delays in relation to the augmented state vectors. The looped functional (LF) approach is employed to address the formulated Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional. New stabilization criteria, based on the LF method, are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities to ensure the proposed TSFCPSs are asymptotically stable despite RODAs and MCGUs. An illustrative example of a power system with a doubly-fed induction generator-based wind turbine demonstrates the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed MSDC in achieving the desired performance.

Semi-global synchronization of stochastic mixed time-delay systems with Lévy Noise under aperiodic intermittent delayed sampled-data control

This article studies the semi-globally exponential synchronization of stochastic mixed time-delay systems with L & eacute;vy noise (SMTDSLN) under aperiodic intermittent delayed sampled-data control (AIDSC). Thereinto, a new aperiodic intermittent sampled-data control, which is aperiodically intermittent and samples at a past interval but not a moment, is proposed. Secondly, considering the coupling factor, we utilize the vertex Lyapunov-Krasovskii (L-K) functional and combine the graph theory method to construct the global L-K functional and give its properties. This construction method is introduced for the first time in studying the semi-globally exponential synchronization of SMTDSLN. Next, combined with Halanay inequality, sufficient conditions for semi-global synchronization of SMTDSLN under AIDSC are given, including estimations of the non-control rate and the relationship between the initial condition range and AIDSC. Finally, we apply these results to bidirectional associative memory neural networks (BAMNNs) and give two corresponding numerical examples to demonstrate the validity of the theoretical results. This article addresses sampled-data control of 2-D Kuramoto-Sivashinsky equation over a rectangular domain Omega. We suggest to divide the 2-D rectangular Omega into N subdomains, where sensors provide spatially averaged or point state measurements to be transmitted through communication network to the controller. Note that, differently from 2-D heat equation, here, we manage with sampled-data control under point measurements. We design a regionally stabilizing sampled-data controller applied through distributed in space characteristic functions. Sufficient conditions ensuring regional stability of the closed-loop system are established in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). By solving these LMIs, we find an estimate on the set of initial conditions starting from which the state trajectories of the system are exponentially converging to zero. A numerical example demonstrates the efficiency of the results.

Reinforcement Learning(RL)based control algorithms can learn the control strategies for nonlinear and uncertain environment during interacting with *** by the rewards generated by environment,a RL agent can learn the control strategy directly in a model-free way instead of investigating the dynamic model of the *** the paper,we propose the sampled-data RL control strategy to reduce the computational *** the sampled-data control strategy,the whole control system is of a hybrid structure,in which the plant is of continuous structure while the controller(RL agent)adopts a discrete *** that the continuous states of the plant will be the input of the agent,the state–action value function is approximated by the fully connected feed-forward neural networks(FCFFNN).Instead of learning the controller at every step during the interaction with the environment,the learning and acting stages are decoupled to learn the control strategy more effectively through experience *** the acting stage,the most effective experience obtained during the interaction with the environment will be stored and during the learning stage,the stored experience will be replayed to customized times,which helps enhance the experience replay *** effectiveness of proposed approach will be verified by simulation examples.
