The latest EASA recommendations from 2024 indicate the possibility of using machine learning techniques in aerodrome monitoring. The aim of the work was to analyze solutions and prepare FOD (Foreign Object Debris) object detection software on aerodromes. In order to implement the issue, a dataset of photos and video recordings for testing algorithms was developed. The dataset consists of 1480 photos showing FOD at aerodromes and photos of the runway itself, according to EASA and FAA recommendations. FOD detection was implemented using a classical, k-means method and effective YOLOv5.

Camera applications using object detection, such as automated driving and surveillance cameras, are becoming more common. It is necessary to detect objects near sensors with low latency in environments with low visibility such as nighttime conditions. In this paper, we have optimized the parameters of an Image signal Processor (ISP) to maximize the accuracy of object detection in low-light conditions. The object detection accuracy was improved from 66.7% to 80.4% by optimizing ISP parameters using a Genetic Algorithm (GA). The optimized Image signal Processor (ISP) was implemented on an FPGA and confirmed to operate at 90 MHz.

In this paper, a single co-ordinate rotation digital computer (CORDIC) based architecture for real-time tomographic image reconstruction is presented. The method is based on solving the Hankel transform of a function. Four out of the five steps of the algorithm are fast Fourier transform (FFT) reducible and a CORDIC based architecture can be followed. The Hankel transform is also broken into sine and cosine terms via the Chebyshev polynomial representation of the Bessel function. The method has $\mathrm{O}\left(\mathrm{N}^{3}\right)$ complexity. A single CORDIC hardware is very easily realizable which makes the system extremely cheap. signal to noise ratio (SNR) analysis of reconstructed images shows very little degradation (SNR degradation is less than $\mathbf{1 5 \%}$ for reconstructed images). The computation time is also very fast compared to existing literature (0.022 secs on Virtex6 FPGA; 0.095 secs on Spartan-3E FPGA and 2.56 secs on software platform), making it an extremely viable option.

Orthogonal time-frequency space (OTFS) uses symplectic finite Fourier transform (SFFT) to convert time-frequency doubly selective channel into sparse delay-Doppler channel, which can resist Doppler frequency shifts in high-mobility scenarios. For signal detection in the OTFS system, maximum-ratio combining (MRC) can be used to extract and coherently combine the received multipath components of the transmitted signal to improve the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of the combined signal. We describe the delay-Doppler input-output relation for two dimensional signal with ideal waveforms and its corresponding vectorized form for the cyclic prefix OTFS (CP-OTFS) system. Based on this relationship, the delay-Doppler domain MRC algorithm is first introduced to CP-OTFS system. And the MRC detector is further combined with low density parity check (LDPC) code as a turbo decision feedback equalizer (DFE) structure to detect signals, which can improve the detection performance of CP-OTFS system.

In this article, a mathematical model has been developed for underwater target positioning using a dynamic multistatic sonar system based on Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) clusters. A simulation calculation model for the dynamic multistatic sonar system positioning process has also been constructed. The study focuses on the arrival time positioning algorithm of the multistatic sonar system in a moving state. Additionally, simulation calculations of dynamic multistatic sonar target positioning of three receiving stations have been carried out. The research results can provide a new technical way for underwater detection and positioning of AUV clusters.

This paper focuses on recognizing dialed numbers in a touch-tone telephone system based on the Dual Tone Multi-Frequency (DTMF) signaling technique with analysis of stochastic aspects during the noise and random duration of characters. Each dialed digit's acoustic profile is derived from a composite of two carrier frequencies, distinctly assigned to represent that digit. The identification of each digit is achieved by pinpointing the frequency pair with the highest energy or amplitude in its spectral output, utilizing the Discrete-Time Fourier Transform (DTFT). This analysis includes simulations that illustrate the effects of introducing stochastic variations during the “Mark” and “Space” intervals of the decoding process, offering insights into the technique's efficacy and the impact of random temporal fluctuations. This will reduce the accuracy of decoder decoding and lower the SNR of the system.

Biomedical signals provide valuable data on the activities of many bodily systems. Biomedical signals are often non-stationary and exhibit non-linear behaviour. Hence, it is rather challenging to get useful data from these signals alone by observation in the temporal domain. Because of this, signal processing methods are used to extract crucial aspects from these signals in order to diagnose various illnesses. Automated methods that do not need human intervention and have a high rate of anomaly detection may help doctors with the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of ailments. Back in the day, machine learning was the go-to approach for bio signal analysis. Deep learning algorithms are currently being developed. Electrocardiogram (ECG) signals indicate that the ANS, which regulates the heart's regular rhythm, is in a state of active regulation. This ECG signal is non-stationary and non-linear, much like any other bio signal. An electrocardiogram (ECG) may reveal symptoms of a number of illnesses. There were significant variations in the examined models' accuracy, recall, precision, and F1 score, and CNN 1-RNN, CNN 1-LSTM, and CNN 1-GRU all performed differently. While CNN 2-RNN and CNN2-LSTM models showed clear advantages and disadvantages, CNN2-GRU showed a more even distribution of the two. The CNN7 Layer model nevertheless managed to show impressive results, even with these modifications. On the other hand, CNN 7-LSTM comes out as the most effective approach, with impressive results: 93.5% accuracy.

Remote-center-of-motion (RCM) constraint is widely used in all kinds of ophthalmic surgery. The RCM system based on mechanical structure is too large and complex. While the way based on robot control solves these problems well and has better flexibility. Therefore, the research on RCM control is of great significance. In our work, an improved RCM control algorithm based on general robot is proposed, which is characterized by the progressive design of the coefficient of robot control increment, so as to achieve better compliance and stability. In order to verify the application feasibility of our improved RCM control algorithm, numerical simulation and simulation mapping experiments were carried out. The results show that the control process using the improved algorithm is more stable and reliable than the traditional way, and has good application feasibility and expansibility.

Traffic signs as a small target, its fast and accurate detection in the complex traffic environment has certain practical significance. This paper focuses on the lack of traffic sign detection accuracy in complex and changing traffic scenes, and improves the YOLOv7 algorithm in deep learning to improve the accuracy of the current existing algorithms and meet certain real-time performance. Experimental comparisons were conducted on the TT100k dataset, and the improved method improved the accuracy of the model by 1.04%, the recall by 2.37%, and the mean average precision by 2.52% compared with YOLOv7. The trial report has shown that the improved algorithm can validly enhance the precision of traffic sign detection and significantly improve the misdetection and omission of small.

This paper introduces a systematic methodology for enhancing cloud security in information systems by applying mathematical algorithms in cybersecurity. Using the most sophisticated computational methods, our approach strives to boost the security posture of cloud-based platforms by not only identifying but also blocking, and rectifying various cyber threats. We start with a detailed review and analysis of various algorithms, which contribute to the identification of gaps in the current research landscape and solutions already existing. We proceed by performing the requirement analysis during which we set up security targets for the cloud environment to be optimized. The second step consists of deliberation on what the best algorithms are and is involved in a process that will meet the identified requirements. We did the development work for a prototype of the security solutions described beforehand. It was integrated and tested on a cloud environment for the best KPI result. Performance metrics, including detection accuracy (98.5%), false positive rate (0.2%), response time (25 milliseconds), and resource utilization (CPU: The JSON-LD, Microformats, and MAP-trees (10%, 30%, and 40%) algorithms were assessed to determine the functionality of the algorithms. Thus, the security effectiveness values will be obtained in the following way: malware detection (99%) – intrusion detection (97%) – data breach prevention (95%) and insider threat detection (98%) will be determined through comprehensive testing with numerous cyber threats. One more thing I would like to mention is the scalability parameter of the security solutions they function both for 1,000 concurrent users and handle 1TB of data per day and 1,000 requests per second. The team calculated the scalability which was found out to be 95% which is over 90% thus highly scalable to meet the growing demand.
