Video compression is considered as an important step-in real-time application for 4K and 8K video contain. Actually, several techniques of compression are adopted and developed, but the Versatile Video Coding (VVC) standard is the latest one. VVC adopt many new and developed techniques such LMCS filter, motion estimation, intra prediction and Context-based Adaptive Binary Arithmetic Coding plus (CABAC + ). CABAC + is the only operation of entropy coding adopted in VVC video codec but it undergone modifications and improvement compared to that used in High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC). CABAC is operate with three main modes: Bypass (BM), Terminate (TM) and Regular (RM). Additionally, the heavy calculation of RM results a long critical path delay and consume more resources. We propose in this work, software and material implementation of regular mode CABAC + decoder in the latest VVC standard. Firstly, the RM CABAC + algorithm is implemented on MATLAB software in order to control and manage the decoding process of syntax element. Secondly, the RM CABAC + algorithm is designed, implemented, synthesized and emulated. Finally, comparison results are carried out between that obtained with ModelSim and that obtained with Matlab in order to ensure the accuracy of our proposed design.

Hyperspectral unmixing is an essential tool for analyzing hyperspectral data, especially in remote sensing. Many approaches have been developed for this problem, ranging from model-based to deep learning-based, and (hybrid) unrolled methods. However, the development of supervisedly trained deep learning-based unmixing methods is hindered by the lack of available labeled training datasets. In this paper, to enable the supervised training of neural networks for hyperspectral unmixing, we propose a methodology to construct a synthetic training database directly from the hyperspectral image to unmix. We use this data generation approach to train an unrolled unmixing method LPALM. The trained LPALM is assessed on two real hyperspectral datasets and shows the best performances compared to other classical, unrolled, and autoencoder-based unmixing methods. The Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) positioning technology is a robust algorithm capable of providing centimeter-level accuracy in environments with favorable satellite visibility. However, in GNSS-Challenging environments such as urban canyons, where buildings and foliage may weaken GNSS signals, impede signal tracking by GNSS receivers, and exacerbate multi-path effects, RTK positioning can suffer performance degradation. The tight integration of Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) with RTK overcomes the limitations inherent when each system operates independently, delivering enhanced performance. This study realizes a tightly coupled RTK/INS algorithm. Performance tests and analyses were conducted on public vehicular datasets and one empirically measured static data set, which presents challenges in RTK algorithms. The results indicate that the tight integration algorithm improved the positioning accuracy of the empirically measured static data and the open dynamic data set. In scenarios with an unknown and time-varying number of targets, this paper proposes an underwater multi-target tracking method based on cross-entropy method data association for multi-array bearing fusion. The proposed method constructs a probability distribution over the association space under conditions of uncertain target numbers. Potential solutions for target birth and death, as well as the association between surviving targets and bearing measurements, are generated by random sampling. This approach enhances the tracking capability under conditions of a large and unknown number of targets. Simulation experiments validate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm and improved performance compared to traditional methods.

Biodiversity management is essential for preserving Earth's array of life, with birds playing a crucial role as indicators of environmental well-being. Avian acoustics has emerged as a valuable tool for assessing ecosystem health, forest degradation, and climate change. However, traditional bird survey methods are often invasive and time-intensive. Existing non-invasive techniques such as the deployment of passive acoustic and autonomous recorders encounter challenges such as high background noise, which can lead to misinterpretations. Digital filters are vital for processing acoustic signals particularly Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filters by reducing noise and limiting bandwidth. Yet, conventional FIR filter designs have limitations, especially regarding fixed window functions. This study proposed an innovative approach by employing an adaptive window function in FIR filter design using the Enhanced Cuckoo Search Optimization (ECSO) algorithm. This method dynamically adjusts the window function to balance main lobe width and sidelobe attenuation, thereby enhancing filter performance. The results of the simulation revealed that the proposed filter model achieved better filter characteristics and performance in terms of SNR, THD, and MSE. Likewise, the experimental setup, which involved testing the prototype in a natural habitat, showed that the avian acoustic spotlighting device successfully detected the intended bird vocalizations compared to other recording devices. Furthermore, its adaptable methodologies hold promise for addressing various signal processing needs beyond bioacoustics, thereby extending its impact and significantly contributing to ecological research and conservation efforts.

Aiming at the problem of inaccurate boundary segmentation of liver tumors by existing algorithms, an improved model REEC-UNet based on U-Net was proposed. Firstly, in order to alleviate the problem of gradient disappearance and semantic information loss in deep networks, residual connection is introduced into U-Net network framework. Then, the ECANet channel attention network was added in the coding stage and decoding stage to improve the performance of the convolutional neural network. The training and testing were carried out on the LiTS2017 dataset. The experimental findings demonstrated that the proposed method achieved more precise tumor boundary segmentation and enhanced the accuracy of liver tumor segmentation.

This paper presents a low-cost and AI-based automated solution for detecting hidden objects using thermal infrared imaging. We developed an affordable IR imaging setup and collected a comprehensive dataset of thermal images with different objects hidden under clothing. To overcome the challenges of low-resolution IR sensors, we implemented innovative signal processing techniques to enhance image quality, making it suitable for accurate object detection with AI. Meanwhile, a large dataset of over 1100 IR images with hidden objects was provided to train object detection algorithms, specifically YOLOv9 and RCNN. The average detection rate is close to $95 \%$, which is higher than that of the similar work. Furthermore, we investigated the physics of thermal IR radiation, analyzing the temperature behavior of various concealed objects over time.

The electrocardiogram is a vital piece of information about a person's health that provides measurements of changes in the cardiovascular system. When using complex software modules to diagnose diseases, the clinical ECG signal is always tainted by power line interference and electromagnetic fields, leading to inaccurate ***, it's critical to reduce these ECG data acquisition recording inaccuracies in order to perform precise clinical analysis. We are working on an algorithm that will split the data array of three successive ECG signals into three equivalents. The Empirical Mode After decomposing the data matrix and running it through the Independent Component Generation algorithm, we will identify and remove any noisy components using deep learning scheme. To obtain an error-free result of ECG data, we will then apply reverse ICA and EMD features for deep learning.

In this research study, the authors examine the use of the Ant Lion Optimizer (ALO) in building reliable communication models for the Underwater Wireless Sensor Networks (UWSNs). Citing some of the challenges unique to the UWSNs include high latencies, low bandwidth and constrained power. The ALO-based protocol proposed for implementation will support efficient selection of routing paths, utilization of energy resources and overall, network scalability, and robustness. Simulation results revealed that the ALO-based protocol has better performance compared to other methods by at least 15% in terms of routing energy, packet delivery, network lifetime, and latency. This research benefits the further advancement of UWSNs by suggesting the improvement of present technologies, and may be used in a number of underwater operations.

This paper makes an attempt to develop an approach to systematize the huge amount of information in publications devoted to signal sampling theorems. It seems that the most relevant approach to solving this problem is ontological. Ontological classes are identified to form a conceptual scheme for describing the subject area under consideration. Examples of reference theorems are given, to which the establishment of relations with selected classes is applied. The developed knowledge base is intended for practical use in the development and analysis of algorithms for digital processing of radio signals.
